We recently used MJP Conveyancing Ltd for the purchase of our first home, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

We were referred by our friend, Courtney Evans, who also works there, and she was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Courtney kept us consistently updated, explained things clearly, and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. Her support made a huge difference and really helped put our minds at ease.

We found the whole experience of using the online Journal etc, very positive. Even though the majority of information was online, being able to request call back and visit the office if necessary was very helpful. Every contact with all other parties was posted, making it all very transparent. The information and contact with the staff was professional and courteous.

Having bought and sold a number of property's using MJP, I can say without doubt they are one of the best firms to use for conveyancing. Yes they do mess up sometimes, like asking questions they already know the answer to. Because MJP use a online system the questions and answers fly back and forward very quickly. Gone have the days of post and having to telephone every two seconds. 99% of contact is through email or on line portal, forms are downloaded and returned within the same hour. As any review don't take my word for it, but your be very hard to find better.

Used this solicitor twice now and both times have been really really impressed. Reasonably priced and kept up to date at all stages, answered my many questions straight away and kept things moving as quickly as possible. All communication is great, easy to upload documents and contact when needed. Cant recommend this organisation enough!

Although I’m in my last stage in my study which is considered as difficult time, I found that MJP team took this into consideration and were in constant communication throug the whole process. Even when I was new to the online Journal system, when I asked for help, I found the team very keen on providing genuine assistance with small with small stuff.

I purchased my first home with MJP, they were efficient and the call back feature was always handy for any queries. As a FTB everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend.

5 years on as a returning client (as we had a great experience first time) I went back for a sale/purchase through MJP most went brilliantly with exception of closer to exchange/completion. There were times/points that points not communicated, I felt they could have done more to guide clients in terms of explaining if additional payments were required or additional signatures are required especially when we were asking if there was anything outstanding few weeks before exchanging. We had to rush to get witness signatures the day before we exchanged, which could have been avoided stress if we had known earlier.

Though we did have a few hiccups with communication on the week of exchanging, overall paying the premium price was worth going to MJP. Highly recommended.

There are points in the process where MJP could do more to guide their clients in terms of explaining what to expect, for example, when checking finances. I found this part, when I was buying, daunting because there were a lot of questions that I was not expecting. At other times, at various steps on conveyancing, for example, selling my property, the service was even better.

I would recommend MJP to others because of the fast and expedient service they provide.

I used MJP recently for a house sale/purchase and would highly recommend them.

The large majority of communication is via an online journal. They uploaded all the documents quickly after receiving them and all comms from all parties, so I could always see what was happening. It is quite handy for allowing you to catch up in your own time.

I had heard some worrying anecdotes from colleagues who had moved around the same time about feeling short changed at the end of the conveyancing process; there always seemed to be an issue with their conveyancers and the final bill. No such issues with MJP. The finance tab was kept up to date and I received the balance I expected from my sale promptly after completion.

Communication was always good and there is the facility to request a call if I had a specific query, but MJP were very quick at responding to online messages, so I never needed to call.

If I move in the future, I will use MJP again.

MJP have been great and work very quickly- if we have any questions they are straight on it to make sure we know everything we need.

The portal they use is very useful and it logs everything we do and what they do.

Would highly recommend and use again!!!

This is my 4th transaction with MJP. I found them in 2017 when buying my first property and have used them for every transaction since, bar my buy to let purchases in a company structure because they don't do them :( They are fast, efficient and reasonably priced. What I love most is the continued customer service after completion. I had a particularly tricky transaction in 2022 with a flat and they answered questions long after I'd completed. Fantastic service and sadly for us we don't plan to move again any time soon which means we'll take a break from using MJP (do buy to lets in a company guys, please!!). We completed on our newest property today and are so pleased!
