Lovely long slieved, vintage style, tee shirts advertised for men, very avant-garde indeed. They were clearly Denim material very fashionable with shades of colours that I had never heard of like persimmon etc. So I ordered two.
Imagine my surprise when my package came. Squeezed up in a tight bag with no invoice or bill of sale but there was worse to come. These tee shirts were of cheap cotton not the same as advertised with colours so bright, green and yellow, so revolting they almost made me sick and I could only cry to think I had been caught for 53 pounds for these two shirts. These were not the shirts I ordered. I complained immeadiately only to be offered a half price voucher no doubt to be spent at Martha's of london. I told them what they coud do with that and demanded my money back.
They said how sorry they were to hear of my negative shopping experience (really!) and they would try to do better next time. There won't be a next time..

I have never had such a bad experience with a company as this .Good total and utter rubbish. No refund for "goods bought on promotion"🤫🤔 Now trying to get some kind of resolution via report fraud and credit card company

Avoid Martha of London – Extremely Poor Quality and Refusal to Refund

I had a very disappointing experience with Martha of London and would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing.

I placed an order worth £480 in November believing this was a legitimate UK-based company. Shortly after placing the order, I came across multiple negative reviews raising serious concerns, so I cancelled within a few hours – well within their stated 14-day cancellation period.

Despite this, the company claimed the order had been dispatched and provided a tracking number that did not link to any recognised courier. I was advised to refuse delivery, but parcels were left unattended outside my home and even delivered to a neighbour without notification, making refusal impossible.

When I finally received the items and inspected them, the quality was extremely poor:

Items did not match the website descriptions
Very cheap materials
Loose threads, damaged zips, and poor stitching
Overall nothing like what was advertised

When I requested a return, they refused to provide the necessary return form and instead tried to rely on a “no refund on sale items” policy. They then offered only a small partial refund (15%), which is unacceptable given the condition and misrepresentation of the goods.

This experience raises serious concerns about how this company operates, particularly around product quality, transparency, and their handling of refunds.

I would strongly recommend doing thorough research before purchasing and being aware of your consumer rights.

I ordered a dress and cardigan from this company received dress first would only fit a very small child not a medium adult. When cardigan came it was not knitted but a shiny nylon fabric which was finished of badly and was too small. Will never buy from these again the adverts look great but products are nothing like they show.

Goods arrived were too small, contacted company for return details told sale or promotional items are not covered by returns policy. Pointed out that this is in breach of UK consumer law and eventually company stopped corresponding with me. Citizens advice bureau next stop.

Please do not use this company. They are a totally false company hiding behind obscure trading terms and conditions. Any queries or complaints are answered by A.I. generated stock replies. They are a scam company of the very worst kind because they try to convince you that they are doing everything to help. Also,beware I am convinced they have other companies selling the exact same things with the same obscure terms and conditions. STAY AWAY.

Had the same issues,spoke to my bank who resolved this and got my refund!

I ordered a dress. It has never arrived.

An utter scam. Instead of the interesting, colourful and good quality shirt I ordered, I received a cheap, nasty, gawdy polyester shirt. As others have said, they claim I can't have a refund as this was a special deal. Rubbish. They offered 50% off my next order. Guess what - there won't be one! Utter rubbish. Don't be tempted!

Saw mens shirts advertised at a reasonable price and 10% discount if you buy 2 which is what I did.
When they arrived the size was nothing like I ordered so after two attempt to contact them I finally was advised of their returns policy.
If you buy something with a offer no refund or exchange only a voucher offering 50% off your next purchase.
WHAT A CON

It's an absolute scam. They're MO: you order something, you get it, it's poor quality, nothing like the website. They refuse to give you a refund, stating that it's a special offer. You carry on pushing; they'll offer you 15% but advise that it'll cost you more than that to send it back. Contact your bank and explain to them it's nothing like the thing you ordered. I received arefund that way.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

It's a totally scam and needs shutting down

This has been an irritation for almost two months.  Now they are transferring it to their Refunds Department for REVIEW!  Do they even have a refund department. They took my money under false representation/advertising, the garment was
absolutely disgusting.  Was advertised as a KNIT, where in the world do you think this item was knitted.

I have already reviewed this company and advised people never to use them. I believe they may now be trading as Berrymore Birmingham as the identical item of clothing I bought from Martha is now being sold through Berrymore so be vigilant.

If I could I would not give any stars to Martha London! The item I ordered was not in any way like the item received. The item was falsely advertised and has dealing with this company is stressful. I have demanded a full refund and this seems to be an issue with them. Any absolute nightmare to deal with but I will persist.

Quality poor. Don't offer refund for purchases over the net despite UK regulations.

recently ordered shoes which came 3 sizes too small emailed them for a return they replied because its a promo i cannot receive refund they are scammers. I am contacting clearpay and bank to stop payments...please AVOID this so called company.

Ordered a shirt from this company which states 30 day returns policy. Shirt arrived after 2 weeks. Nothing like the advertised item. A cheap badly made polyester shirt instead of one that looked like cotton. Tried to return it but because I had purchased it as part of a promotion they refused. Have now contacted my bank to get payment reversed. Don’t go near them !!

I spoke to my bank , submitted copies of all correspondence and they have successfully reversed the payment.. worth doing !

What can I say that isn't the same as everybody else's? I'd recommend you contact your bank. Get the payment reversed. It's a scam operating out of China with a very plausible website; it fooled me. Note to Trustpilot: Why can't you do something, because it's claiming that you have a five-star review

I bought a coat half price - £49. The garment was low quantity tat. Following the company's instruction I emailed requesting a Returns Form with the immediate response that my phone had a virus. After three attempts, I'm getting nowhere.
What a con...
Don't use this company. It shouldn't be allowed to operate.
