I ordered a plain joggers and hoody…

I ordered a plain joggers and hoody tracksuit for work. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. The track suit is paper thin. The stitching is terrible. I ordered a size all my cloths are and I couldn’t even get half of my leg in the pants. This website is an absolute CON ! When you try and get a refund they offer you 10% then 20% off the item with no return. Now they have offered me 100% store credit but it would be cheaper for them to refund me as they said 40% of the cost is shipping. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE

I've had to put one star but honestly…

I've had to put one star but honestly it's not even worth that. The item was cheap rubbish advertised as a quality wool coat. More like a dressing up item. I would never order again through Hudson and Clarke as they've obviously not done any checks into this company about the quality of their items

Please don’t buy from this company

Waited for ages for what I thought was a sweatshirt of reasonable quality..(49.99)
What I received was a very thin tee shirt that I wouldn’t use for a rag… you could buy better in Primark..
Tried to get a refund and contact them via their email..
Funny old thing - doesn’t exist..
I wish someone would do something about these scammers..

DEFINITIELY NOT RECOMMENDED! As with other reviews, this is quite possibly the worst company I have ever bought anything from. I ordered a black puffer jacket on 14.11.25 which took weeks to arrive and was very poor quality. Since then I have had multiple emails back and forth requesting a refund, I was offered store credit and partial refunds and had to fight for my money back, despite the refund policy on their website. AI generated responses have been very frustrating. It cost me £30 to return the item to China (as that's where the warehouse is located despite the company being located in the Netherlands), the item was in customs for weeks with me having to request updates weekly, and then I was told I had to pay the customs clearance fee which was deducted from my final refund. I finally received a refund this week but am still £60 out of pocket. I wish I had read these reviews before buying! Please don't waste your money or your time buying from this company.

Company sent sub standard goods and…

Company sent sub standard goods and there were delays - when it finally arrived items were awful quality compared to the description and it has cost me nearly £40 to return the goods and pay the customs fee (which they don't make clear either) Sickly nice response but basically taking your money and not giving a refund without significant cost and effort to the buyer. Items are made in China not Europe as the website suggests

Returned Item 'Stuck in Customs'

I received a refund for the dress at last and am still out of pocket because the return postage is not refunded. Always read returns policies.

I was asked to return an item which was unfit for purpose, at my expense, to China. Almost a month ago, I was advised that the item was 'stuck in customs'. No-one in customer support has contacted me since. The stuck in customs response also came with the offer of a 50% refund for an item which was unfit for purpose and ordered in October 2025. The response today has been: "Dear Julia,

Thank you for reaching out, we truly appreciate your patience.

I’ve checked the latest status of your returned parcel, and here’s where things currently sit. The item has arrived at customs and is being held there while a clearance fee of £8.99 is settled. This step is, unfortunately, one of those unavoidable pauses in the process, and it’s the reason everything has felt a bit stuck.

To keep things moving and spare you any extra admin, we can cover this customs fee on your behalf. Once paid, the parcel will be released and continue its way to our warehouse for final inspection. The £8.99 would then simply be deducted from your total refund once everything is completed. It’s usually the quickest and least painful way through, if I’m honest.

If you’re happy for us to proceed this way, just let me know and I’ll take care of it straight away. As soon as the parcel clears customs and reaches us, I’ll update you again so you’re not left wondering what’s happening next.

Thank you for your patience, Julia. I appreciate it’s been a drawn out process, and I’ll make sure you’re kept properly in the loop from here on.

Do not use this company we bought a…

Do not use this company we bought a coat and thought the company was European when it came it was substandard and we wanted to return it. They tried very hard to persuade us with deals not to then we returned it. It had to go to China costing nearly £30 One month later we query and they said it was held up in Chinese customs and will cost us another £20 to get it released they would pay this for us but deducted from the final refund so for a £98 coat it is cost us a total of £50 For returns and money to the customs nowhere where does it say this thing is from China? I would never use this company again and advise anyone to do

Another Chinese company!

Another Chinese company that give you the impression you are buying from UK or EU. Extended delivery dates. AVOID! That is unless you have 2 weeks (min) to wait. Ca't review the product yet as i haven't received the damn thing yet!!

Scamming alert, stay well away

The company are scammers, please stay away.
I brought my suit from these and it was in English pounds on the website, the returns address on my package said London, the website says Netherlands and then they emailed me to return to China.

The suit was not the same size, the same materials or design as shown on the website.

In the email they said I would receive full refund but then offered store credit of 25%.

It’s been awful experience and they are not a honest company.

I have had such as disappointing time…

I have had such as disappointing time with this company that looks European from the website but all returns were to China. Basically they were not happy to receive a return and made this difficult by the return to a Chinese warehouse, wanted me to keep the wrong sized product and once I went to paypal, started offering increases in refund which they withdrew after paypal closed the case. Much of the time I was communicating with bots. I would seriously avoid purchasing from them.

The dress was appalling quality

The dress was appalling quality.
For a "winter dress" thin and unwearable.
To achieve a 'refund' I have had to send back to China with appropriate return slip.
Still waiting for item to clear customs.
Never believe their advertising.
Very keen to show they are still listening.
Never again.

Not even one star

Not even one star. The company pretends to be in the Netherlands but the goods come from China. Bought a jacket it was trash. They make it so difficult to return items and you have to return them to China.
DO NOT BUY OFF THEM
They are Scammers.

The company hosts a website which appears to be in the Netherlands. Products are shipped from China. I bought a sweater I had looked at on the website after relentless offers of increased discounts. The sweater was eventually shipped and was of such poor quality that it is not going to be worn. It’s very difficult to return the products as although they have a return address that appears to be the UK, they have to in reality be returned to China. By the time their customer services have been negotiated, the return period has expired 🧦

Ordered a ladies winter coat, paper line poor quality. Don’t believe the Netherlands head office address this is definitely a Chinese company. Return costs are expensive and I fully expect there’s going to be a problem with my refund although I didn’t bother to take it out of the plastic wrapper. The whole package weighed 520 grams not heavy for a winter coat. Won’t get caught out again with goods from China. Diabolical service and goods.
