MA Driving School - Manual & Automatic  

I am thrilled to share that I passed my driving test today! A huge thank you to my instructor, Gee From MA Driving School who made this journey not only possible but also enjoyable.
From our very first lesson, Gee was incredibly encouraging and supportive. He has a unique ability to break down complex driving maneuvers into easy-to-understand steps, which really boosted my confidence. His patience and positive attitude made every lesson something to look forward to.

I took lessons in Cardiff. Mike did a great job of allowing there to be silence and conversation during lessons. He let me make my own mistakes, then would talk through what went wrong in an encouraging way. He is good in moments of feeling overwhelmed or stressed on the road. I passed first time, with Mikes help!

Passed 2nd time with MA. Murtz was kind of to fill in me in when I wanted to get my license soon. He gave me an amazing and great instructor Imraz, who was so patient and understanding throughout my lessons even after I failed first time - can’t thank him enough. Would recommend them and him to anyone needing to pass.

If you’re feeling nervous about learning to drive, I promise you’re in safe hands with Imran. I started my lessons feeling anxious and unsure of myself, but that changed so quickly. From day one, I felt comfortable, supported, and actually excited to get behind the wheel.
What I appreciated most was the patience and encouragement. Mistakes were never a big deal — they were just part of the process. Instead of feeling stressed, I felt like I was improving every single lesson. Imran’s advice was practical, easy to understand, and it really stuck with me.
By the time my test came around, I wasn’t panicking — I felt ready. And I passed! I genuinely couldn’t have done it without such calm, positive guidance. If you’re thinking about starting lessons, don’t hesitate — you’ll be so glad you chose imran as your driving instructor.

I want to thank my instructor Ayesha who helped me to pass my driving test within a month. She is very calm, reliable, patient, trustworthy and brilliant! Made me relaxed I was quite nervous to start with she is very calm and explained everything very well which made my driving lessons very simple and enjoyable.

Big thank you to Alex for having patience with me and helping me pass, would defo recommend Alex for all those who are wanting to drive. Ask for Alex at MA driving school if you want to pass and drive with confidence.

Brilliant helped me pass with no issues no messing around if they think your ready then your ready Mav is a top man cant thank him enough.

They’re probably going to reply to my review stating they have no account of me being a student or just report my review, ha! But my experience with them was horrendous. Had a good instructor at the start with them, but day before my test, I was informed of a change in cars and instructor. A reason was given of ‘the car had broken and wouldn’t start’. Then the boss of the company was the replacement and it was horrible. He was very aggressive, lacked emotional intelligence, very impatient and had zero empathy. Had the audacity to come late and berate me for my nerves. Blind sided me and reduced all the confidence I had built. Refused to clarify any issues nor accepted any questions being asked. Waste of time and money. Would not recommend! If you do use them, toss a coin and pray you don’t get the boss.

Mo is just amazing, kind, and patient teacher who is a joy to be in the car with. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Took me a few attempts to pass as I was using different instructor, when youns picked up where my last instructor left there was a noticeable improvement in my driving but also my attitude and confidence. He was determined on seeing me pass, he did everything he could to keep me motivated and is very much an ideal instructor for all sorts of learners drivers

I can’t describe how grateful I am to Arfana for helping me pass first time in an automatic car. I had failed 5 tests and had 3 instructors before Arfana, and none of them gave me as much confidence. Arfana put me at ease every lesson and really helped me overcome my nerves. She taught me in a way that made sense to me and was always so patient and that helped me make so much progress. She is so kind and made me feel so comfortable behind the wheel. I couldn’t have done it without her - after years and years of learning, I passed with only two minors! I could not recommend more.

I can't recommend Humera enough as a driving instructor! Her patience and clear instructions made learning to drive a much less stressful experience. Thanks to Humera, I passed my test with confidence. If you're looking for a good driving instructor, Humera is the one to go with!

I had a great experience learning to drive with Maria, and I’m extremely happy to say that I passed my driving test on my first attempt thanks to her excellent teaching and support. I was very nervous at the beginning, but Maria helped me build my confidence step by step with her calm, patient, and encouraging approach.
I truly appreciate all her hard work, effort, and dedication. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a supportive, friendly, and professional driving instructor

I’ve had several driving instructors and been with different driving schools before, and honestly none of them compare to MA Driving School.

I’d previously been messed about, lost a lot of money, and had my confidence knocked after experiences with other schools. I was even travelling between Barnsley and Sheffield trying to get things sorted. Eventually, I realised these guys were on a completely different level.

My original test date was in May, but MA Driving School managed to get me a much earlier test for the same week. They organised everything quickly and professionally, put me on an intensive course, and focused purely on getting me test-ready — no wasting time, no false promises.

After just one focused week, I passed.

The instruction was structured, calm, and efficient. Everything had a purpose, and I finally felt like I was being trained properly rather than just paying for hours. After everything I’d been through elsewhere, this experience restored my confidence completely.

I won’t mention other schools because there’s no point — all I’ll say is that MA Driving School delivered exactly what they said they would. If I’d come to them first, I’d have saved time, money, and stress.
