I went there to get a heater hose…
I went there to get a heater hose replaced and i bought the hose. to switch out you only need to release 2 quick connects and one clamp you can remove with screwdriver repair took 15 minutes they charged me $413. overheard them on phone telling some else that had brought car in for minor repair and they told them we think because we cleaned whatever it was the increase pressure resulted in something else going out and it would be another 600 to fix. A guy walked in and said i thought jokingly watch for him man he a crook. they are stay away
I was at the Midas ( 123 Murfreesboro…
I was at the Midas ( 123 Murfreesboro Road in Nashville Tn. Mr Eric and his crew took very good care of me and my vehicle. Unfortunately I did have some issues with my vehicle repair, but Eric was very knowledgeable about what was going on with my vehicle. He offered to take care of it personally and was kind enough to explain what needed to be done to fix the problem. He also apologized for what had happened and how long it took to repair the problem. I have been coming to this Midas over a decade now.
Midas broke my new transmission pan…
Midas broke my new transmission pan seal. Midas broke my new shocks and new struts both front and back. When I returned, they were not professional. They interrogated me about a bad review that obviously another customer wrote. They overfilled my transmission fluid. When they replaced my pan seal. When they changed my CV axle, they left my fluid so low that it created transmission shudder. After I left, my new intake manifold seal was broken.
They broke my new transmission seal then replaced it with too much fluid. Replaced my new cv axle and didn't replace fluid, leaving it low, causing a transmission shudder. All 4 new shocks and struts are now broken. They broke the seal on my new intake manifold.
They have a lot of bad reviews. They use carfax reports on customer cars to track where customers take their cars. Then they destroy the parts, sometimes in affiliation with the other shop owners. They benifit from recieving more money to fix parts under labor for warranties. They have an F rating and zero cases resolved with the Better Business Bureau. 1023 N Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805
Stay far away from this Midas location
Stay far away from this Midas location. I brought my car in to find an A/C leak and was told I had to pay for an A/C recharge before they could even look for the issue. Fine — I paid. Then I was charged again just for them to actually diagnose the leak. They sent me home with a completely empty A/C system and promised to refill it after the leak was fixed.
Well, I fixed the leak myself and went back, only for them to refuse to refill the A/C — even though I already paid for it. So basically, I paid them to drain my system, tell me there was a leak (duh), and leave me worse off than when I came in.
Dishonest, money-grabbing, and completely unprofessional. If you value your time, money, or car, go literally anywhere else. Midas might “touch everything,” but in my case, they touched my wallet and did nothing in return.
Do not take your vehicle here unless…
Do not take your vehicle here unless you want to be up charged 90% then have the same issue a year later. They are crooks. Keith the owner of the Brantford location won’t return calls and Jeremy the receptionist is a crook.
Brought car in for an oil change and…BEWARE. DISHONEST MANAGER AND TECHNICIAN.
Brought car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The technician apparently torched the lug nuts and rims on two wheels to get the tire off. The rims are ruined. The manager, after taking a lot of time to come up with a story, said that someone was trying to steal my tires and used a torch to remove the lug nuts. Been in touch with Midas Corporate office without any results. The repair estimate is close to $1,000. Have to take issue to small claims court.
Tried new store for oil change-up sell
Tried new store for oil change. All I got was up-sell for this and that. Don't use them

Martin and Julie are extremely kind and professional. They understood our problem quickly and fixed my oil leak. This means we can carry on our journey around Brittany. We have fallen in love with Vannes and this only make our experience of Vannes even more positive.
Thank you so much Martin and Julie at Midas Vannes
I came to this Midas for what should…
I came to this Midas for what should have been a simple coolant pressure test, only then was told I need flush, radiator replacement, and two hoses. I was quoted $2,500, which made no sense for the work being done. I’ve had far more work done on my car elsewhere for much less. kept trying to push me to finance good thing I didnt listen
Red flag #1: No one told me what the actual issue was until I arrived. Somehow they already knew I had a leak issue before even checking the car. That was never communicated upfront — it felt shady.
Then when I started asking questions about the pricing, Robert got defensive, telling me it’s not my business to know how much he gets the parts for. Excuse me? As a paying customer, that attitude is unacceptable.
I was also pressured several times to finance the service, which felt more like a sales pitch than honest repair work. Eventually, they gave me $200 back after admitting I was overcharged for labor — which only made me wonder: what else was I overcharged for?
This was a stressful, overpriced, and unprofessional experience. I will never come here again. I’m calling corporate because this is completely unacceptable.
You don’t know what someone is going through mentally or financially. Do better. You reap what you sow. thank you for teaching me a lesson that you car shops are complete scammers make up prices for half as work Address the Midas Cincinnati Ohio e Galbraith location
I really appreciate the great service…
I really appreciate the great service and quality customer service at a great price. Appointment at 830 was done in 20 mins. Keep up the good work
Avoid Midas on route 17North Paramus
Avoid Midas on route 17North Paramus. Like others mentioned, overcharging, incomplete diagnostics, but the work was done the same day.
They replaced my thermostat and radiator fluid for an error code for a battery blower motor.
3 days after the service, my check engine light came on again with the same error code, the engine malfunctioned, so I brought it to my local gas station.
I had a blown #53 fuse caused by an electric motor short.
No need to spend $600 at Midas, which they tried to upsell me on new brakes, which I recently purchased. I told him my brakes are new, so the front desk Manager said, not the brakes, the rotors.
Btw, they do charge $132 just to look at the car.
I returned to Midas to get some type of compensation for the false diagnostics, but that fell on deaf ears.
Live and Learn, I should have read the reviews before rushing to my neighborhood Midas.
Homophobia is real
Midas Case 4346881 – 401 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90813
I had an extremely bad experience at this location. I requested name brand tires like Toyo, Michelin, or Cooper for my corporate F-150, but they installed cheap Sailun tires without my approval. They also dangerously mounted the new tires on different axles, creating a serious safety hazard.
Despite being told the replacement tire would be ready the next day, no one called or texted me. After working a night shift, I showed up exhausted only to be mocked by staff and refused service when I chose to take my business elsewhere.
The manager, Luis, treated me with open disrespect, used homophobic language, and even threatened to call the police — clear discrimination as a Black customer.
I will never return to this Midas location.

