Wide choice of tyres (including my fave Falken brand), good price, reasonably fast service. I paid online, arrived 10 mins early for a 09:30 slot and was out at 10:10 with 4 new Falkens on well-balanced wheels. Job done. Recommended.

Booked an appointment and paid for tyres online on the Micheldever website for fitting at Bracknell (Protyre/Bracknell Tyre & Battery).
Arrived promptly, as requested, only to be told there was a queue of an hour or more and my appointment was worthless.
They had both my phone number and email so they could have notified me and saved me a trip and them some space to serve other people. However, they chose not to bother...rather having me wait!
After 30mins waiting outside with only one car leaving and none being taken into the workshop (I was, allegedly, number 4 on the list) and only one person actually working, albeit very slowly I decided that the hour was extremely optimistic.
Bearing in mind I had a prior appointment (allegedly) and had already paid for my tyres I find this extremely poor...
I have tried also to call their customer service at head office but (surprise, surprise) they don't answer!

VERY poor service...avoid like the plague!
I'd recommend Sandhurst Tyres as an alternative...maybe a tad more expensive, but they at least stick to appointments!!

Excellent service from Ryan Salmon and his team at the Bellingham fitting centre.

Ordered expensive tyres from Asda and booked an appointment for them to be fitted via their website.

Had a wasted 20 mile round trip and the cost of fuel because Micheldever (who were apparently supplying the tyres on behalf of Asda) could not be bothered to deliver the tyres on time to the selected fitting station, and moreover couldn’t be bothered to let either me (the paying customer), the appointed fitters or Asda know that the tyres would not arrive in time. According to the tyre fitter Asda have become very unreliable in getting tyres to the fitting agents on time, leaving many dissatisfied customers.

Shoddy service all around, and Asda customer services couldn’t give a toss either!

Ordered tyres to be delivered to our workplace. It's a garage with 6 massive doors to drive cars in, which were all fully open. So which door do you think the delivery guy brought the expensive Michelin tyres through? None of them is the answer. He couldn't be bothered and just left them outside. Thanks for that.

I’m sure the tyres are fine however you do need to change your website overview of being ‘primarily focused on the fast fitting of motor vehicles, specialising in tyres etc……’.
We have now been waiting nearly 2 hours - appears to be lots of staff but not changing the tyres. Definitely not fast fitting……

No problem with the product or service but the on-line booking system is misleading. I booked for 9 am on a Saturday but queued for over 1 hour 15 minutes. It was explained to me that the system works better on weekdays when more staff are present, but I think it is misleading to give an appointment time which means little.

Had a small puncture in a rear tyre.
All tyres checked and puncture repaired in quick time.

Callum was very helpful and showed me the puncture and offered me a coffee!!!

I have provided a score of 5 out of 5 due to the great customer service from John. I had a booked a motorbike tyre fitting, not realising that service is not available anymore. John was accommodating and even viewed the website to make the information clearer. I had travelled a considerable distance to get the trye fitted and even further back home.

This company went above and beyond to get my new tyres fitted today. Service was excellent and I recommend them. They were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Thanks you guys, much appreciated

I needed two new front tyres, so went onto their website. The problems started when I posted a question about availability for one specific tyre (which said "contact us") - I've still never had any sort of response. So I booked to get another make of tyre, and booked an installation time. Stupidly I assumed, that as with other businesses, that because I had booked a time that was good for me, that I would bypass the queue of "just turned up" customers. BUT NO! I had to join the same queue, and had to WAIT FOR OVER AN HOUR before my car got to the front of the queue. An hour when I could have done many other things (which is why I booked that time slot!). The time taken to actually fit the tyres wasn't all that quick either: unlike other tyre places, where someone will remove the wheel, take off the tyre, fit / balance the new one, then refit it, at Micheldever Tyres your wheels join a slow queue of other wheels to be processed. Ok, so the Goodyear Tyres are fine, but they would have been just as good if I'd gone elsewhere, and not had to sit around wasting my time. Clearly the "time booking system" is for THEIR convenience, not yours! I won't bother with them again.

Recovered to Micheldever Tyres having hit a pothole nearby. Tyre beyond repair and alloy damaged. Wheel repaired and tyre replaced within 45 minutes and help given 2 days later to complete insurance claim form. Brilliant in all respects.

Terrible service worst company I've ever done business with don't care about customers at all , management very obnoxious would definitely avoid at all costs!!

VERY Disappointing Service Experience!

I have been a loyal customer for over eight years and have generally received good service. However, my recent experience has been far from satisfactory.

I booked my car in for a replacement tyre and an MOT. While the tyre replacement was fine, the fitting of the wheel weights was subpar.

My car is in excellent condition with low mileage for its age. Unfortunately, the MOT resulted in a failure on two points: inoperative left rear suspension and exhaust emissions. I can confirm that the suspension is fully operational, and the emissions test was conducted using incorrect data, as the car’s emissions are within acceptable limits.

I reported the poor service to the area manager, providing video evidence that the car’s systems are functioning correctly. I also obtained and followed the proper testing procedures, filming the process for reference. Initially, the area manager agreed with my assessment, but his attitude changed completely within 24 hours.

My recent experience with Bathwick/Protyre has been disappointing, marked by a poorly managed branch, rude staff, and an unsatisfactory performance from the newly appointed area manager.

If you have a vehicle more complex than a Morris Minor, I would recommend avoiding this branch.

Really great service and price. Had expected to have to buy a new tyre, but was able to have it repaired instead.

AVOID!! AVAOID!!
I took my car there with a brand-new set of alloys to be put on the car (still in the boxes). When I arrived for the work to be done the man taking the details was very pleasant but then I was introduced to the "Technician" who would be "looking after me".

While they were taking my old alloys off and fitting the new ones I twice had to go out into the forecourt and ask them to treat my car with a bit of respect. The "Technician" fitting my tyres was trying to yank the tailgate to close even though it's a power-assisted tail gate.

The boxes that my new alloys came in I asked if I could save these and have them put on the back of the car. Obviously, the instructions in English weren't good enough for the zombie-brained "technician" who decided he would just rip them apart, and place them in my boot. Now I have pieces of cardboard rather than boxes.

After inspecting the alloys before leaving, they have damaged the front alloy and there is a lovely mark in the lacquer.

On returning home and removing the old alloys, I now find that they have also lost one of the centre caps.

They have said via a phone call they will give me the money to replace the centre cap, and the money to get the wheel refurbished. This isn't how I would have liked this experience to have gone.

I won't be using this tyre place again.

I previously contacted my local garage to have a wheel alinement undertaken and was informed that it would cost £98.99. Unhappy with the their response on the cost seeing I have my vehicle serviced there and having a maintenance plan.
I contacted Micheldever tyres and went to the garage. The service was excellent, I needed to new front tyres as they were heavily worn and steering tracking was undertaken too. The service was impeccable as was the cost. Two new tyres and steering sorted out for £220.00 . Amazing value. Will definitely use again

Had to make an emergency stop as the under tray to our car was falling off on the motor way. They were able to assist us straight away and didn’t have to wait long for someone to come and check the car. Rob who saw us was amazing and fixed it in no time. Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!
