Works well when it is running smoothly. If you have a serious issue with Mailjet, there is no technical support. Support tickets are not responded to. We were forced to switch to a different provider after many years with Mailjet. There is no point in returning.

I tested several tools and think that Mailjet is the best one. The interface is user-friendly. There are a lot of options to create and send the e-mails, and control the delivery. I have been using Mailjet for more than 8 years.

For years I am using Mailjet as my outgoing SMTP server for web applications and websites. Lately I had an issue related to the portal. The Helpdesk and the technical team solved the issue fantastic. The team contacted me several times and I seriously had the impression that I mattered. Apart from a great product also a similar support.

We were running legitimate, GDPR-compliant campaigns with first-party opt-in data, and suddenly our entire account was suspended without any clear warning or actionable explanation. Support responses were slow, generic, and clearly copy-pasted. Every reply felt like it came from a different person with no real understanding of the situation.
The compliance process is opaque and inflexible. Even after providing detailed answers about opt-in sources, list hygiene, and sending practices, the account remained blocked while “another group of colleagues” reviewed it. No timelines. No ownership. No urgency.
To make things worse, Mailjet allowed us to exceed our plan limits without proactive communication, and then used that as part of the justification to suspend sending entirely. This resulted in business disruption and forced us to urgently migrate to another provider.
If you are a growing business or run high-volume campaigns, be very careful. Mailjet may work for small, low-volume senders, but once you scale, the platform becomes unreliable and support is not equipped to handle real-world scenarios.
We are moving away permanently.
