I find Malwarebytes to be less agressive in their marketing than other companies who in my experience have behaved almost like protection rackets. I get the impression that they just do their job honestly and don't give me any hastle and give bulletins of the latest scams and threats along with good tips and advice.

All in all, I've been very pleased with the Malwarebytes service. Easy to use the products.

I asked that my auto renewal be cancelled and have yet to receive an acknowledgment. I will be attending my bank April 7, 2026 to ask them to reverse your Visa charge.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

I love malware-bytes and use it on my laptops and the desktop that holds all my data. It works great on laptops that are on line all the time. But my desktop I put only when I need too. Every time my desktop had not been on line for a while, Malware-bytes has de-activated itself. And then I need to spend time (that I do not have) to go to the mail website, log in, and activate the same desktop again. This is so annoying. I have had malware-bytes on this desktop for years. but if I do not go on line all the time, it deactivates itself. Can you do something about this?

Previously I had one of the big ones, I kept getting popup adds and switched to Malwarebytes. It took a couple of weeks but since then I have not gotten any popups. Very happy with their service.

Last Sunday I went onto what I thought was Malwares website, and started applying for an upgrade in protection - mainly for my private information.
During the application, I was asked my social security number, my bank account number, and my mother's maiden name. Thinking that I was on a secure website with a firm who was a security keeper, I answered all three questions.
After I could not finish the application, I got very suspicious, and went back to the Malwarebytes website, where I was told the Malwarebytes never asks for social security number, bank account or mother's maiden name.
I knew then that I was in trouble - so I called my credit union and reported what I had done. Now they have blocked my debit card - so I can't buy anything online.
They are also putting my account under review. I hope
that I do not lose my account with my credit union.
I was advised by my credit union to call Experian, but I cannot get their protection because my debit card is
blocked. I also cannot buy added private protection from Malwarebytes for the same reason.
I am extremely frustrated at the state of affairs I am in.
I got a message, supposedly from Malwarebytes, and a message popped up that this message was suspicious, and not to open anything unless you know this is a legitimate message from a legitimate company
(or words to that effect). I just don't know who to trust online any more. I don't even know that I am really writing to the Malwarebytes that I have had for my computer for years.
I am hoping and praying that you are legitimate and can help me.

p.s. I don't have a record of my password with you, so I will have to get a new one, if that is possible. I am
94 years old, and just trying to hold everything together.

I have used Malwarebytes for maybe 6-7 years and it's never failed me. Very confident in the service.

I've been using Malwarebytes exclusively on my PC and my Mobile for a couple of years now. It is excellent and far less expensive than the big name, big price tag, antivirus I was using before. I recommend it highly.

Excellent. I used Malwarebytes some time ago just to test it out and it worked great and found no issues. Downloaded it again today and installed and ran faultlessly, it had a lot of new features - even allowing me to check what other sites may know about me on the dark web and dealing with any finds. I thoroughly recommend this excellent app and I'll certainly be buying it at the end of this month.

No fuss protection at a affordable price.

I have used Malwarebytes for a number of years now. I feel totally confident when using the Internet that I am protected from any malicious attack. Malwarebytes was easy to install and came at a great price. I am able to tailor the programme to my needs to add greater protection without any in depth knowledge of how it works - very user friendly.

All I did was download the App on my phone.
I did not subscribe to anything.
This App is not to be trusted.
Today I have had to get both a new credit card and a new bank card.
$44.99 was just taken from my card.
I contacted my bank and showed them the screenshot to prove I had no subscription with this company.
Stay AWAY from this company.

My account had multiple and overlapping subscriptions for different Malwarebytes cover. I really had messed up things. Jovelyn Y., Malwarebytes representative, looked into things and notice all the subscriptions. She was able to clean things up and even able to refund some money back to me for the different subscriptions.
I am very thankful for getting this sorted and cleaned up. I had no clue other than I thought I had multiple subscriptions. Finally, things are in order and this is because of her looking into everything. A huge thank you!!

Update to my review
Malwarebytes works great on my Windows 11. I have no problem with it. Also I love the automatic renewal process Every year I have to update my credit card on all sites I have auto pay, but so far only Malwarebytes has had the courtesy to inform me that I needed to update my payment. Thanx guys/gals. Don't remember the exact date.
