Fantastic Experience

Good Morning,

I would just like to extend a thank you to everyone involved in my journey for better eyesight.

From initial contact to ongoing communication before I flew was perfect.

As was all the communication once I landed in Turkey, my interpreter was absolutely amazing and she provided me with all the comfort and reassurance I required especially as I was on my own.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, very welcoming and the food fantastic.

The surgeon and his team were also amazing and insured I had full confidence in my procedure which went so smoothly and with little or no discomfort.

I will have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone, and in fact I already have a friend who is very interested and I will be talking to them once I arrive home.

Just again thank you for providing the services you provide, you make a lot of people’s dreams come true as you did mine.

Crowns

Had my teeth done over 3 days. Stayed for 4 nights. I had 20 crowns 3 root canals and 1 filling !

It was a big decision to travel abroad for both myself and wife's dental treatment and we glad we did 👍
The hotel was spot on.
Transfers around istanbul were on time amd cheerful.
Out interpreters were kind and helpful.
The staff at the clinic especially the dentits would go above and beyond not just in the look of our teeth but the health of our teeth.

I wasn’t going to write this as I give…

I wasn’t going to write this as I give the clinic a chance by refunding for the work they carried out on my teeth but they refused. I don’t want anyone going through the same thing. I came to this dentist from the UK first for 14teeth, when I got there they did not sound confident at all and spoke about giving me a bridge at the top of my mouth when I have no missing teeth (red flag) we agreed on 4 top back crowns and I would get my other 10 replaced by another dentist in Istanbul. What they have put in my mouth is the absolute worst dental work I or anyone else has seen. Even my other dentist was shocked by the work.They give me a bridge which measures almost 2cm thick. We did not discuss a bridge and I paid for crowns I believe they done this so they can cut corners and be cheap. I reached out to the clinic in which they said the only way I will be giving a refund is I had to come back the clinic for them to take my teeth out before they issue it, bare in mind I have just got all my teeth shaving down and they wanted me to fly home with no teeth.

I have tried to attach photos to show any potential patients the work they can expect but it does not allow. I will be posting them on other forums. They are huge and fill a large proportion of the roof of my mouth. They are cartoonish, plastic like teeth. The only positive thing I can say about this company is the man who meets you who I guess is a coordinator/translator is pleasant and polite.

After telling them I will be taking this further if they don’t refund my money, the impolite lady on the Watsapp threatened me with legal action. I’m sure they know it wouldn’t go anywhere as I have all the photo evidence of the work they done.

My advice would be to stay away from this company. There is great dentist in istanbul who take pride in their dental work.
These are not them. I now have to pay over £3000 in the uk to have 4 teeth replaced with crowns. My mouth is a mess of this dentist!

You take pride is customer satisfaction? You have seen multiple photos of the work the dentist carried out on my mouth which is evidently shocking work. My mouth is struggling to adjust and can’t close, they are that huge in my mouth. Your dentist and technicians need further training and I don’t believe they should be carrying out work on anymore patients until they do so! How do you explain fitting a bridge in my mouth when I discussed and payed for singular crowns? It’s malpractice. Your company says you are willing to take legal action, legal action against what? A patient telling the truth on their experience with yourselves?

Dental treatment

I made my research into my dental treatment and had previously used MAPA health. I had no hesitation in booking my appointment. The process was simple and everything was in place all I need was book my flight.My dental was absolutely excellent from from start to finish. Its my dental treatment and had to be perfect. The dental staff to my Dental Dr. She was absolutely fantastic,can not thank her enough she was fantastic and very meticulous in her work she did. Very good experience using this business for my lens replacements

Very good experience using this company. I was well taken care of and the care was very good. I had lens replacements and would definitely recommend. All the transfers were always on time. The interpreters were very good they explained everything and messages were answered quickly via WhatsApp. The only comment I would make to the company is maybe an itinerary could be given to clients as I didn't know when I would be having the procedure. Otherwise very happy overall

Laser Eye Surgery with Mapa!

