Medley is overall a very good site for learning. It encourages active revision and overall good exam technique when answering questions. The AI chatbot is focussed and useful, and as far as I'm aware... See more

i mean it helped quite a bit, but this isnt a full revision replacement you WILL have to still use past papers and revision cards, but still do recommend, also one, thing i dont like, is it looks like too much it stresses you out so watch out for that, but other then that great lots of updates, easy to use kinda, and the ai sometimes makes mistakes,

Great experience helped me to feel confident before doing tests and helps to reconsolidate my knowledge with the extensive resources it provides

I’ve been using medly for about a month now. It’s been great for revising for my A levels! Really helpful with exam technique and immediate feedback that is mark scheme specific. There are also constant updates which greatly improve the features and learning experience.
My only feedback would be that, as a year 12, i feel there should be more past papers available for the AS level exams which would be helpful with revising for mocks and predicted grades. Overall it’s been really helpful so far and hopefully will continue to be next year as well!

Really good and easy to use. Fast marking and helps with questions if dont understand

The platform does help me use and apply knowledge that I have been revising, which is good.
However, the mark scheme is so specific, like with an actual exam mark scheme for GCSE, they would have about 8 possible things you could have said to get the marks for a 4 mark question, yet Medly only accepts very specific 4 points. I also struggle to understand how such open ended questions have only 2 points worth marks, and sometimes, they don’t relate to the question!
Also, the questions on there own require you to know content that is not relevant or exam board specific. For example, I got asked a question on how cardiovascular muscles are arranged in the heart, this was nowhere to be found in the aqa content books.
I also dislike the new feature where it tells you your predicted grade, i am a grade 8-9 student in biology, yet medly tells me I am a grade 4 if I miss one mark.
The website creates a fake sense of insecurity, and stresses me out when I’m not doing well on questions that are really poorly created and marked. The fact is that it promised past paper style questions specific to exam boards, and an AI tutor better than real ones, and it under performed in every single aspect.

Medly has been an amazing website for me to study, especially with ADHD it really helps me hyperfocus thanks to the simplicity and structure of it. The AI marking is very good ! And it leads me to the answer very well without giving it to me so it really helps me to remember. One suggestion that I would give that has posed a lot of trouble for me is that for specifically the IGCSE syllabus for sciences there is no option to filter out triple award content, however for GCSE there is the option for seperate. Overall medly is an amazing site for me to study, I would just really appreciate the ability to filter out triple award content and many of my friends would too. Thank you for reading this message !

Medly has been massively useful for my History and has bumped my grade up from a predicted 6 to a 7! I know it doesn't seem like much but it was a massive milestone for me as someone who really struggles with exam skill so this was great. It offers really good constructive feedback and the exam style practice function is intuitive and easy to use.

AI SLOP DO NOT USE.
When using service quetions were ai genarated and marked. AI Marking was inacurate. AI questions often not inculded in exam board content.
Really helpful and give me a place to find all questions and answers for topics related to me in one place without having to leave the tab.

My daughter loves this website, if it gets her to actually revise then im all for it.

Medly have added the option to have it mark a paper for you and it is the greatest thing it has every added, I think it’s a tad too generous, giving an average of 4 extra marks then I’m due (confirmed by teachers). But that really doesn’t matter, since it compares every question to the specification and gives feedback on what you need work on, it then gives you the lesson plans and what grade your currently at with that topic. Oh my gosh it’s just fantastic.

Would be cool if there was a streak feature or something

I'm updating my review because I have been contacted by customer services. They explained that my email was filtered as spam and they are now working to solve the issue.
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with them because their poor customer service.
While the platform itself has been helpful for my daughter’s studies, the process of cancelling the subscription it is extremely difficult and disappointing. According to their website, there should be a cancellation option within the user profile. However, this option simply does not exist in our account.
As a result, we followed their alternative instructions and contacted their support team via email multiple times. Unfortunately, we have received no response at all. Despite this, they have continued to charge the monthly subscription fee.
It’s very disappointing because the product itself has potential, but the lack of responsive and transparent customer service completely undermines the experience. Customers should not have to chase support just to cancel a subscription.
I would not recommend using this service unless they significantly improve their customer support and make the cancellation process clear and accessible.
Started using it two weeks before my mocks thinking it was too late and still went up two grades in bio, imagine if id started earlier

So my son is working towards his GCSEs in May 2026. AI tools have been a great assistant on his journey but ease of access to information is sometimes not enough to improve marks. Notebook LM and Turbo have been good learning aids but Medly AI has been the best exam practise aid. I have seen a motivation to learn in my son as he works through the questions and picks up on the marking scheme points missed and systematically covers all the topics he needed work on. The app is well thought out and provides targeted practise to help motivate students with visible progression and mark scheme guidance. My son is still a month or so away from his exams but I am already seeing him be more confident and not fearing certain subjects as he did before. Regardless of the actual marks he improves on, I see a happier child excited to learn how to master his exams. If Medly AI can also continue to focus on subconsciously developing that growth mindset, this app will be a game changer in how future students equip themselves to tackle GCSEs and A-Levels and perhaps more. I would like to congratulate the whole Medly AI team on their flagship app and wish them every success in the future. Keep up the great work, much appreciated from a proud dad.
