Lovely Campsite in Peterhead
I decided to have a dad and doggies trip away and I found Marina Bay Holiday Park on a list of nearby (to Aberdeen) places. I'm really glad I did because I'm one day into my stay and this place is great.
I was greeted by the owner (Rhona, I believe) and given a full tour of the campsite which seemed to have everything I needed. She then upgraded us to a seaview pitch where one of the static caravans had been taken away. We are literally 2 yards away from the path that leads to the lovely quiet and clean beach that is 20 yards away.
The site itself is lovely. Everything is tidy and the toilet block is immaculate. There are even some essentials if you've forgotten your toothbrush etc.
Last night I had a wander into the town and grabbed myself a lovely pizza from Big Manny's and a pint from the dog-friendly pub next door while I waited. The owner there was great too and gave the dogs some treats.
So far the weather is holding up and it's surprisingly mild for mid-October in the north east of Scotland. Overall, I'm very pleased with my stay so far. 10/10 and 5 stars!
