I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent experience I had while attempting to cancel my subscription to Mentordial.com.

A month ago, I made the decision to cancel my subscription through the Mentordial.com website. I followed the cancellation procedure as outlined on your website, but to my dismay, the cancellation did not go through successfully. Concerned about the situation, I also filled out the contact form on your website to notify your team about my cancellation request.

To my astonishment, I later discovered that my credit card had been charged for the subscription amount despite my efforts to cancel it. This was a major inconvenience and disappointment, as it is clear that your website's cancellation process was not functioning correctly. I am certain that I am not the only customer who faced this issue.

In my attempt to address this matter promptly, I called Mentordial.com's customer support hotline on 9/25/2023, hoping for a swift resolution. However, I was met with a disheartening response. The customer support representative I spoke to was uncooperative and bluntly informed me that my subscription amount could not be refunded. This response is baffling, as it is clear that your website was experiencing technical difficulties with the cancellation process, and the support team was well aware of this issue, given the influx of similar complaints from other customers.

I would like to emphasize that I followed the instructions provided on your website diligently, which included using the website's cancellation feature and sending a message through the website's contact form. Despite this, I was still charged for the subscription.

I find this situation highly disappointing, and I believe it reflects poorly on your subscribers and the overall user experience provided by Mentordial.com. I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves and provide a prompt resolution.

Great experience! I had the opportunity to find a couple of highly professional mentors. It's important to allow some time for a warm-up during the first meeting, but if you come prepared with a well-crafted request, I'm confident you'll receive a wise answer.

Or a wise question at least.

A modest fee and voila! Access to industry experts who've travelled many roads and bring excellent lessons from that experience.

The Mentordial mentors are often at key positions in industries and moreso, they've found where the pitfalls are too.

Fantastic product management mentors that have provided detailed insights into my career and skillset. Mentors are high quality for the PM space and have been reliable. It's refreshing to meet skilled PMs willing to mentor and share experiences and help guide you with issues creating roadblocks.

Mentordial has been a simple, accessible, and valuable service for expanding knowledge about product professionals and norms of the field. I like the range of people and experiences that are available. I'm still getting used to the service, in order to know how best to leverage the higher-rate mentors. I think there's some practice, or guidance, to prepare for the time together in mentorship, and maximize it.

Worth every cent. Was able to get mentorship from people that I would have never met if not for mentordial.

Excellent mentors who are helpful and engaged. I think the membership program has tremendous value. As a PM this is like gold for, the opportunity to quickly learn from others to then implement at my job. The quality of the mentors is fantastic and their experience is relevant. Excellent customer service - the team is incredibly responsive and works to solve any issues and give advice on how to use the service.

I have been a mentor on mentordial for about a year now and love the service. It gives me the opportunity to connect with many smart people that are just starting out their career. I am very happy when I can connect with a mentee and get the feeling that I am helping. Their is also a cool Slack group to connect with other mentors. A great network.

Great product and very helpful for all users! If you are stuck or want a direction as to how the mentors have excelled and reached the peaks in their respective fields, this is the place to be. You do need to have a curiosity for knowledge and be open to accept your strengths and weaknesses based on the mentors' feedback.

During Covid, I have a hard time getting in touch with mentors. Mentordial changed the dilemma into advantages by offering various mentors and having quality discussions. Mentordial optimized my mentorship experience as much as they could. I'd appreciate it! And I would like to be a mentor at Mentordial to give back to the community in the future.

Great mentors, combined with a clean user experience, and a cheap membership, is a no-brainer. You should join this platform and get amazing mentorship/advice on any subject.

This website is absolutely amazing. I’ve been spending hours and hours sourcing people on upwork and similar site, and then came with a subscription-based model, you can choose top leaders in different areas and all we need to do is to book a time with them. Once I saw how it woks, I immediately subscribed to the yearly plan. The majority of the mentors are included in the plan and some charge from 60 to 370 USD, which is no big deal, since you’re talking to very high experienced people, which you wouldn’t find easily to have a strategic conversation. I had 2 mentorship sessions with amazing people to discuss about my metaverse GoBrunch and highly recommend the service. I really believe MentorDial is the future, not only for people seeking advising, but for hiring professional services in a smart subscription-based model.

Unfortunately, they have no control over the mentors listed, which is why the service standards cannot be met.

I have had issues like; no show, not prepared, and most of the conversations felt like the mentor was just winging it.

I like the idea of the platform [and similar out there], I felt that with monetization - a user can get what they want, but the mentor mentality is something that either has to be coached and followed up on or a host should just have it!
