The MEATBOX AUCKLAND has gone beyond customer service. Our order was delivered to the wrong address. We informed them of this issue and we were asked if we wanted a refund. As this issue was not their fault we declined but complained to NZ POST. to our amazement the MEATBOX replaced our order just in case the meat was ruined in this heat, now that’s customer service

I found nothing nice about the meat received by Meat box
One the steak was tough the mince like chewie the stewing steak after 2 hrs in oven was tough the only one that was ok was the bacon. For £60 a rip off.

Got chicken but was off stank the house out I’m very disappointed as I’ve been ordering the meat box for a while and thought I’d try the chicken boxes I don’t recommend it’s not good people could get very sick

Got the rump tonight it was so chewy and terrible extremely disappointing.
Also free bacon for any review can’t redeem at checkout???

Delivery is on-time and quality is good.

But they short-changed me on the beef. I bought 9 packs of 'Thin Sliced Beef Ribeye Roll' so that I could save on delivery charge, every single one is short of 1 pound, one pack is 1 1/2 oz lighter.

They said they are transparent on weight, DO NOT belive them.

Purchased a three month African Meatbox as a Xmas gift. What was delivered was not as advertised and then no further deliveries. Calls and e-mails remain unanswered. I am out of pocket by two months worth of subscription.

As a regular customer, I feel very disappointed with their customer service. It is so unprofessional to ignore the emails and not be bothered to reply. After buying from them for the last 2 years, even though I was very happy with the quality of the products I had to change the provider.

Easy website to navigate and order from. Meat arrived am on day asked for all well packed and cold. Meat realty good quality and well priced. Will definitely order again.

My husband and I really love the meat from this company. Our meat is always exceptional, we have tried a variety from here. Ribeye steaks with perfect marbling, the whole chicken does not shrink, the grandpa sausages are amazing, we lobe all the chicken and lamb mince. We find ordering meat from here helps us budget our meals, we save on cost and eat great meat. We regularly order every 2 weeks, make sure we have enough meat for 2 weeks. I've noticed also that you can earn Meatbox points, so I'm hoping that will help around Christmas time. Plus we loved the promotional offer of free pork chops this month. Ordered from here many times was my go to online butcher. However I will never order from here again. After receiving my fairly expensive order, I noticed they had sent wrong items. Contacted customer service 3 times to rectify this and all 3 times I have been ignored.

I’ve ordered the firecracker sausages from here before months ago and they were really good. But this time they were inedible. No spice to them. Flavourless and definitely more “rusk” than meat. I ordered a pack and only ate one. Steak was average but won’t be ordering again

This Is the second I've purchased and as with first its faultless. The meat is of the highest quality in my opinion

Delivery arrived, some steak not vacuum sealed. Tried to contact via telephone and e-mail for a replacement. No reply. Waste of money and unprofessional customer service. Will not be ordering again.

The quality and price of the chicken legs is good, though the sizing of the legs is inconsistent. What is unacceptable, though, is the repeated unreliable delivery, whereby you choose a specific date, only for it to arrive the day after (sometimes without notice). Then they fail to respond to your email...

I have been a bit lazy and not ordered my chicken from here for a while but went back for more and wasn’t disappointed. The chicken breasts are by far the best you can buy for the price. Always tender and succulent.The deliveries have always been on time and the produce chilled to perfection with the ice packs. Would definitely recommend.

Have tried emails sales 5 times, they will not respond, so unprofessional. Want to be a customer, but reviews are not heartening, as communication is dire.

They keep sending me promotional stuff, but will not answer emails about smoked bacon availability.

Paid for delivery on Friday, did failed to deliver, goods perishable, can not find a way to contact meatbox, phone never answered emailed 3 times, sat, su, Monday, no response

Easy to order, great communication throughout.
The quality is brilliant, so far have had the chiken breasts burgers, steak and stuffed chicken breasts, fantastic quality and flavour. will definitely order again

I only eat Chicken and I must say that everything has been perfect.I cannot praise Meatbox high enough. They are a fabulous place to buy from. Long may you reign
