Mano Mano Data Breach is Extremely Worrying
Horrified to receive an email yesterday, informing me that there has been a major data breach of Mano Mano customers, and all my personal details have been compromised. It appears this has occurred through a third party customer services provider, used by this company. A provider based in North Africa. Reading around the financial internet, it would appear this is a bigger breach of security than Mano Mano are stating. I am livid about this and now have the additional concern of having to be even more vigilant, in a world where we already worry about data and ID frauds. This company should be investigated by the appropriate authority, as this is a very alarming situation, clearly brought on by their decision to prioritize costs over good customer security! My family and I will ensure we do not trade with this company again!

They sent an email stating that my customer data was stolen, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and customer service correspondence.
If you want to delete your account, you can only do so by contacting that same customer service team.
I would not create an account again and certainly would not buy anything on their website.

ABS MATERIEL. Lots of complaints about them. I should have read them before I bought. If my review saves one person from these people then it is worth it. They don't accept payment by card, only bank transfer. The goods don't arrive. It is theft. Fortunately my bank managed to stop the transfer but many other people have lost bigger sums. Do not buy from them!

I purchased a lawn trimmer six months ago, and after only a few uses, the engine stopped working. When I reached out for a refund, I was informed that they couldn't process it because of the time elapsed. This product is clearly of low quality, and the customer service was unhelpful. Stay away from ManoMano, they don’t offer customer protection

I bought a jumper starter with battery. When I tried to use it for the first time, it simply wasn't able to start the car.
Manomano asked me now to make a Video to prove that it did not work. I tried to explain that I cannot willingly discharge the battery of my company car for this and wanted to send it back.
They just told me that they cannot do anything.

The reply via yourselves from ManoMano from Abby which gave no contact address. Hence the reason for sending it back via Trustpilot. The contact we received on the 25/08/22 was from David.G to myself, Haydn order number M210127369586 the following email was from Sannce on 26/0822. Followed by another from David.G on the 26/08/22 which I replied to on 27/0822 ect, ect, ect which went on up until 25/09/22. Hopefully this will enlighten them as to my necessity of having to send my ordeal to Trustpilot. I have now also contacted ManoMano on live chat and was informed by them that there is absolutely nothing they can do to assist in this matter regardless that it was ManoMano who I paid in the first instance for the faulty equipment supplied. They have told me to go back to Sannce for them to deal with it which after over a month of correspondence proved fruitless. As previously mentioned, had I purchased through eBay or Amazon they would have asured that the seller would have sorted out the problem or would have reimburse me. Now more than ever my advice to anyone using ManoMano is DON'T

I ordered a tumble dryer. The website said delivery between 3 and 5 October 2022. On friday 7 october I informed them that I had not received my order, that it was now the weekend and therefore the dryer would be delivered even later. Their response today is as follows;

Once the order is picked up by transport, he is responsible for meeting the delivery deadlines stipulated by them.
We made the shipment on time, and as I see it is at destination with what they should call you to coordinate the delivery

It seems that all of these 1 star reviews ring true. Lesson learned and these companies wonder why the likes of Amazon are taking their business. My whole reason behind ordering from ManoMano was to give them a piece of business.

Very bad delivery service
I understand why this company has 82% bad reviews, we order online several packages per week, but so bad delivery and service they provide are absolutely unbelievable. We have this week 7 shipments most from Amazon that always delivers correct but we have 2 deliveries of Mano Mano and both have gone wrong. We will never ever use this online website again just stories but no delivery or solution.

Garden lounger set £399.99 These units took A LONG time to put up, and this was the opinion of a precision engineer! This week both of the cushion covers have developed holes in the gusset type of flap that keeps the covers in place on the base. When you sit on the bed, the cushions slip down about 4”, putting a lot of strain on the flap at the top of the cushion which is holding it onto the top of sun bed- bad design flaw, the stitching and dart are not strong enough to support the cushion on the bed. that is all we have done on them, sat on them. I approached Mano Mano customer services, both by email and phone, 01777 808005. There appears to be something very odd with this companies compliance with consumer legislation of 2015, appear to pass on responsibility to the “seller”. The Seller offered me 20 pounds, then a further offer if £50 (written in poor English so I suspect this seller is not based in the UK) to retain the faulty covers and continue using the beds. Once the gusset flap fails you’ll be on the floor as the cover will slide off the bed. the covers have failed within 5 weeks, the covers will not stay on the bed if the support flap fails, which it has as holes have been worn through by the pressure on them. Also be weary of huge static build up if you wear synthetic clothing whilst sat on it, you will receive a massive shock from the metal frame if you touch it, and i mean massive. Wear only cotton clothing if you can. I have raised a dispute with Paypal. It is the first purchase with this what is a 3rd party platform and I won’t be making another. For the price of the units, not cheap, but both cushions have developed faults that affects the use of the bases they sit on. Avoid! Following on from my engagement with this company and it’s practices at ignoring requests for refunds for faulty goods, offering silly discounts, I think Trading Standards is my next point of contact.
Mano Mano is nothing more than a collector of revenue for the sellers on its platforms, that’s what 3rd party platforms are. Many of its sellers are possibly not based in the UK, this could be a route in for counterfeit and poor quality products that do not conform to UK regulations. I would guide anybody away from 3rd party platforms, sneaky, and illicit! if you have made purchases on mano mano PLATFORM and are having trouble obtaining a refund, claim back via chargeback on Debit Card, section 75 on credit card or via PayPal resolution service. Best of all, go somewhere else!!! I have reported this company to Trading Standard for not complying with UK consumer legislation. If enough people who have issues obtaining refunds for defective goods did this it would be suspended from trading. Anybody having issues with this company report to Trading Standard. Simple form, easy to do, the firm to complete is in the Citizens Advice website, or just search Trading Standards online. Most animals can be tamed with a good whip.

I've just spent £515.00 pounds with this company manomano but the sad part about this company is that they use third party companies who exploit their customers. We've purchased a pool & solar cover & top cover & the top cover was ordered wrongly & now vidaXL want to offer me just a partial refund & have asked me to keep the item. I contact manomano & the chat agent sent me a telephone number & abruptly shut the chat down on me. Luckily I made my purchase via PayPal so I've put a stop on the whole sale now until this is resolved. bad customer services, bad sale team work when they couldn't recognise the error of the sales invoice I mean what sort of people do they have working for this company. talk about pass the buck & leave it up to vidaXL to scam me over. DO NOT BUY FROM MANOMANO. Bought a nest of tables. The glass on the top was stuck on hanging over the end. Some of the paint work was bubbled. Went on to ManoMano and was assured it we be sorted out. No response. Tried again and was assured this would be dealt with. No luck. The seller is AINPECCA. So had to go onto them. Told to take pictures, which I did. Offered £10 off. Then offered more off. I just wanted a refund and instruction on how to return the tables. I have given up with ManoMano and Ainpecca. It should be ManoMano that deals with Ainpecca not me. I have read some of the reviews about this Company and I warn anyone thinking of buying from them (or their supplier). DONT. Also I am left with a large box sitting in my living room for weeks on end to be returned
