Just received our latest order…

Just received our latest order – as always better than even hoped for results. Taking a Zine to the highest level comes so close to "Book", without the prohibitive pricing. Consistency and great quality control - not to mention the convenient set up for uploading files.

Mixam rocks!

Mixam is my go to for professionally printed material at a fantastic price. I did pay extra for faster shipping on my last order, and it didn't quite arrive when it was supposed to, but weather had a lot to do with that too. Normally, these guys are speedy and efficient! They genuinely print great quality products for fractions of the price of other companies.

If you like to gamble, this is a good option. $5K wasted.

They printed our materials in the wrong color, radioactive green, when the design wasn't even green. There's no option for proofs, samples, or color references, so you're left hoping it turns out right.

After we sent photos and video showing all units had the same issue, they acknowledged the mistake and offered a reprint. A week later, they reversed their decision and offered only a 5% refund.

They also failed to provide a return label or address for 18 boxes of unusable material.

We had to reprint elsewhere at rush cost, effectively paying double. Not reliable, not professional, and not a company I would recommend as a vendor.

"As discussed, while we do allow for some variance in color, it does look like the background color on the covers is a bit more green than would be considered acceptable or within that tolerance.
We have two options available, depending on what you would prefer. We can either reprint the copies, knowing that we likely won't be able to have them delivered until around 03/9-03/10. If these need to be used sooner than we can get reprints to you, we can also discount the print cost of the order to keep and use the copies as they are."

First, please stop responding as if you care when your previous lack of response to my emails showed otherwise. At this point, actions matter more than appearances.

Second, do not offer solutions such as reprints if you are not prepared to follow through with them.

Third, if a reprint or initial resolution has already been offered, you need to honor that commitment.

Fourth, please respect your customer. Learn to conduct business properly, fulfill your promises, and stop changing your position.

Fifth, yes!, please send me 18 return labels so I can return all materials and receive a full refund. You already have my information, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Sixth, as I charge by the hour, please let me know who I should send the invoice to for the time spent taking photos, recording videos, sending emails, and responding to reviews.

Seventh, from one business to another, please stop providing explanations and excuses. We simply require a full refund. This matter should be straightforward.

I have explained all this repeatedly in previous emails, yet my concerns continue to be ignored while I receive the same responses over and over. I do not need further repetition.

Do I really need to continue explaining myself? Thank you. but no further discussion is necessary beyond resolving this matter.

As mentioned and as per our last email, we do want to support you as much as possible To ensure we’re being completely thorough, we’re still waiting for a few returned copies so our team can physically inspect them and confirm everything with absolute certainty.

We’re really sorry for the confusion and for how this was initially handled.
Based on the initial images shared, it did appear that the colour may have been outside of our usual tolerance, which is why a reprint was initially offered. At that stage, we hadn’t yet been provided with images showing multiple copies, which we need in order to carry out a full and accurate assessment.
After reviewing additional images showing more of the copies, we could see that the colours are consistent with the artwork provided and the online proof.
We completely understand your concerns, especially when comparing these to other items. That said, we’re only able to assess colour accuracy against the files supplied and our proofing system. Our website does note that we can’t guarantee colour matching with products printed elsewhere or on different materials (such as fabric or alternative card stocks), as these can produce noticeably different results.
We also weren’t made aware of a requirement to match existing items from another supplier. If we had known this upfront, we would have been able to explain the limitations and help you decide how best to proceed before production.
That said, we do want to support you as much as possible here. To ensure we’re being completely thorough, we’re still waiting for a few returned copies so our team can physically inspect them and confirm everything with absolute certainty.
We appreciate that this situation has caused inconvenience, especially with your need to reprint elsewhere, and we’re here to continue working with you toward a fair resolution.

The quality of the paper

The quality of the paper, printing, smyth sewn binding and trimming all turned out great. By using the recommended color profile the colors were true to the screen. Absolutely no surprises. The online editing tool was a breeze. Looking forward to many more books.

Later production time than I paid for

I ordered 2 orders for an event. I chose the production and shipping times to get them 4 days before my event. I couldn't order any sooner as we were still finalizing event details but I ordered weeks before the event. Both orders too 3-4 days more production/printing then what I paid for causing them to arrive past my event so completely useless to me. When I saw my order was still in production on the day it was supposed to be delivered I reached out to see if they could expedite it further and ship faster and they said they could not. And that they don't issue refunds since all the timelines are estimates. They literally have different price points and different timeline for production. If they aren't going to deliver on their timelines they offer at different price points, what is the point? This is false advertising.

Our production and shipping timeframes are always provided as estimates rather than guaranteed dates. As all of our products are custom made to order, there are occasions where production may take a little longer than expected due to various factors.

If you were working to a fixed deadline, we would always recommend letting us know in advance so we can review your order and advise on the most suitable options. Once an order is already in production, especially if we’re only made aware of a deadline on the estimated dispatch date, there’s unfortunately very limited scope to speed things up further.
We understand your concerns regarding timelines and these reflect estimated turnaround speeds rather than guaranteed delivery windows, and this is outlined throughout the ordering process, including on our shipping page and in order confirmations.
That said, we do appreciate how important timing is, and we’re sorry this didn’t align with your expectations on this occasion. I have printed three books with Mixam - both bulk and on-demand (Printlink) options. Each time, uploading the files, checking final proof and execution of print orders have been flawless. Cost-effective too.

Amazing Results!

It was very easy to use, including margins and guidelines. The Final product was absolutely gorgeous. I was disappointed that I could not ship to canada given I purchased on the US site so be aware of that. Overall, the final product was absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier, I would definitely recommend and will be using again.

Great Service!

Automatic cost counting is priceless

Automatic cost counting is priceless! I can play with various options and assess my projects at any time day or night, Monday or Sunday, without needing to contact representative. That's why I chosen Mixam first time out of several options.

The only thing I would like is to have some noticeable message after final button pressed and order is submitted. Every time I am clueless, if I did everything I need or not.
