Al Mashreq Bank has given me the worst banking experience I have ever encountered. Significant amounts of money were withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or authorization. When I reached out to the bank for an explanation, their customer service was shockingly unhelpful and failed to provide any clarity or resolution. It’s evident that this bank does not prioritize the security or satisfaction of its customers. I strongly advise anyone against dealing with such an unreliable and unsafe bank.

The worst experience I ever had with this bank, especially if you are Neo Biz where they treat the SME people as cheap customers, bad customer support, not to mention the number of times they rejected international and Local Transactions, Cheque deposits for unknown reasons like " internal policy" which you never understand, each time you need to go to the branch and meet the management to get things resolved, otherwise customer service in Egypt, India has zero value and you can not ever hear them due to cheap telephony system they are use.
As for what they call " account managers" they are also not helpful and lack communication and information with delay and no response to you as a client, my advice to those who have SME business, go to Wio Bank and get your business account set with them, otherwise you will lose your time and money.

Everytime my account is below 100, money is vanishing without explanation and when u call them they tell u used the money, i had 45 aed i went to buy something magicly the account had inly 13, i slept and woke up it was -26 and when y call the customer service they say u used the money although there was no any transaction made, beware guys they are scammers, its happening always and everytime my account is going negative and i was sayibg its okey its Just 10-20 aed but enough is enough

I think if they can simply improve by assigning a human to listen to the issues of users instead of circling them on automated voice options (which by the way, don't work, if they ever cared to test).
I made a transfer yet 2 days the other party has not received it. The only option left for me is to visit the bank itself as I am unable to reach anyone through phone.
Edit: my whole rant was about their automatic voice/chat support system not working, and they replied below to me asking to connect again with their bots. What an irony.

I chose a balance transfer because they offered a 6-month payment plan, requiring only a small percentage to be paid monthly until you complete the payment based on your payment plan. However, upon reviewing my statement, I saw they were demanding the full amount. When I contacted their representative for clarification, they explained that since I made a transaction with the card a few days after the balance transfer, it violated their conditions. As a result, I now have to pay the entire balance transfer amount.
They further informed me that using the credit card for any other transactions is not allowed until the balance transfer is fully paid. This restriction wasn’t clearly stated in the terms and conditions when I initiated the transfer through their app.
What’s the point of using their credit if they impose such limitations? I might as well pay it off and close the account. Otherwise, they’ll just burden me with unnecessary fees instead of genuinely offering a helpful payment plan.
I’ve done balance transfers with other banks before, and there were no such restrictions. I could still use the credit card as long as I paid the required minimum amount each month.
This is a really bad experience for me. A lesson learned not to use their account anymore.
Update 30/Dec/2024: I just got a call from their representative and agreed to do the installment for the balance transfer.
It suggest making a call to their customer service representative first before making any transaction so as to avoid these confusions.

I have felt with many banks but for Mashreq I feel like ts the laziest bank I have come across , they take days to fund my account after transfers have been made to my account so sometimes I have to wait for about 21 days for my funds to reflect , what kind of policy is that ,, I feel like it should be easier and quicker , how useless keeping or transacting with Mashreq bank ,

One of the worst bank support and sadly its a so bad to deal with un logical Policies, they always try to find any way to charge your credit card with list of charges, only for 2 minutes my card got overlimit -4 AED They Charged me 320 AED immediately trx was 0152 i paid 0154 and still charging me

I had a very disappointing experience with Mashreq Bank while trying to open a company account. I visited three different branches, hoping to find a solution, but none of them provided any practical or satisfactory assistance. The customer service was unprofessional, and it was clear that the staff lacked the necessary training and etiquette to handle international customers effectively.
The service was not only slow but also inefficient, leaving me frustrated with their inability to resolve even basic issues. Furthermore, their online application and website were unreliable, frequently malfunctioning despite the extensive advertising that suggests otherwise.
For a bank that positions itself as a leader in the financial industry, Mashreq Bank fell far short of expectations. I cannot recommend their services, particularly to business owners or international clients who require dependable banking solutions.

It have been a nightmare for me using this bank. I can't get access to my money in my account ..the card is not working ..calling there number there are not giving soluble solutions ..visiting one of their branch in dubai mall .they open late around 12pm ..the services are very low..noo!!!!

I am Mashreq bank customer and having some credit card related issue so I tried to call customer service but unfortunately it's being a long to be in queue So I went to sahara center branch nnd met a staff name Aliya and her attitude was not at all pleasant as customer service representative.
She Was so rude and bluntly replied without understanding the concerns.
I really want to cancel my card because of the lady and her unprofessional behaviour.
Mashriq team you have to choose humble employees who can assist the customers.

Absolutely terrible. I need a cheque book to pay rent at the end of the month and I have reached my limit. I called them to try and get this resolved and they said there's nothing they can do? I said I have rent to pay at the end of the month and all she did was apologise, said there's nothing they can do, and laugh??
They said I can apply again in 6 months? I said rent needs to be paid today. They said there's "nothing" they can do? It's a book with blank sheets of paper in. Terrible bank.

Credit card fraud
I've been a customer for many years. Last year there was fraud on my credit card. I complained to the bank, card was cancelled. They issued another card, this card to0 was used fraudulently immediately. I had not used the card or even registered it anywhere. Was used by the same entity. There was no OTP sent to me and the second time no SMS even. Mashreq are denying all responsibility and refusing to refund.The merchant where the card was used flagged it up as suspicious. But Mashreq did nothing.
Despite the above review the bank has still failed to do anything, They have not even called me.

i used Mashreq Cash Back credit cards for my utility bills for 4 months worth of 45k. i haven't received the cash back and when I called the bank they told me that I am using their mobile application for my utility bills that's why they are not giving me the cash back.
please be aware they Mashreq bank is not up to mark.
