Unpaid Earnings, Poor Support, and Account Closure Without Justification
I have been working with mcanism.com, and my experience has been deeply disappointing.
According to their dashboard, I had over €2,500 in total earnings, with around €1,700 marked as “Paid In.” However, no payment was ever received. This issue has been ongoing for over 4 months, and their communication has been extremely poor.
First, they reversed sales due to a “technical problem,” then reported incorrect sales figures. Their explanations for the payment delay kept changing, initially blaming VAT issues, then claiming they only work with commercial accounts (despite having processed my account as private before). They also seemed unaware that their payment system was linked to our Payoneer account.
Support responses were slow or nonexistent, and phone calls were ignored. While they are active on LinkedIn, they have shown no urgency in resolving publisher concerns. Eventually, my account was closed with the claim of a “wrong German VAT” even though the payment method was changed according to their own support’s instructions.
This experience has caused financial loss and wasted time, and I cannot recommend them to other publishers.
