I had a great experience with this company! They were incredibly fast in answering all of my questions about the product, which made the whole process so much easier. Every interaction I had with them was respectful, polite, and genuinely helpful. It’s clear they value their customers and take pride in offering excellent service. I highly recommend them!
Avoid at all costs, customer "service" is a joke
I ordered an item from Maison Flaneur at the start of October. At the start of November, I had to follow up to ask if they'd sent it as I had not received any tracking information. Their response was that they had "just noticed" that the order had not been logged in the system. After I asked to at least have the cost of my shipping refunded, they offered some compensation and we agreed to terms, and they said they'd mail my item.
I still didn't receive a shipping notification, and then today I received an email that said they'd mailed it to the wrong client and so had to cancel my order. What kind of sense does that make?
They're an absolute joke from start to finish, use their site to find beautiful things and then do your best to buy directly from the brands themselves. I'm sure when they're good, they're good, but signing your emails with a flower emoji doesn't actually create a good experience when your communication with customers is this awful.
Lovely light and great service
I received a quick and friendly response to my inquiry about the beautiful Conical Pendant Light. I also appreciated that the cord could be adjusted to perfectly fit the height of my ceiling. I’m really looking forward to hanging it in my home soon!

Smashed plate- no refund!
Purchased a lovely plate for my sister’s engagement gift. Unfortunately the plate arrived smashed after being packaged in a box which wasn’t the right size. I contacted customer services who didn’t reply. After my 3rd email I finally got a reply saying it wasn’t their fault and to take it up with the courier. They didn’t want anything to do with it. Still waiting for a reply to my last email. Not impressed! Especially as the plate is not just a run of the mill plate and is a really special and expensive one. How can any company who offers a home delivery service wash their hands of the delivery aspect?!
Update- following my review I was contacted and told a new plate would be sent out to me. This has not happened despite me chasing again. Honestly can’t believe how awful the customer services of this company is! Going to have to go through my credit card company to get a refund. Awful!
Excellent Customer Service
I took advantage of a fabulous discount offered on a set of hand-blown glasses that I loved. Sadly, despite careful double packing, one glass broke in transit. I let Maison Flaneur know and immediately they sent out a replacement. No quibble, no difficulty, just swift and courteous customer service. We can't always prevent an accident happening, especially to fragile items, but a company is in control of how they respond to customers, and staff at Maison Flaneur showed the highest quality. I definitely will be shopping with Maison Flaneur again.

I ordered items as birthday gifts, with the expected delivery time of 2-4 weeks. Over 5 weeks later, they have not yet been dispatched. I asked Customer Services to refund the shipping fee (they did not offer) and instead they cancelled the order. When I got back in touch with Customer Services, they said I have to place a new order, and then they will refund the shipping. A very confusing process and still no idea when my items will actually arrive.

We ordered some placemats and napkins on 3rd August and have yet to receive them. We have to chase all the time and get 0 update on when we can expect them to ship. Do not bother ordering from this company!!!!
