Used Mercia Electrical through Clever…
Used Mercia Electrical through Clever Energy Midlands for a solar and battery install. Found them to be very patient, professional and helpful. Right from the first call Brandon explained things clearly and was always available to answer any queries. I received other quotes, but decided to go with Mercia, as they were not pushy, patient and very helpful. The installers were great and did a good clean tidy install within a week and no issues since, everything is working as it should be. More than happy to recommend and use again.

After replacing our roof and installing solar panels, we needed to have the panels removed again to complete additional roofing work. I am extremely satisfied with Mercia Electrical. Great Company
I already had two quotes from national companies when I sent an enquiry to CompareSolar.co.uk. They sent three recommendations to me, one of which was for Mercia Electrical. I followed up with each company and found Mercia the easiest to deal with and although not the cheapest, they were very competitive and knowledgeable.
I chose them and from signing the agreement to delivering the system, everything went to schedule. I had a couple of minor teething troubles with the initial configuration of the Powerwall but everything was resolved quickly and the system has been operating to specification ever since. The Powerwall logic takes care of everything so it really is a fit and forget system.
A big thank you to the whole team from sales to installation to support, everyone has a great attitude and is a pleasure to deal with.

I was nervous going into this,so many solar companies out there, and it’s hard to know who to trust. But Mercia have been spot on. Brandon came out, took the time to explain everything clearly, no pressure, just straight answers. Top bloke.
The install team were brilliant ,professional, tidy, and polite. I always clock the vans when trades turn up, and theirs were immaculate. That tells you a lot about how they run things.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. These lads know their business, they treat you and your home with respect, and they understand you’ve worked hard for your money. Proper professionals, and genuinely decent people.

The Customer care team was brilliant and i had fantastic experience with team member Mr.Brandon Towner who had explained me each step and guide me how the system worked. A very truthworthy company
Had a fantastic experience with everyone I dealt with at Mercia, for the install of solar panels and battery. There professionalism is second to none. You're made to feel very welcome and you immediately realise they know what they're talking about and won't give you a load of crap or try to rip you off.
From initial inquiry to full install and more importantly follow up, you certainly feel in safe hands.
It's quite a big decision to entrust someone with the roof of your house, and I can honestly say I made the right choice.

Excellent advice and Install of Solar Panels
Having decided to go down the more Eco route for energy supply and driving, we approached Mercia Electrical, as a local company, for a quote for supply and installation of solar panels. We knew nothing about systems, how big a battery we would need, how many panels, or which system was best to install.
Brandon was invaluable in explaining to us lay people how the different systems worked and advising on the most suitable for us to have.
We live in a rural area and needed planning, and Brandon helped with drawing up plans to submit for the planning application after a site visit. We chose an EcoFlow system with the help of an app and a tablet screen, which provides detailed information on how the system is working and a large battery and inverter. We also paid extra for the bird netting to stop pigeons nesting under the panels. The panels are also a solid black, so they blend into our dark grey slate roof, and are not obtrusive to look at.
On the installation day (we didn't have to wait long once planning had been agreed), George, Kenzie and Kyle arrived promptly, listened to me (an over-fussy person when it comes to visible cables) and efficiently installed the system to our specification, all cables hidden. They were all super friendly and professional.
Once we were up and running, Brandon advised on selling the unused electricity generated back to our energy supplier. This will generate a nice bonus at the end of the year for us. Our energy bills are now super low, even with the addition of charging an electric car.
The whole process has been straightforward. A big thank you to the whole team at Mercia. I would thoroughly recommend them if you are looking at installing solar panels or if you require advice.

Great engagement from start to finish; simple process, installation team were good, and even when there was a minor problem with the subcontractors for the scaffolding that was dealt with quickly and thoughtfully. Great team and so far a great product.

Panels and Battery…
We had our panels and battery installed in April. Brandon was really helpful when designing the system and providing quotes. The installation went smoothly and everything was left tidy. Not had any issues in the 4 months since installed.

I can honestly say its one of the best decisions we have made. We always wanted to get get solar panels installed at our home but the cost always seemed restrictive. Could not be happier
From the initial phone call to the full installation and after care, I can honestly state that I could not be any happier with Mercia electrical.
The system installed is better than predicted with nearly 500KW/h of electric exported back to the grid in May alone. This pays for both my electric and gas bill, putting money back into my account whilst charging an electric car.
Great service, great price, great people.
