Horrible cheap drop shipping scammers. Position themselves as Australian but it's clearly poor quality product from China that they have no control over. I ordered a light 4 months ago and have had no progress/hope of it coming - the business profits off of people becoming fatigued dealing with their poor service, including refusing a refund that I am entitled to. DO NOT BUY from here. Go to HAY instead.

Previously had good experience however bought a second table lamp (same as one I bought a year ago) and this one is faulty. Doesn’t charge or hold charge - so useless. Numerous emails to return / get refund ignored. Then when finally get a response I keep get a request to send a video. I send it, now asking for a different format than my iPhone recorded short video. Bottom line - it doesn’t work and far too slow and making it difficult to return for a refund. I won’t buy again from Misterlamp Melbourne despite two prior positive experiences.

Bought from this mob 10-12months ago and was scammed like everyone else. I’ve been following complaints since on and off. Still a lot of people being scammed by them. Seems that there’s a very large amount of complaints by people but “unfortunately “ they are not in “our” system.
WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL ALLOWED TO DO WHAT IT IS DOING????

Same as other reviews DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are scammers. They are Chinese not Melbourne based as advertised. What arrived was not what was advertised. On return was told to send to a Chinese warehouse address which turned out to be fake. Package is still “arrived in China” but you can’t track it past there.
Complete waste of time and money.

no option to refund and send products back like it says on their website. their website says they sent a shipping label to return faulty items. this is not the case.

Do NOT purchase from this company.
They are not in Melbourne for starters.
They send broken products.
They send products that once hung spontaneously break and stop working and will not give you your money back.
They just play games via email suggesting they only have a 30 day money back. Despite them selling products not fit for use.

Lamp broke after one year and it had barely being used as it was in a spare bedroom. Buyer beware do not purchase from this website.

Took months to arrive. Does not meet aus standards. Potential to burn house down and not as seen in pictures. No communictaion. Phone number on website is some poor bloke in Aus who has nothing to do with the company. Do not purchase.

They sent me a counterfeit light fitting. What I received is not what I purchased. They agreed to a refund, except sending back to China was going to cost me $400, the same as what the light fitting cost me. The fitting they sent was so cheap and nasty looking, I couldn't even sell it for $20 on buy swap sell. it ended up in the bin, and I lost $400. They are a fraud company - buyer beware!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE — they don’t comply to Australian standards, they kept blowing the fuse.
They are cheaply made out of china and they do not refund/allow you to return despite not complying with Australian standards
They should be shut down it’s an absolute scam and they don’t have an Australian contact despite making it look like they have a Aus phone number, all correspondence is via email - beyond frustrating - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Would give no stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. This company is scamming customers with rip off versions of a European company. When purchasing it doesn’t say it’s coming from China. Nightmare returns process which is costly and I’m still waiting for ‘China customs’ to process the package. Ripped off.

Terrible quality! Don’t buy from these guys. The lamps don’t meet Australian safety standards and to return them you got to send them back to China.
The advertisement they’re located in Melbourne is false.
They should be shut down asap.

Although it took around 6 weeks for the order to arrive, (and yes it was shipped from China) I was actually very pleased with the lights. Nice quality, pretty much as I expected and accurate to the advertised photos.
When I emailed the company to chase up the delivery I received an immediate reply. I expressed my concerns and was reassured with their response.

Rating less than 1 star. Fraudulent. Don’t be tricked into clicking ‘you have unlocked an additional 25%’.. not unless you want a further order( that you didn’t ask for!! No tracking number. Don’t be tricked like I was!

This is a scam, do not buy from them. I waited over 60 days to receive my order… they are not based in Australia, as they depict on their website. The lights that came are absolute rubbish and I spent over $500 AUD. My brother is an electrician and took one look at them and said they’re dodgy and won’t meet Aus standards. Do not buy from them, they need to be shut down.

Fraudulently claiming they are Australian based when they are not. Light fittings do not comply with Australian safety standards. Expect you to pay high shipping return costs back to china

Bought a pendant for my renovated kitchen. Was delayed in installing it due to issues with the build but on installation by electrician found that it didn't work properly. Emailed Mister Lamp and asked to send back and get one that worked as replacement but they refused as was out of 30 day refund/return policy (approx 60 days). I explained I didn't need refund, just needed a light that worked but they still refused. Given they had sold me a faulty product, the responsibility lies with them to replace it. It was in brand new condition. Just didn't work. I even offered to pay for return shipping of faulty product. They still refused. I have never had such poor customer service. I like their range and was planning to use their light fittings for my entire renovation
After this, I won't be. I have warned others about their faulty items and lack of integrity

Great service, everything arrived promptly and was as described. My kitchen light is just fantasic, makes me smile every time I see it on.

Online (email) staff have been very quick and helpful. We are interior designers and specify a lot of lighting & furniture.
Their products are very inexpensive so I was concerned but their quality is satisfactory, they have great designs and colours to work with when designing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are NOT in Melbourne, as they portray on their website. They are in China. I received my order & it was all broken. After emailing them numerous times with photos of the goods, all they would offer was a 15% refund (for something that was now worthless)! I had to return my order to China at a cost to me of $67 & still no refund on my order! AVOID THEM! They are dodgy & will take your money. Their products are cheap & nasty!! Look nice on the website but in reality, it is crap! Complaint lodged against them.
