Excellent discussion and a great Topic. One that must be on the minds of all parents who grew up without handheld devices.

Mindhamok is a great service. This service helped me a lot when I was going through my study abroad program. I just wish it was available for students who aren't in study abroad programs and that it is available internationally for regular college students because it has great counselors.
As a provider, the experience with mindhamock has been smooth and professional. I enjoyed working with them and will keep doing so.
I worked with Mindhamok as a Counsellor and I don't hesitate in recommending the organisation, for both therapists and students. I mostly liaised with Mabel and she was supportive, responsive and friendly through out our interactions. I found Mindhamok to be professional and easy to work with, they provided all the information I needed and invoices were paid promptly.
I worked with Mindhamok over the course of a 5 month semester abroad in London (hail originally from Southern California). My interactions were primarily with Tiziana, the CEO, who was very prompt and responsive to my inquiries. My interactions with Tiziana were always positive, and she set up meetings with several therapists for me to see which would be best to suit my needs. When one or another didn't work out on first impression, she was quick to offer up alternatives based on my feedback, and I ended up with two therapists meeting weekly that were greatly helpful to my mental health throughout an otherwise difficult time.
Student’s mental health was something that I hadn’t ever seen being talked about in the media or even at university, but upon coming across mindhamok and their fresh approach to student mental health, it’s made me – as a student – so grateful that there’s a platform we can look to for advice and effective redirection. The ‘knowledge-base’ section on their website has incredibly accessible content that connects to the struggles of being a student with regard to issues like the pressures of drinking at university, stress of exams and coping with living independently for the first time. Their podcast series have been my personal favourite since they give an insight from fellow university students on their experiences as well as their Instagram page which gives realistic tips that can be applied into our everyday routine.
I'm the European Operations Manager for Accent Global Learning, which is an education provider with centers in Italy, Spain, France and the UK. We handle all aspects of the study abroad journey, from academics to housing, cultural integration to health, safety and well being. We have partnered with mindhamok (formerly known as Mondo Equilibrio) for over 4 years and can highly recommend them. Thousands of students have studied on Accent programs over these years and all have had access to the mindhamok support available through counseling helplines, live chat, therapist referral, case management services and supportive content. mindhamok has also been an invaluable resource in helping us manage all aspects of critical incidents as and when they have occurred, staying engaged with us every step of the way, guiding and advising on the psychological impact of traumatic events, sending specialist therapists on-site to work with individuals, groups, families liaison and management, delivering difficult news as well as training staff and faculty in each of our European location
Mindhamok provides a brilliant opportunity to improve student wellbeing and student mental health. It’s a fantastic service that uses a holistic approach and sees students as individuals, rather than simply a collective. The podcasts and posts demonstrate a new level of accessibility that prioritises student perspective and allows our needs to become the forefront.
My favourite things that Mindhamok create are the podcasts and the knowledge base. The most interesting podcast for me was titled ‘Climate Anxiety’. I really appreciate that Mindhamok focus on issues which are most important to young students right now, such as the climate emergency and sexual assault on campus. The outlook Mindhamok has upon climate change especially really validates the experiences and fears that young people face right now and the way that they can impact mental health, which I personally think is an issue that is currently overlooked by within psychotherapy today. The articles are also great because they’re concise and quick to read, and genuinely offer really good advice that students need, such as how to be there for anxious friends.
Overall, I also really like that Mindhamok takes a more holistic view of mental wellbeing, which emphasises the impact which exercise and food can have on your mental health.

One of my favourite things about being a student ambassador for mind hamok definitely has to be the friendly warm community of students from around the country, which has allowed me to make loads of new friends! I have really enjoyed creating content, especially my cooking live stream event, which was definitely a success. I have found it to be really rewarding promoting student wellbeing whilst simultaneously learning new skills (e.g. using canva) which will definitely help me in the future.

I have been following mindhamok's content for a while now and I really enjoy the services they provide, especially their events and social media. The unique thing about mindhamok is that they really take an interest in what students need and feel, it's not like a lot of companies you see nowadays. They ask students and their ambassadors to get involved in conversations and I think this provides them with proper insights as to what students are going through in order to help them accordingly. I really enjoy their services and can't wait to see what we have planned as a community going forward.
