It sucks!!! Just what I want it to do. Actually got myself a new one and now have one upstairs and downstairs. Such a good buy and the price is great. Got both of mine in costco over the years and just love how easy it is to empty. Takes up such a small amount of space. Surprisingly powerful and so easy to use on the stairs

Great cleaner lightweight and easy to use

This has to be one of the best vacuum cleaners I’ve ever had. It’s so light to push and really picks up all the dirt on my hard floors and carpets. I love the fact I can take off the long handle and use the hand held base in my car - amazing! Would strongly recommend. Great value for money

Had my Merlin vac for a few days now . Purchased at the caravan show NEC .It is so easy to use , lightweight ( I have a bad back and can’t lift anything too heavy ) and best of all the pick up is excellent for a small vacuum cleaner.
Would not hesitate in recommending it to anybody who needs a new vacuum or a lightweight addition to their existing vacuum.

Bought this little vac at Costco recently for my elderly mother. She absolutely loves it as it is so light and easy to manage which means she doesn't have to rely on people as much to clean her house. And for the price you can't go wrong. A welcome addition. The gentleman was very helpful and told me everything and more that I needed to know

Really impressed with the Merlin Mini Vacuum. I mainly bought it for carpets and it’s genuinely great at pulling up dust, fluff and hair that bigger vacuums seem to miss. Super light, easy to use, and quick to empty. I’ve ended up using it far more than I expected.

I've just stumbled on this review and I can't believe the low score. Something has to be up.
I saw this at The Ideal Home Show last spring and saw the lady doing a very impressive demonstration.
I don't normally buy straight away but for £50-£60 I thought "what the heck" and gave it a go at that price you couldn't go wrong.
It's only 2k and goes from an upright and in a second you've got a hand held, I got it for the car and my stairs. Well, you could knock me down with a feather, it's blooming brill. Loads of power and gets up my cat Leo's hair from the stairs he sits on in a jiffy, so I tried it on the sofa, then all of a sudden I'm doing a full on Spring Clean, I even done those annoying cobs webs I've been meaning to get.
Now here's the problem, My Mum loves and wants one, so does my mother in law, also friends and a couple of colleagues. I need a few.... Costco do them for £50 all in, however the Ideal Home Show is on very soon, so I'm going to wait till I get there. I know that the Mums will like them and you've gotta give them something nice to say for once.

I brought mine at the ideal home show and it’s absolutely awesome makes life so much easier and makes vacuuming a enjoyable to do as it literally picks up everything

Terrific, just terrific. Finally found a hoover that’s versatile, lightweight and aesthetically just stunning! Let me tell you, Merlin isn’t merely a wizard, it’s a hoover!

There are vacs and then there is the Merlin vac!! Don’t buy any other vac, this if the vac for you. Love it. I use it every day especially when the house is messy

It is totally rubbish! For a start it is quite heavy and cumbersome to use. But the biggest thing is that it won't pick up pet hair on carpet. Goodness knows how the demonsator guy fools us into thinking it does because trying it on 2 different carpets i had to go over and over and over it and still it wasn't clean!
I am disgusted. It's in the bin!

Bought the new 'pro' Merlin vacuum cleaner two years ago after the previous older model conked out after six years of great service. The new one however is supposed to have a bigger motor but the design is flawed. The motor gets hot after 3-4 minutes of use and triggers the sensor which stops the motor from running. So I have to wait a good 20 mins for it to cool down and start again. I contacted Merlin within the two year warranty period and sent the motor in for them to examine. it was sent back as 'normal' and I was told the cleaner was just for small spillages, not for cleaning a two-bed flat! Further emails pointing out that that's not what their marketing literature says, have gone unanswered. So now, it takes me over 2 hours to clean my 2-bed flat when i was previously able to do so within 45 minutes. Not happy!

Don't Buy, Bought this hoover a few days ago, it supposed to pick up a bowling ball it won't even pick up hair off my cat or small little things up, and they said send it back but its going to cost about £10 to £15 to send it. They should collect it with it being faulty or send me a free returns postage label and send a refund. It,s better people know before buying one.!! The manufacturer sent a free return label and hopefully a refund. 5 days have gone since I sent it back and Still waiting for a refund ???Got refund back now.

Bought this hoover three weeks ago and it’s already broken. It’s lost its suction power despite cleaning the filter after every use. The clip has broken that holds the waste compartment onto the handle. Very disappointed.

Simple straightforward purchase. Fast delivery. Lovely lightweight vacuum. Cleans better than my big heavy vacuum. And a good price.

I depend on this vacuum cleaner, it is the only one I can use since becoming disabled. The last package I got via Amazon did not include the coloured wheel unit, which is easier to use than the black one that swivels around uncontrollably when you are attempting to push it. I therefore had to contact Merlin directly to get the coloured wheel unit. Please do not discontinue the coloured wheel unit as it is currently designed, it is easier for disabled people to use.