Absolutely amazing experience all around! The communication prior to the surgery, during the days of the surgery and after my surgery was impeccable and all of my questions were always answered swiftly and in great detail! I was talked through every step of my Laser Eye surgery and had an amazing surgeon and team of eye doctors that made me feel very comfortable during my time. My English translator Ismail was outstanding and remained with me throughout my hospital and surgery journey always ensuring I knew what was happening! Everyone was extremely polite and helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel was stunning and breakfast included was also lovely. The VIP transfers were exactly that with luxury cars and privacy between all locations during my time in Istanbul!! Highly highly recommend Mapa Health! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Lense Replacement

Had my eyes done in July and the whole experience was exceptional.
Communications from the start giving a full expected price and information to getting daily messages about pickup times and procedures.
The private hospital was state of the art and you are well looked after, even getting a meal after your surgery.
All medications provided with a full explanation sheet, all scan information and lense information provided to bring home.
Great service and would highly recommend.

Highly recommend came from uk

Had my laser eye treatment done by these guys so far so good! Picked me up from airport dropped me to hotel and hospital and back answered all my questions very nice hospitality and hospital was nice and my translator meena was lovely and was the best I could have asked for !

I contacted the hospital regarding lens…

I contacted the hospital regarding lens replacement surgery and got a response straight away, I was booked in and arrived a week later. From contact to surgery the whole experience was 5 star treatment ☺
We was late arriving as the passport control was really busy but the car waited for us we was checked into our hotel which was a nice clean luxury room.
The next morning we was picked up and taking to the hospital where all checks was made for the lens replacement surgery. My new lens were made and we was put on a hospital room which was more like a hotel room so clean and everything explained really well. I was taking down to theatre and had my eye lens replacement and given excellent care ☺
Meena my translator was amazing ♥ she explained everything really well and truely looked after us, she was amazing ☺
As soon as my eyes were uncovered I could see but was blurry for that day, by the next day my eues were perfect I had 20/20 vision 👀
The whole experience was easily 10/10 and 5 star treatment ☺
I would highly recommend using this hospital again to anyone and if I wanted any more procedures ☺
I would like to thank the Dr's and nurses and especially Meena for looking after us so well ☺

Disappointed!

My husband & I was reassured by Zeynep after sending an eye test & given a plan for trifocals. We was sent a video where to wait for our transport once getting off the plane. We was there waiting over an hour & was told the video has been updated & we was in the wrong place. We overcome that problem to then find there was no reservation at the hotel. After a few phone calls to Zeynep that was sorted. The next day we was taken to the clinic we was both told by a doctor that we wasn’t suitable for trifocals tho both disappointed we was thankful for the honesty.
Then the atmosphere changed from the organisers & informed us we will have to pay all expenses ( transfers, hotel, scan & treatment, it cost us £1,500) Tho not either sides fault the onus was on us and was determined to get there money. We felt totally let down & left to arrange flights home early once they got there money.
If you’re thinking of using this servis make sure you send as much information to MAPA and get confirmation as my husband sent a scan that wasn’t looked at but still had to have another one that cost extra money. Hopefully you get good results but when it goes wrong its a different story. All the best 🤞

Just to add I’ve had a reply from MAPA who misunderstood my review. Pegasus airline fantastic, airport pick up waited one hour & was not informed of new pick-up point.
No hotel reservation but nice room/hotel once in.
The eye hospital was state of the art- fantastic! & interpreter was also great.
The eye surgeon very knowledgable, helpful & professional.
Unfortunately, once we was informed that we wasn’t suitable for treatment the representative from MAPA was adamant that we had to pay there & then even tho our credit cards were back at the hotel. We only sent on what was asked for eg eye test & was told we can have trifocals.

We felt unfairly treated & dismissed once we was unable to have surgery.
Poor customer service!!

