Misleading delivery timeframes

Clearly advertised as an 8 week lead time. Ordered on 15th June. Only proactive communication I’ve had is order confirmation email that states “Here's what you'll be opening by 18th August”
Great! Only it’s not true. I have neither “opened” my new sofa nor been able to book a delivery as they are unsure when my sofa will be delivered to their warehouse.
Very misleading & frustrating experience. I’d order elsewhere.

If I could put zero I would. They keep cancelling my product via email and making me call customer service and refusing to give me a refund and telling me stories about "it's being processed in the warehouse". Then the next day a cancellation email and still no refund. It's been a nightmare and hours on the phone being put on hold with no one able or willing to help. AVOID THIS COMPANY and also avoid NEXT as they are now under that company which is equally horrible at customer service.

Honestly would put zeros stars if I could. I've had a sofa from these guys a little over a year and already it looks terrible. There are lumps and bumps all over where the foam and springs inside have just burst out the bottom. Every time I sit on it now I get back ache, there are several springs and pieces of metal poking out the bottom that hit the floor when you sit on it. Would have chucked it out ages ago if I had the money for a new one.The most uncomfortable sofa ever and the worst part is no one will help with a refund or swapping it for another! Such a bad company to deal with! Save you're money and spend a little bit more but get a 100000X better sofa that will last longer than a year!

going bankrupt. already knowing that they had liquidity problems but kept sending emails with 'special offers'. And now during liquidation process, starting over as if nothing happend. Prepaid around 1500 euro's for a sofa and due to liquidation maybe get 12 euro's back. A disgrace this company.

0 stars! Super expensive items and hortible quality. I have a sofa bed and the foam is rubbish, after just 2 years of light use (I don't spend much time at home) the foam is so compressed that the sofa structure digs in your legs, nevermind trying to sleep in it. It hurts just lying in there for 2 second. I regret wasting all those money on this piece of rubbish! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Please do not order from this company. About 1.5 years ago I ordered a dining table from made.com. The table cost over €900 but was never delivered. Turned out they went bankrupt but continued to take orders. To this day I have not seen a table and I have lost my money too. I recently find out made.com is now back online and is acting as if nothing happened. As far as I'm concerned it's just a scam.

Terrible chairs from made.com
I ordered chairs from made.com. They are very poorly made. One broke after only a few months. The others are wobbly and need to be tightened often. We are very dissatisfied with the chairs and the company’s response to our complaint. I will not order from them again.
I ordered a very expensive kettle
I ordered a very expensive kettle. It does not work. I tried to phone this company but gave up after 31 minutes. I wrote to them twice and have only had a we will get back to you response. If I had read these reviews I would never have used them. I want a refund.
Cheap furniture company
I bought a sofa at Made.com. The three-seater sofa broke after a year. It was enough for a person of normal weight to sit in the centre with a little more energy than usual, and the wood split in half. We phoned and sent photos. They replied after months that it was not a structural defect.
Unfortunately, I had the bad idea to buy also six chairs. After a year they were already cracked, and after two the upholstery fabric was falling to shreds. Same complaints, same answers. Need more comments?
NEXT does not pay back
I paid for 2 lights that never came and now NEXT states they cannot find the account anymore so they dont pay back

Boight a 700 euro couch last year, the Delphi. This year need to buy a new one, even though it has "10 year warranty".
Design is completely stupid. It is a sofa bed. When it's a bed, if you sleep on it, you will wake up on the floor, because it loses balance easily.
When it's a sofa, it's basically a piece of wood with almost no filling. I would rader stand on my feet then stay on te couch. I developed back problems for this piece of grabage. The warranty is for what? the wood frame?
Anyway, never buying at made.com again.
They prioritise investors over customers!
I made the order around late Oct, right before the bankruptcy announcements. Didn't hear from them at all until early Nov. I was having faith in them for fulfilling the orders. I was so happy when the delivery partner reached out with my scheduled delivery on 14 Nov. I genuinely wanted to receive the items but it all started getting fked up when the delivery partner called 2 days before the delivery saying that they had to send back all the furniture to Made because of the administration procedures and won't be delivering them to me anymore. I had to order a brand new bed immediately so that I didn't have to stay at a hotel. Luckily I got myself another bed. 10 days later, another delivery partner of Made called saying that they will be delivering everything in late Nov.
You can't do this to customers. At the moment, the Made management team only prioritises finding an investor to pay off their creditors but don't give a crap about customers. You can't just now randomly deliver a bed and keep my money when I was explicitly told that you won't fulfil orders anymore!
I will now go out of my way to follow the founder of this company, just so that I can avoid buying from any of his/her future brands!

