I have found multiple ways to have fun and meet new people in safe environments on meetup.com! I went on a social hike and to multiple different board game events in the last week and a half.

Angela provides a safe place to share and connect with others. Her years of experience with her spiritual and healing techniques really helps you learn and identify the necessary changes to be made and the growth you have discovered in yourself. I highly recommend attending her events. If you are in a place of needed change to move past your past, hurts. Angela will help you start living the live you were meant to live. With purpose and alignment. Angela also host connection events and works to connect you with others who are in a place of growth and spiritual self worth.

A friendly group, great games, and awesome game masters, plus a cozy restaurant. It’s worth ordering something (drinks and/or food), because then you can play there for free all evening! They didn’t kick us out, even though we were the only guests recently.

I use meetup to connect with people from similar professions to talk about our common struggles and find solutions together!

The team helped by reimbursing me for a service I had purchased by mistake and refunded my very quickly. I was very happy with the way they handled everything, bearing in mind it was my error.

Brought light to many areas in my life and exposed me to people with my current mindset and challenged me on some issues.

Meetup was a great site for about 10 years and then at some point they got greedy, trying to limit features formerly free to behind a paywall, not to mention making it hardly impossibly for free members to use the site without constantly pestering them to sign up for a paid membership.
As a group owner of 10 years, some of the functions meetup threw behind a paywall made the site less than appealing to not only my current members, but potential new members. Even making some aspects of the site now less than safe.
I am actively seeking a suitable replacement.

Enjoyable event meeting friendly, talented people

I've been on the platform since 2005. It has helped me to find groups across nine states through the years, even when just visiting an area for a short period. Meetup.com has been a tremendous partner in supporting my personal growth for over two decades.

I have now met about 8 people through Meetup, and only 1 person would rate 4 stars from me. Everybody else is a FIRM 5 star.

I appreciate this opportunity to find healthy ways to get together with other people. My priorities for social life are simple: I look for ways to be physically active or speak with intelligent people, while avoiding get-togethers where the purpose is drinking too much, eating too much, or sitting and watching other people engage in activities. Meetup.com gives me opportunities to meet active intelligent people. In fact, I travel the world and have used Meetup.com to find groups to join temporarily in other countries in the fields I am interested in.
