Excellent service

Excellent service. I ordered two bottles late at night that were dispatched first thing the following morning and arrived the day after that. M & S also use Royal Mail rather than a parcel delivery firm which is another positive.

Great service

Great service. The second time I’ve ordered from Malts and Spirits and have found the communication, packaging and shipping to be great on both occasions.

Charged 15% for cancelling order

I placed the order at 7 PM, 9 PM I realised it was the wrong bottle, I emailed straight away to cancel the order. By this point, order was not processed or dispatched. Next morning I got an email, where I was told they will be charging 15% for cancelling my order.
How do you justify £10 deduction for an order which was cancelled with couple of hours?
I found their service very poor and unreasonable. For this reason, I do not recommend anyone to use this company.

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our policy, however we incur costs associated with processing payments and orders that are normally absorbed within the product costs. When a customer cancels an order we do not receive a refund of the transaction fees , we also have the administration costs of cancelling the order, updating inventory, relisting the product and processing the refund as well as the management time in dealing with the request and associated communications: given that no sale has been processed these costs must be recovered. Our policies are clear to see and are on the home page of our website. We pride ourselves on the descriptions and photographs of the products that we sell which are designed to eliminate purchasing errors.
We have processed 1000’s of orders and our customers praise our service and delivery. I hope that you found the whisky that you were looking for. Slainte

The bottle was delivered within a few days as stated,well done Maltsandspirits.

Fast Delivery and Very Securely Wrapped

I ordered 3 bottles of Tomintoul 12 Year Old (2009 Limited Edition) Oroloso Cask Finnish on Sunday 6th Feb 21 via the website.
To my surpise and delight they were delivered by DPD courrier on Tuesday 8th Feb 21 - even more impressive when you consider I live in Bristol a good 400 miles from the shop in Perth!
The 3 bottles had been suberbly packed in special air bottle pouches and snug in a well wrapped strurdy box. I was also surprised and delighted to see that each bottle had been individually wrapped in bubble wrap inside the sleeve!
All 3 sleeves and bottles are in pristine condition - something of a rarity these day with some mayny things now been ordered on-line and arriving in poor and/or damaged condition due to insufficient care by the sender.

10/10 Malts & Spirits 👍😊
