I love the Skin Shield coverage - I only need a pump and a half and I can cover my face, neck and ears. And that amount effectively covers my dark spots and redness. It blends super easily, I never have to go over an area more than once. The brush that came with my foundation is incredible - soft, effective, no fallout. The finish is a little too dewy for me, but I pat my t-zone with a translucent powder afterwards and it's fine. Pump leaks after use, even with the cap secured. Order fulfillment was quick but shipping transit time was slow. Overall, though, very happy!

The products really do work, and the customized treatment plan is really helpful. After desperately trying to find a solution to my newfound hormonal acne, I signed up for Methodiq and saw results within 3 weeks. There was definitely some purging, but all in all some solid products and good reasoning behind them all. I got the Skinshield foundation and had an excellent shade match (it’s the science behind Il Makiage). What I’m dismayed about is the lack of communication with a real provider when you have a skincare question or when you want to make modifications to your treatment. Otherwise, I will keep up with them for a while.

The foundation is AWESOME! I’d rate an 8.5 (for my skin). It is super moisturizing and gives me a dewy look. (I am 53 - but I still have combination skin with hormonal acne around my chin and jawline.) I have to apply more than one layer due to acne scars and some dark spots but it masks them great; reminds me of a really good tinted moisturizer, but with more opaque to it. This stuff stays on my face during rigorous workouts; it does tend to hang on to my dry skin and not look perfect after my sweat, but that’s the same with all foundations. I do find I need to blot/reapply about halfway through the day, but it is worth it, knowing I have something working against my acne.

I was not impressed with the concealer though. I thought it’d be thicker than the foundation, so I could just use that quickly, instead of full face. Also the applicator is a doe foot shape, but metal, so you need to use a tool or your finger to blend it (a slight annoyance - esp if you’re on the go). ~Honestly, if you just use some extra foundation, that does the trick.

Honestly, the quiz is pretty accurate. I think I'm a fair red/pink tone, and I got shade 60, which is yellow at first but blends out perfectly.

I was skeptical about the shade match but when I tried the foundation the match was PERFECT! I like the coverage and the healthy look it gives my skin. It’s not heavy or cakey and it blends really nice. The brush is great too.

It’s only been a few days, but so far I’m loving the quality of product & brush & face wipes. Great buildable foundation. No breakouts, as of yet! Only complaint is the pump on foundation gets clogged easily & takes many pumps to get any out of bottle.

This product, I feel, did help me with my acne, especially because I work in surgery and the surgical mask gives me more acne. My only issue is that the product is a bit oily, so I had to use press powder. Other than that, it does help and has helped me with my comodones, which were driving me crazy!

Im never happy with makeup and end up never using products because they don’t match, have a terrible finish or irritate my very reactive skin, but this skin shield is amazing! It took 3 tries to get my
Color exact but man the 3rd time was PERFECT! The finish is so natural and looks like super healthy skin and it doesn’t break me out or cause a reaction with my eczema! 10 out of 10!!

This product was incredibly easy to use and came with clear instructions. As a 68-year-old man with sun spots, I was pleasantly surprised when it immediately reduced my pigmentation. I’m thoroughly satisfied with the product and would definitely purchase it again.

I recently ordered a foundation for a free trial. I wished the trial was longer, so I could see how my skin adapted to the foundation. Overall, I liked the consistency and the shade as it matched my skin tone well. The coverage was decent and was buildable. The finish was somewhat dewy and slightly oily and shiny. I had not tried using a setting powder but I might consider it if I used it in a more humid or warmer climate.

very user friendly site. i was able to order and pause easily. i like the product very much, the shade wasn't quite right for cover up but the texture and coverage was great, skincare meds were perfect and exactly what i needed.

Saw this product on Facebook from an actress I love and decided to try it. I have some redness and aging skin. From the beginning the color match was so easy and matched me perfectly. The feel and texture of the product doesn’t sink into my fine lines and wrinkles and just gives me a little more confidence that I’ve been needing with the evened out skin tone it provides without being heavy or caking my skin. I feel like my skin can still truly breathe. Great product. Will return!!

This is the best foundation I’ve tried. I’m 35 with combo skin. I have occasional light breakouts & the errant cystic acne pimple but nothing too crazy, so the acne prevention wasn’t a determining factor - I just saw how beautiful the finish looked in ads & was surprised at the positive Reddit reviews. The color match exceeded my expectations right out of the gate. The finish is as advertised IMO - I’d say it’s a medium to full coverage depending on application (I prefer medium). It blends beautifully & doesn’t settle into pores or fine lines. Time will tell if it improves my already-occasional breakouts, but since that’s not why I purchased, I can say I’m already a believer!

It arrived fast and the packaging was great. The products are nice but I’m not sure if it’s working and it’s week two I think

I was really skeptical about this product because it was being heavily advertised on my TikTok and instagram so I finally caved in. I am a 39 y/o asian woman that has acne, redness, hyperpigmentation and some lines. I have used all sorts of products and I was extremely pleased with the results. My skin hasn’t looked this good in decades. It was fast results. I wasn’t sure if the AI scan would work but I am 100% satisfied with the results! I highly recommend this for everyone!

The skin shield foundation is so amazing. It looks so smooth and radiant on my 44 year old skin, and doesn't settle into my fine lines. It goes on easily and blends so nicely on my skin. It also covers all of my darks spots and uneven skin.

I ordered a foundation shade that was not the right match, and they immediately fixed the issue and sent me the correct shade for no extra cost!

The color quiz was great. Matched perfectly. My skin was literally clearing from the first use.
