I implore anyone considering buying anything from Miniot to reconsider…. I’m currently fighting to get my money back.

Yes, I've been waiting since may 2018.
And yes, after all this time, I didn't really expect that I would actually hold the record player in my hands at some point. But today he finally arrived. And it's absolutely fantastic! To everyone who is still waiting: Hold on, be patient, it's worth the wait!

I waited for five years for the Miniot Wheel to be delivered. The faith I had that the dedicated small team at Miniot would eventually deliver proved to be true. I was a little nervous making a further payment to get the new Miniot 2 wheel, but I am glad I did as the turntable both looks and sounds stunning. What I like most about the wheel is you can have it in a social / communal space, but it doesn't look an eyesore. I am organising a few gatherings with friends where I have asked them to bring their favourite vinyls along, it's so much more fun and visually appealing to have a turntable in the room producing the music rather than some disembodied streamer or CD player.

Yes. I waited more than 2 years for a record player. I never expected it to arrive. But now they have it under control and I received the Wheel 2. And boy, was that worth the wait. This thing sounds really good. But much much more important: it makes playing records fun. I never listened to singles because of the hassle. This player is so cool and intuitive, that I just can't stop putting them on. Starting a record by pushing is the f%cking bomb! I could go on and on. Bottom line: funky as BEEP, great sound, super intuitive. Yes, it was a loooong wait, but would do it again. And again. For all the doubters: if this is what a scam looks like, scam me any day of the week, please!

Do not buy a miniot wheel! We placed our order in 2019. We send out Reminder-Mails but didn`t get any feedback. Didn`t get our order till today (waiting 4 years). Can`t belive we spent so much money for nothing. hopefully they wills end out our wheel as soon as possible.... No contact number avilible, only a Info-Mail-adress.

3 years waiting for the delivery. Ordered the original Wheel. Do not trust

Do not buy anything from Miniot and owner Peter Kolkman. Miniot is a scam.

I backed the Wheel turntable project back in 2017 and Peter has been lying since then. Over 70 updates with a lot of excuses and no real timeline for deliver.

Peter even wrote that they can’t and won’t deliver my turntable. Unless I pay additional 150 euro on top of the 628 euro I paid in 2017.

At the same time they won’t do a refund.

Miniot and Peter Kolkman ignored the European Consumers Union and told me that the only way I could get anything is by a lawsuit.

Miniot collected over 425.000 euro from the backers in 2017 and are still selling preorders at the website.

Do not buy anything here. I have placed my order via the website in january 2020, the delivery date according to the website would have been Q2 2020, but now almost 3 years later I am still awaiting my product. When I email them to ask when my product will be delivered, they simply do not reply. Social media is full with people that are awaiting their order, up till 5 year. Total discrace.

Trying to sell products even though they (contrary to what they have promised for 5 years) haven’t delivered to the Kickstarter backers that financed their business.
I’ve backed their original product, but now they have developed a new product (in parallel) and we backers have to pay 300 euros (on top of what we already have paid) to get the upgrade.
I do not recommend doing business with this company.
