In fairness I had an issue with the plugin diffuser and after taking a video plugging it in and switching it on (did not work) and sending to them, they sent me a replacement diffuser and bottle shortly after so I was happy with their followup and service. Thank you.

I was very disappointed with the new Max Benjamin electric diiffuser. No scent at all ,definitely not worth the money. I got on to the company. They askwd me for the batch number which I difn't have as I hsd thrown out the two empty bottles which I hsd used. They then asked me to forward a video of me plugging it in to mske sure I was using it properly. After that, thry ssid they couldn't help me anymore.

Usually love this range. Electric diffuser is about waste of money. Hardly any scent at all. Sticks and oil much better option. Do not waste ur money on electric one. Rubbish

Ordered a fragrance set, received no notification, several emails later no responses, completely ignored,have no sent my order, cancel order request ignored, taken my money and now have to claim back from bank as they will not respond to me.
Fill like I have been scammed and are furious, will never buy from these again.

New car so wanted a nice air freshener, spent €10 on the car set which included the holder and 1 scent (Acqua Viva) . Was disappointed, it was a lovely scent but very weak & after 4 days barely noticeable. So I thought it may have been an older item or a dud so I went back to store ( Carraig Donn) and bought one more refill and the scented card. Both of these items were even worse than the first , literally a whiff of a scent !! €20 down the drain, do not recommend.

3rd wick came out of bit at bottom, emailed company and I was sent the instructions of how to burn a candle, trying to say my fault. Very poor candle and very poor customer service. Emailed company back and didn’t get a reply. Won’t buy again

I recently purchased the The Pink Pepper reed diffuser refill and I'm very disappointed as there is no real scent from it. I've purchased many of their reed diffusers over the years and in the past have been very pleased with the quality, I noticed in recent times the quality seemed to have changed and not for the better unfortunately.

I always bought Max Benjamin diffusers for years and this is the first one I’ve bought since they changed the packaging and I’m really disappointed with it. I have it in my bathroom and there is zero smell from it - it may as well be filled with water. You can smell it a bit when you go close to it but it’s doesn’t fill the room like the old ones used to - maybe it wasn’t just a change of packaging but a dilution of the perfume too? Think I will get Rituals from now on. I wrote this review on their website but of course it wasn’t accepted.

The plug on the diffuser oil is very hard to open. It was that hard to open I spilled half the bottle. I emailed them, and heard nothing.

I had bought a number of candles made by Max Benjamin from the Kilkenny shop during Covid & my favourite was the Mimosa and Sweet Amber.. I recently purchased alot more from the makers themselves (as I heard this particular scent was being discontinued) The candles were delivered to me 2/3 days after ordering.. They burn evenly & leave no black marks on the jar itself.. Beyond happy with my purchases..Thanks Max Benjamin 🙂

I have ordered Max Benjamin refill diffuser. It has not arrived. The worst customer service experience! No one has picked up the phone, after many emails, I got a screen shot that the item was delivered. They didn't provide the tracking, told me to contact courier myself (they have booked it and didn't share their tracking). The item was delivered to completely different city (seen on the screen shot), not from my delivery address. Completely reluctant to deal with any customer issue. They have never returned my money either. So disappointing before Christmas! Will not buy their product, as they don't value their customers.

I got an Ilum candle as a gift (100€) last month. It has been a most disappointing product all together. Not fit for purpose from the first time I lit it! The wax smothers the flame after a couple of minutes burn time and this happens despite following all the instructions! Customer service is non existent from store where it was purchased and the company also. I would definitely not advise anyone to buy this product if they want a candle that actually performs as it should. Totally overpriced and useless product…avoid.

I got the car fragrance pack which includes refills and I am very disappointed with it. I followed the set up instructions exactly yet it will not sit properly in the air vent and in my opinion the scent fades too fast, like within a couple of days. It's around €20 + and again in my opinion I do not believe it is worth it.

I have gotten their candles and really liked them but I would definitely not repurchase the car fragrance set.

Very disappointed with the candle I purchased online. In very small print on a sticker on the bottom of the glass it state's do not put on a fire resistant surface which I checked after the glass became so hot that it actually burnt an area on the mantle of my wooden fireplace. I've had many candles lit on this mantle and it's never happened before so I doubt I will purchase this brand again, a lot of crackling when it was lit too.

Great service, great product : I ordered on Saturday, and I already received the package on Tuesday.
The products look and smell very sophisticated. I am convinced !!

Bought three candle refills. Rose and Champagne lacked fragrance and has tunnelled in the short space of an hour - really disappointed . Not sure what the Pink Peppercorn or Azure one will do but it is a real shame

It was meant to burn for x hours... It doesn't... It slides in half in an half an hour and then dies... Truth.. Spent a fortune on 6 candles.. Want to give 5..scent good.. For that half hour.. Don't waste ur money on this brand
