Recently completed the Chef Pastry program at Maritime Skill Academy.
The trainers were excellent — they explained techniques clearly and took time to ensure everyone understood. The practical sessions were hands-on, and at the end we got to enjoy the food we prepared. I was also fortunate to win a prize during the assessment.
What stood out was the opportunity to interact with recruiters from Crew Life at Sea who attended the session. It made the training feel directly connected to real job opportunities at sea.

I’d recommend Maritime Skill Academy to anyone serious about a pastry role in the maritime industry.
For a start-up school the set-up was impressive and especially because of the wealth of knowledge and experience the team behind the academy has. It's offering straight forward solutions to long existing job requirements gap. I even managed to win a free scholarship and we even had lunch prepared for us on launch day wasn't expecting any food at all.
The session was very informative, all of the presenters were prepared, it was short and sweet. The food was everything.. I can't wait to attend another one.
