Gorgeous Bag~

Gorgeous Bag~
I was delighted with the speedy delivery to Hong Kong. The Drawstring Cabas is absolutely gorgeous, and I appreciated the stylish pink tote bag used for the packaging—it was a very nice touch. That said, I would still prefer a traditional dustbag for keeping and storing my Drawstring Cabas, as it feels more practical for long-term care.

Disrespectful

I bought a bag in their sale, it arrived with a black stain. They suggested a 15% further reduction for good will (ie 7% off the original price), and gently rubbing with a shoe cream to remove it.

When I said I felt that 10% off the original price for a bag that had clearly been used seemed fair, they backtracked on trying to remove the stain and insisted it was part of the finish. I had by this time tried to gently rub it and indeed a black mark came off on the cloth confirming it was a stain and the bag had likely been used.

I found it quite offensive not being believed that it was genuinely a stain, their backtracking and the hair-splitting when I suggested a 10% reduction, all of which left a bad taste.

The same bag in a different colour was listed at 20% less than the original full price in the sale, a day after the sale ended.

As my first experience buying from this company, I didn't come away feeling respected as a customer.

STAY AWAY from this seller

STAY AWAY from this seller! 😡
They sold me a used product for $365 and refused to accept a return. The item is completely worthless now. I should have checked their horrible reviews before buying — learn from my mistake and avoid this seller at all costs!

DO NOT BUY

I was very looking forward to receiving my bucket bag in red. Carefully worn for 2 months - I work from home, so not even on a daily basis - and the leather chips already off on the bottom edges ..... Customer service told me to get it redone on my own - what kind of quality and customer service is this?

Ridiculous Customer Service

It dropped price by 50% within a month of my purchase. I reached out to them, asking for the price adjustments or any remedy they could provide, such as allowing me to return and I can buy it again. The customer service Rep simply said we cannot and hope I could understand.

This is so ridiculous, and I would never and ever purchase from them!

In addition, they say there is an online chat on their website, which is not there at all. Another interesting thing is that they do not have product reviews on their product page. If I could have read any comments like I do here, I would never and ever purchase, too.

As for the quality of the bag, just so so.

Be careful shopping with this brand

Be careful shopping with this brand. It's one of the few on the internet that doesn't allow returns, printed in small type and not at all obvious. The purse I ordered was too small, but until I could see I didn't really know. It was shown as being marked down, but again, the type used to note that it wasn't returnable was small and carefully hidden.

Make a purchase and hope they send it.

Expensive item purchased as a gift over 7 days ago. Two emails did update. No response. They have the item I purchased or do they. They have my money. But I am disputing the charge with my bank. From the reviews this an operation one might want to avoid.

Very strange - have my money and the bag i bought

Bought bag. Insurance option selected from third party at check out. The bag is addressed to a parcel locker and doesnt get to me. Mansur Gavriel just say to UPS that I moved (did not) and the bag gets shipped back to them. In the meantime, they initiated my insurance claim (NOT ME - I wanted to wait to see if I could get the bag, hence I opened the case with UPS). The bag arrived back with them today, and they keep the money from purchase.

£1,000 out of pocket and no response

10 days and 3 follow up emails later, I'm still waiting for someone to respond to me regarding 1 faulty item and a standard return.

Such disappointing service for a brand I had always respected.

Bought a bag with 25% discount

Bought a bag with 25% discount. Immediately emailed to ask to swap to smaller size. I was advised they would try but may not be possible. In any event I could return via the returns portal. I was misinformed I can’t return as it’s an exceptional sale (why?!) it’s non refundable and I can’t exchange. Didn’t realise this was allowed for online retail? Other retailers offer discount promotions but you can still return if needed. Lack of responses to emails to sort this. No phone number outside of the US. Will not have confidence nor desire to purchase from them again.

Poor CX and quality

Purchased a so called luxury bag online only for that bag to be of poor quality. Upon returning the bag, I was only refunded the product amount and not the taxes. The taxes are non refundable but only written/documented in a hidden section and nowhere across the checkout process

Do not purchase from them unless you are USA based

Hi, here’s my experience with purchasing at Mansur Gavriel since last summer. Products are nice, just not worth the hassle and work you are going to have to do to get them.
It all started when I got a Marimekko pouch, that couldn’t get delivered because of customs issues and to simplify things I ended up having it delivered to my in-laws in USA given that the date I need it for was way past and I would have to gift it later on anyways.
They gave me a 20% discount to apologize. I was reluctant to use it at first, but was told to contact them and they would make sure nothing would happen.
I ended up placing an order for a wallet on sale with the extra discount (nothing extraordinary since they do the same without having had to gone through a really bad service experience). I sent them all the information has they had requested and this time around not only did my product get stopped in customs, I had to pay a fine because of their mishandling. I had to advance the money (which was about 76% of the price paid) and was told that someone would call me to apologize and help me out.
This call never took place. They refunded me the extra customs fee I had to pay but didn’t give any additional compensation for all the calls I had to make (well over 20) to a DHL paying number, nor for the time lost and stress caused.
I have purchased from them in the past (not as far as April with the Veja launch) and further more, Pascucci limited editions etc and had never had an issue.
To me this was a deal breaker, and the fact that there is NO PHONE to contact them urgently when you need to is even ilegal in my country.
Anyway, products are nice, but so are so many other brands that have no issue shipping to Europe. I do not recommend buying from them unless you live in the USA.

This is not a luxury brand

This is not a luxury brand, the quality does not live up to the pricetsg..
I bought a coat for over 2000eur. And after 10 times of wearing, the seams totally opened up they refused to take responsibility, saying that their warranty is without wear and just a Year .. .thats like joke. So to sum up..low quality, High prices, No customer service..

Worst custom service ever!

Worst custom service ever!
I have tried to get in touch with the custum service over 10 days. I got an answer from someone called Ester but when I wrote back to her I didn´t get any answer. Then I wrote back to the custom service and haven´t got any feed-back in 7 days!
If I don´t get a really good discount code I won´t buy anything from this company!

Avoid this company

I received a bag that does not have anything to do with the images on the website. The craft is very poor and it does not look like the same bag.
I have been trying to contact Mansur Gavriel to return the item for a refund for several days. No reply after four days. Good luck with them if you decide to take the risk to buy an overpriced bag that is going to be a bad surprise. Avoid.

Unresponsive customer service

I love their products but the email I sent them on 12 Jul on an order has been unanswered for 9 days.

Not sure if I’ll ever get a reply 😒 and hate it when companies let you don’t this way.
