I’ve worked with Toby and Brooklyn over the past several months to support the development of our EDI strategy, and I’ve been really pleased with the experience and the outcomes.
From the outset, Toby brought a thoughtful and practical approach. He helped us gather meaningful insights from our people, translate those into a clear strategy, and engage our leadership team and trustees constructively.
What stood out most for me was how Toby works. He creates a space where you can be yourself, think openly, and be challenged in a supportive way. Through our conversations, I’ve noticed a real shift in my own leadership style. I’m more curious, more reflective and more confident in how I approach EDI across the organisation.
The workshops have been particularly effective, especially in building confidence across teams and creating the right conditions for open conversations. We’ve seen a positive shift in how people feel about engaging with EDI topics, which is exactly what we were aiming for.
Overall, Toby has been a trusted partner throughout this work. He combines expertise with a very human approach, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other organisations looking to make meaningful progress in this space.

We worked with Brooklyn on a session titled “Help: I’m Scared of Saying the Wrong Thing” and the feedback across the business was really positive. Attendance was strong, and the session struck exactly the right balance between being engaging, practical, and genuinely useful.

Toby delivered a fantastic workshop for our members recently on Inclusive Strategy design for SME HR Managers and Senior Leadership. His content, delivery and style showed a high level of experience, expertise, insights and professionalism. The entire group was highly engaged with lots of insightful discussion and follow-up. Toby is an incredible speaker who I'd highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.

We contacted Mildon to host a ‘Help: I’m Scared of Saying the Wrong Thing’ online session to kick off our first ever Inclusion Week. We were shocked at the level of attendance, the engagement was fantastic, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We also saw a 69% uplift in confidence after the session, which really shows the impact it had on our people. Thanks again for sharing your expertise and creating such a safe, valuable learning space for the team.

We recently worked with Mildon on a neurodiversity-focused training session and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The session was very well received and struck a great balance between interactive activities and clear, accessible content.
The facilitator was personable and professional, and created a comfortable environment where people felt able to engage openly. Everything ran smoothly on the day, from set up to delivery.
What really stood out was the impact after the session. The team independently created an internal “ways of working” document to help us collaborate more inclusively, directly inspired by the training. It was refreshing to see learning translate so clearly into practical action.
We also really appreciated the follow-up from the Mildon team and would happily work with them again in the future.

Working with Brooklyn has been such a joy!
She delivered an amazing workshop for our DEI team at Astrid & Miyu, focused on conscious inclusive action and the SEEDS model, something we’ve continued to come back to and actively implement.
Brooklyn and Toby also invited us to an end-of-year DEI event, which gave us so much insight and was such a lovely way to connect with others doing similar work.
Really looking forward to working with Brooklyn and Toby again in 2026 ✨

We reviewed many speakers for this event and spent a lot of time choosing who would speak. We wanted someone who could share relatable, day-to-day experiences and focus on how we can help each other.
Toby brought the perfect blend of professional background and EDI experience, with the added credibility of having worked with big names like Deloitte. That made the session really relatable to our team.
The talk was insightful, and all our questions were answered thoughtfully. Toby clearly understood what we needed: sensitivity to the fact that we are new to this as a business, and a request to give us the basics. He delivered exactly that, with warmth and clarity.
Toby was personable, open, and created an environment where people felt safe to contribute.

We worked with Mildon on a full-day, tailored EDI Strategy workshop, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The session felt fresh, inclusive, and genuinely engaging – not another "what is EDI" presentation, but something much more thoughtful and action-focused. People loved the facilitation, the creative approach, and the safe space that was created. Even those who’ve attended several similar sessions said they learned something new.
The prep materials and communication were brilliant, and the workshop felt bespoke to our needs – nothing off-the-shelf. Toby’s facilitation, alongside his lived experience, brought a powerful and real-world perspective that resonated with everyone. Highly recommended if you’re looking for strategic, practical, and people-centred EDI support.

We worked with Mildon to deliver a full-day, tailored EDI Strategy workshop for LDA Design in March 2025.
From the start, the session felt relaxed, open, and engaging. There was a genuine feeling of safety, the team felt at ease and ready to contribute. The workshop was cleverly designed around questions, not just agenda headlines, which helped create a genuine dialogue and encouraged deeper thinking.
The pre-workshop materials and short video were a great touch, they helped people feel prepared and sparked early engagement. Mildon distilled our aims into a focused, well-paced day that really hit the mark.
We appreciated how the day was structured, the thoughtful use of tools like Mentimeter, and the way the workshop aligned EDI with our broader goals.
The feedback from our team was overwhelmingly positive. If you're looking for inclusive, strategic EDI support, we’d highly recommend working with Mildon.

We asked Mildon to run a webinar on disabililty inclusion for Redgate Software's 2024 diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) program. This was a fantastic session for our global audience of technology professionals, with strong engagement from our attendees, most of whom left feeling better prepared to collaborate with individuals with disabilities in the workplace following this event.
Working with Mildon to plan this session was straightforward, with an introductory call to scope out the request as well as a followup meeting to discuss impact and reception. They delivered the engagement to a very high standard that exceeded our expectations.
I would thoroughly recommend working with Mildon on this type of project, and would have no reservations about working with them again in future.

Brooklyn was a speaker on one of our EDI Conferences. The event was a big, sold out London conference, and she run one of the morning sessions on language in EDI. She is an absolutely fantastic and captivating speaker, and the audience really enjoyed her session and found it really informative and valuable. Moreover, Brooklyn was asked last minute to join our panel session on recruitment, and she did so with no hesitation :) she did a fantastic job there too, bringing a lot of valuable knowledge and perspectives into the conversation. I highly recommend Brooklyn as a speaker for both small and big events, we will definitely be wanting to work with her again! :)

Mildon have been exceptional from the start. Brooklyn, Toby and Luis have all been proactive in our conversations and the help they have offered us at St Paul’s Catholic School in Leicester. Luis came to deliver a talk for our school during our Diversity Week and it was described staff and students as a stand out session due to his openness, honesty and humour. Students were impressed with how interactive and thought provoking Luis’s session on disability Inclusion was and this has encouraged us to take an active role in making sure our school is more inclusive. We have been supported by Luis and the team in our endeavours to reach a wider audience of parents in our location and our journey is not over yet. It has never been so easy to work with an organisation. I am so pleased to be in touch with Mildon and I highly recommend their services when it come to inclusion in the workplace.