I'm SHOCKED.
I wanted to look for some furnitures/accessories before Black Friday only to find out their business went bankrupt. I still have around 2k eur unfulfilled order.
There was no information send out to clients, no contact info left to learn more about the orders that were still pending.
Literally couple of days before the closure they were still sending out newsletters.
I honestly don't know what to do now.
That's the only information I was able to get (as of 14/11/2022):
"The recent changes in MADE.com’s circumstances means that we are not currently able to process returns, refunds or order cancellations. Our customers are incredibly important to us and we realise this is disappointing. Although we currently don’t have timings, we hope to be able to restart processing refunds soon. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused."

After 7 days delay, we ask for tracking and they updated us with some delay problems.
After 15 days delay they informed us they will not deliver or return our money.
Of course this SCAMERS have the ordering system active to keep stealing from people.

Unresponsible Company
I ordered the furniture on April 26 and have been waiting for the item with my full patient for more than half an year, now got the news that they are going to be bankrupted so I will not get the furnuture and neither the money back. How could you do this to the customers, fraud each of your customer with hundreds of euros to maintain this year, this is definitely fraud.
I’ve been waiting 4 months for a refund
I have been waiting months and months for a refund. They took all my dining chairs which were damaged, I had to wait months for them to sort out a collection and now after months of constant email exchange and no sign of a refund I’ve heard they’ve gone into administration and I’ve lost my money as well as left with no chairs for my dinning table. Disgusted with their service.
Cannot get in contact
They got great stuff but getting in contact with them is impossible. Our house got on fire and I wanted to change the address but this could only happen via made.com. There’s nowhere to reach and they never respond to email. It’s kinda disappointing. I still haven’t gotten my item.

Despite having issues in the past, we trusted Made again because we loved its design and quality/prize. We went in August to the showroom in AMS and had an amnazing service, we received murboards with free advice for our whole house renovation. This went great, the lady in charge did an amazing job! She understood our needs and helped us tremendouy! So we ordered immediately after the items. All of a sudden, we received an alert that 80% of our order was delivered in a postNL location (including chairs and a stone table!). We were really disappointed as expensive items like those are not meant to be stored everywhere but to be delivered door-to-door (as per prior agreement). So we made our first complaint. A week later we received at home a bed (slightly damaged) and a kitchen table (smashed). We raised another complaint and asked for a replacement (that we are still waiting). Kitchen chairs and fauteuil are still pending from that order. On October 20 we made a second order for the matraas, and October 26 Made.com closed their website! In total, we are still missing 2800Eur in furniture...
Big Scam
Hello,
We ordered a £1500 sofa. Which took 14 weeks to arrive.
When it arrived it was heavily damaged (the inside storage part of the sofa broke in multiple areas) which is not surprising looking at how it has been packed. It was just 4 light pieces of carboard to protect corners, the whole wrapped in some plastic.
For a pricy sofa we found that some parts are extremely cheap. very cheap plastics.
The velvet color is not uniform either. some parts of the sofa have a different blue shade than the rest.
I wrote an email to MADE but it looks like everyone left the company and they are not proceeding to refunds or returns. so the end story is we got scammed £1500 because we have a unusable sofa.
Never again buying anything from this company. it is a shame to let customer like that.
