Shocking incompetence & no customer service
Utter incompetence from start to finish!! So much so I returned the washing machine. I ordered & paid for a washing machine plus package removal, disposal of the old machine & installed. It took a week to have the washer delivered & the 2 people that delivered refused to unpack, install & remove the old washer. I spoke to MD customer service team, they promised lots but suppled very little. MD & the logistics company expected me to store the new washer in my home till they could send a team to install etc. I’m afraid NO CHANCE. I told them to come & remove the new washer, which they after I threatened to leave it outside on my driveway. I had to do all the ringing around & chasing, it was a total disaster. I will never attempt to give either of these companies any business in the future & I will tell everyone who will listen about this experience.

I bought a Panasonic freeview recorder from Martin Dawes, who offered it at the best price. It was delivered promptly and works perfectly. It is not as easy to use as my old Hitachi but does have more memory. I am very happy with it.

On the whole my experience was pretty good. I had to send back my first TV for a replacement - not because it was faulty but because I wanted one with a slightly better spec. This was all accomplished pretty seamlessly. I would have given 5 stars if communications had been somewhat better. I was returning the first TV for a full refund, even though the website says I could have received a 10% reduction: this is great. But I was told that on the phone and didn’t receive an email confirmation, which worried me slightly. Then I had to call again to check my refund was in progress after the return of the first set, when I would normally expect an email confirming receipt of the returned set and a notification that the full amount was to be paid by a certain date.

Like the product but not impressed with the delivery , on the Martin Dawes website it stated next day delivery , also on the courier’s email it stated next day delivery , however the delivery was 5 days later !!

Paul repaired my Samsung oven today
Paul repaired my Samsung oven today, he was great, did the job quick and efficient and it’s fixed with in 1 week of breaking.
He’s a credit to the company
4 stars and not 5 was nothing to do with Paul or Martin Dawes really, only that the oven is 2 months old and broke so would have thought it would be replaced, hopefully this new part lasts longer than 2 months
I rang the Customer Service team and…
I rang the Customer Service team and spoke to one of the advisor explaining the washing machine shakes violently while spinning even though I changed to the different settings, washed it with half a load, full load and even took the transit bolts out but still made no difference so the only thing I can think of is faulty. I told him when it's spinning it's half way down my kitchen and has damaged my cupboards but the person on the other line did not wanted to hear or even bother about the seriousness of the situation. The person puts me on holds for couple of minutes and told me we can send of the engineers out but there will be a costs? I asked him if am under warranty why would I pay for someone to come and have a look I was told am under warranty with the washing machine which is hisense not with them even though I bought this from Martin Dawes? I would never ever buy from this company and would never recommend to family or friends or anyone.
Disgusting customers service it just show they don't care as long as they make sales what happen after that it has nothing to do them.
Samsung machine
I have a samsung machine that had a problem last year which one of the engineers came out from your company I believe in December 2024 , the machine was working until last week it played up again in which i had another engineer come out today by the name Lewis lovely lad, he straight away noticed the problem and the mistake that the other engineer had done which was the other engineer did not order new parts however Lewis did and fitted them both in. Machine is up and running now thanks to him, cheers lewis 🥂

I purchased a Bosch washing machine with installation. 1st problem was that the installers left transit bolts on and told me ready to use. Good job I waited to use as I needed a specialist to come and put in my Bosch stacking kit and new dryer. He removed the bolts . On using machine a few times it had a loud banging noise , Bosch came out and now it needs replacing , Martin Dawes are ignoring me so I have paid for an expensive machine I can’t use . I have need been weighing my laundry before putting in machine .
Sometimes cheapest seller is not the best. Bosch have been here again and verified machine was damaged in transport so not only fo the delivery guys/installers not know what a transit bolt is they damage items in transit. And I’m still waiting for exchange

Ordered a Alphason Chaplin 2000 TV Cabinet, received the Alphason Chaplin 1135 TV Cabinet. Rang and very politely explained the mistake, was told the 2000 would be sent and the other picked up! Haven't heard from the since! I really can't be bothered ringing anymore it's just too frustrating. I've stuck the cabinet in my bedroom and done what I should've done in the first place... ordered from Amazon!
