Minimodev Technologies, LTD offers a QR Code & Barcode scanner app for the Iphone. They have a seven day free trial period. I never used it because I found out that the Iphone camera can also read QR codes. I deleted the app from the App library. When I started receiving $10.99 a week charges, I checked it out. I found out that I had to delete the app from my subscription under Settings. My bad. Since I don't use that particular credit card for anything else, I didn't check the statement for a month. That's when I came to find out that i was being billed weekly. So why the rating? I was automatically put on the high tier subscription without my knowledge. Eleven dollars a week? Seriously? I didn't see any fine print. As it is, they had a low tier charge of $2.99 per week. So, why didn't they put me on that? I filed a complaint with Apple, which was denied. So just a warning to others about the subscription trap. The company should at least send a notice when the paid subscription begins.
