This company denied processing our claim for Marriage Allowance Rebate when in fact HMRC confirmed that they cashed our cheque last year ! HMRC are no longer working with them . They have stopped responding to my emails. Do not have anything to do with them

Total SCAM of a company. Hold on to your money until you eventually find out that you were due a tax rebate!!
They charged my mum a 42% fee and then a whopping £100 admin fee leaving her with hardly any money left from her tax rebate.

Very unhappy customer
I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star as they were that awful. Held on to my money for 2 years and failed to make any attempt to contact me. I only got some money back because I questioned them in an email. I was due £129.33 but got £52.77 back after they deducted 60% in fees. Please be aware of this company they are out to take your money 😡😡😡

These contacted me. They use every delaying method possible. A whopping 48% they take plus a further 15 pounds administrative change. They told me they would send me a cheque. I have written back to them after three weeks and they are now telling me I need to prove who I am. They know who I am because of my national insurance number plus I have forward documentation from the HMRC. They just are so unprofessional and want to earn interest on your money by holding on to it. I am now contacting HMRC. I feel I have been well and truly scammed by this company. Asking me for further confidential documents for no need. Avoid this company at all cost. I have now contacted Action Fraud concerning this company.

Unacceptable behaviour
Made a claim with them for backdated Marriage Allowance. The fees to begin with are extortionate at 42% + £100 administration fee, they are pocketing over half of what I am due. This isn't the thing that bothers me most however, it's the total time taken which is the biggest issue.
I made my claim back in OCTOBER of 2023. I then had to chase them up, so what am I actually paying the fees for? I finally get a response dated 6th March 2024 saying I will get my cheque after another 35 days. The 35 days has now elapsed and still no cheque. I now need a question answering, DO YOU SEGREGATE CUSTOMER FUNDS after you have received the cheque from HMRC? I will need this information as I am now seeking to put a claim in with the small claims court for breach of contract and will be seeking redress in the monies owed and emotional distress caused by their inadequate and unacceptable lack of communications.
I have the strong belief they pool customers money together and make bank via interest on said money, which isn't legally theirs. As an FCA regulated business, you should know this isn't lawful.
You have 7 days to make sure I receive my cheque for the monies owed or you will be taken to court.

Should have informed me of their cut.
It was so helpful at the fact that they helped us claim the marriage tax back after all these years, the only thing I thought was a little shocking was that HMRC informed us of the grand total that they 'owed' us in back pay and we didn't even receive half of the amount that HMRC had quoted us.
I understand and know that as they are a third party, they also receive a cut, I was just not told how much that would have been, it would have been nice to know I'm advanced so that it wasn't a shock