Still misunderstood!!
There are no complaints from the surgeon whom I agree made the right choice for not doing surgery on either of us, thankful for the honesty. We are disappointed with the way we were treated once your representative knew that we had to pay & showed that by asking us to pay straight away & not given proper instructions on arrival. All of your mistakes have been put on us, there needs to be more information from your clients to make sure they get the surgery/work they need. Have a good day!

Unfortunately, surgery was not possible for you. Our doctor explained this in detail. In addition, during the current pre-check period, our doctor acted more regularly and meticulously and wanted to image with OCT, which was a very good thing. He did not perform your surgery, stating that it would be dangerous to perform your surgery due to a reason behind your eye.

Surgery has been offered for your wife by offering different lenses. However, he refused and did not want to have surgery. You are not misunderstood, you just think what you say is true.

Payment must be made for the preliminary checks and examinations performed in the hospital during your treatment before leaving the hospital. This is not only the case in Turkey but all over the world.

Problems you experience for the airport; These are changes that occur in accordance with airport regulations. We have no chance of intervening in this. It is also strange that this situation is portrayed as our fault for a situation that is under airport control.

Problems you experience for the hotel; Since the receptionist did not see your reservation, you contacted our colleague and your room was quickly allocated to you. In this case, as our company, there is no fault and a rapid intervention was made.

Exceptional. Pure professionalism.

Dude. This company is legit amazing, and this is coming from a Londoner that is hard to impress. I was recommended by a friend to have LASIK here and this exceeded WAY beyond my expectations. They sent high end cars, good translators (Ahmet is a legend), had the eye surgery in a high end clinic with transfers always on time and someone on standby for me to consult in every part of the process. Zeynep over WhatsApp was super easy to work with as well and made it seem like she never sleeps with how quickly she'd respond regardless of the time. Overall very happy, and I can't say I've ever had such an easy going and flexible experience from start to finish from any company. And before I forget, my eyes are amazing so far 2 days post surgery. Will update after a couple weeks, let's see if their aftercare is just as good.

I had a lense replacement laser eye surgery 4 days ago..Surgery ,airport transfer,hotel everything was perfect.I felt a VIP throughout these days.The clinic deserves a 5* along the translator Ahmet and Mapa Health as they arranged everything.Highly recommend their services to anyone .

The most professional experience from start to finish

From the time I initially contacted Mapa on WhatsApp and flew to Istanbul our every question was answered. I was reassured, all questions regarding the governance, company procedures and staff were answered. I felt very safe and the service was so professional throughout. All staff from the sales team to the staff at the clinic, hospital and transports were fantastic. We had a translator with us at all times - even in theatre for surgery to offer reassurance and inform me of every conversation and instruction while receiving my surgery. An excellent experience and I recommend this company without hesitation, my consultant and team were remarkable and the word perfectionist is fitting for his skill, thank you so much

Lazer Eye Surgery with MapaHealth...My successful story

Took my daughter for Lazer eye surgery with MapaHealth. From start to finish they were extremely professional. Their facilities were fantastic - super clean and modern.
As we went as a family of 4 we wanted to turn it into a holiday as well. We booked our own accommodation which meant the cost went down.
We were picked up from the airport in an 8 seater Mercedes van which was very comfortable and were taken straight to the hospital/clinic. The whole consultation and surgery were done within 4 hours. We were then taken to our apartment. The next day we were picked up again and taken to the hospital/clinic for a check-up. We were told it was all good and my daughter was happy with her vision.
We then enjoyed 4 days of holiday in Istanbul and were picked up and taken to the airport.
Also, you get your own translator who will be with you throughout the process even though the Turkish doctors can speak English reasonably well - but for your peace of mind you are given a translator, who is like a friend and can help you get answers to any queries you have. We had Ahmed who was absolutely fantastic, helpful and reassuring.
We were quoted 4k in the UK. With Mapahealth it cost us about a quarter of the UK cost. Even with costs of flights, accommodation, food and siteseeing, it still cost us less than 4k. Basically, a free holiday.
DONT WASTE MONEY IN THE UK. GO WITH MAPAHEALTH AND HAVE SURGERY AND A HOLIDAY.