I would give a minus 5 stars but no such thing. False advertising. Nothing like the picture. Major Rip-off. Ruuuuuunnn!
customer service is between 1 and 0
I thought he was doing it while I was giving him my email address on the phone, so I called back when I didn't see anything in my emails, , but the person @ this location is telling me he is TOO BUSY to send it by email. Meanwhile I was there a few times in the past, and there is only one customer waiting. This person couldn't be more rude.

Wish I would have read the reviews… keep looking for another auto center
Wish I would have read the reviews before going to Midas Beaverton, OR. Pretty much what all the other reviews say - over priced - either dishonest, price gouging looking to take advantage of a female.
4/10/25 I called three companies to get a quote on rear breaks, for my Ford - Les Schwab $ 616.00 Bassitt $ 650.00 Midas $ 614.00 after the $ 100.00 coupon so their price was actually $ 714.00 I foolishly went there because the guy was funny and the price of $ 614.00 is what I would have paid elsewhere.
While there I made an appointment for a oil change, using their $29.99 coupon for synthetic blend. When I arrived I was told I needed full synthetic which cost $ 30.00 MORE - knowing that I can and have used the blend I stuck to my guns - but they tried to rip me off for an additional $ 30.00 Next I asked for a quote on a new battery ( eco boost ) I was quoted $ 620.00 battery/installation.
I called around for new battery pricing: The Ford dealership turned out to be much cheaper by $242.00 !!
Tonkin Ford Dealership- battery/installed/reset $ 360.00
Landmark Ford Dealership-battery/installed/reset $ 378.00
so.... Midas has a pricing problem. Call around, don't trust their quotes, again they are extremely high for the same services provided elsewhere, or dishonest, price gouging, looking to take advantage or their "customers" this was my first and last visit to Midias Beaverton, OR
Damage and charge for nothing done- avoid
I had the misfortune to choose Midas to attend to an elderly car whose air con didn't work. We were to drive across Australia in high temperatures so this was vital. The office I attended in Brisbane stated that they could not be sure there was no leak but instead of allowing us to choose , did the work ( filling the aircon canister I presume under pressure) and charged us around $200 + tax. Not merely across the Nullabor did the air con fail pumping out hot air but in getting into the engine space they disconnected the car/radio dvd player which was equally essential for us in the car with no data in remote areas. What was meant to be a good spend , we were charged for a non functioning air con and damage to our radio. Never again. To fix the radio would be excessive and utterly redundant now we are settled in Perth
Midas take your money and don’t fix…
Midas take your money and don’t fix anything. I’m living proof. Charged me $2000 and not one thing on the list was fix. This company is a con and especially when they see woman coming.
"Rip-Off" Isn't Nearly Strong Enough
The Midas location at 6021 San Mateo, Albuquerque, NM 87109, charged my wife $700 for a battery, instead of replacing the failed alternator that AutoZone had already diagnosed as the problem.
It was a Saturday, and the battery icon lit up on my wife's Durango. She was 500 miles into a 1300 mile trip, and was alone. On my advice, she went to AutoZone, where they diagnosed it (for free) as a failed alternator. Midas was the only place open on a Saturday, and they said they could replace her alternator, so she went to them. Once there, she asked for the alternator to be replaced, and explained why. Instead, they did their own $170 diagnosis, and said that no, the problem was the 4-year-old AC Delco Gold battery instead. And they said they'd have to remove the front passenger seat from the Durango to replace it. My wife put me on the phone and I told them that I'd personally replaced the battery, easily, without removing the seat.
Regardless, Midas stuck to their claim.
Midas had my wife in a bad position - she has ligament damage in her wrist and could not replace the battery herself - and they milked it for over $700. $260 for the battery, $170 for the (incorrect) diagnosis, $170 to install the battery, and $51 for "shop supplies". That's bad enough, but the real kicker is that after the Durango had run as far as it could on the new battery, she got stranded because the problem was never the battery - it was the alternator, as AutoZone had said. I replaced the alternator, and it permanently fixed the problem (over 1000 miles driven confirms it).
Needless to say, I'm mad as hell about this sorry experience, and I will be pursuing every available avenue to force them to make it right.
Bought four brand new Michelin…
Bought four brand new Michelin Defenders in August. $286/each. It is March and I now have two with nails that can’t be repaired and I have an AWD vehicle. Was told that defenders don’t come with their warranty for nails in tires so they didn’t offer it to me. This I have no recourse but to buy all four tires again (without a warranty). They will give me $30 off each tire. This is ridiculous. I’ll go to Honda and buy them $30 cheaper with a two year warranty against nails in the tire that Honda gives. Thank you but no thanks Midas. WONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
