I purchased an eSIM from Maya, and was informed that the eSIM would be ready within a few moments. However, although I received an invoice and confirmation of payment by email, no eSIM was ever delivered. I tried the online help chatbot, which is simply pathetic, churning out the same standard response over and over, no matter what you ask it. You cannot get a human to help via chat. I tried their support email address, and someone did eventually answer, advising that they were experiencing difficulties and my eSIM would be delivered within a few hours. I waited several hours, and still no eSIM was delivered, so I issued a "Failure to Deliver" email requesting immediate delivery or a full refund. The company agreed to a refund. AVOID

Really easy to use and to top up while abroad

I had an issue with my sim not working in a certain country that was listed. The maya team made it super easy to try and solve the problem and were quite quick with the responses. All sorted in a few hours! Would highly recommend even for it being slightly expensive.

Easy to find a sim. Great prices. Easy to install, and worked well. I was in Saudi and Turkey and purchased esims for both and did not have any issues.

Best customer service chat experience I've ever had. Exceptionally quick response time to connecting me with a live agent who could handle my issue. Zero questions asked when I had to make a return due to my carrier's limitations. I would highly recommend using Maya Mobile again in the future.

Most countries my esim worked perfectly, unfortunately in panama it failed to work but after contacting customer services they were very helpful and quick at resolving the issue and restoring my network. Very impressed by maya mobile.

They ripped me off! I bought the unlimited plan for Southeast Asia a few months in advance of my trip. I then got a new phone plan that gave me free international roaming and data, so I canceled the plan with Maya and even received confirmation of cancellation. However I was never giving a refund and also when I arrived, I was sent an email telling me my plan is now active

We had been travelling through LATAM with the Maya eSim, and once set up, it worked well across our first 6 countries. When we landed in Panama, however, it stopped working. We tried the usual fixes, then contacted Maya. Once they too, were satisfied that all the normal successful fixes had not worked, customer service escalated the request. Within a half hour or so, we had been issued a replacement eSim, which worked straight away. Very happy with the service and response times (via email) to fix the problem.

I have the 5gb Asia e-sim.
In Thailand it worked fine, but in Vietnam you only get LTE (Da nang & Hoi an), even though Maya promises 5G.

Maya Mobile not only provides a reliable and fairly priced product but has an excellent customer service. Quick to respond and resolve matters satisfactorily.

I have used Maya eSIM several times before and never had an experience as bad as this one. Despite being in Singapore, the internet connection has been extremely poor. I reached out to customer service, and while they initially tried to help, they eventually just left the issue unresolved.

I feel neither safe nor organized without a reliable connection; it has completely ruined my trip. I have requested a full refund due to the unnecessary stress this has caused, but I still haven't heard back. I've been without internet for the entire day again. I am beyond disappointed.

The most important thing before the trip was that they answered immidiately. And helped me to manage my phone for eSim.

Everything went smoothly with Maya. We went through different countries in Asia and my phone kept working without doing anything. Lovely.

I had troubles connecting my esim in Vietnam having installed it before I left home. I contacted Maya customer services who immediately replied and guided me through the various stages. Due to my phone it was complicated but Dante kept suggesting different options which eventually worked. He was always polite and helpful. Nothing was too difficult for him. I would definitely recommend Maya. Thank you very much.
