I reached out to Macback to sell a 2018 Macbook Pro laptop. The process to ship it to Macback was okay and didn't take very long. Of note that they reduced my quote in half after inspection due to battery issues, which wasn't great but understandable. Unfortunately they went radio silent after I provided information to receive payment almost two months ago, I have sent countless emails and tried calling the listed phone number on their website only to get a "Mailbox full" automated message. Probably a good idea to stay away from this company.

Honestly I was skeptical at first they were very nice very helpful! Make sure I understood everything and always kept me up to date. Very fast process good price!

Sent them my Mac which was in as new condition and in original packaging, however having noticed that it has a couple of pixels not firing (we had never noticed in every day use) they downgraded it from an A to C which felt somewhat harsh.

However true to their word they sent the Mac back in its original packaging using next day delivery at no charge to me.

If you are looking to sell it’s worth going over your screen with a magnifying glass so that you can avoid the disappointment I experienced, however I can’t fault the service.

My experience with Macback could not have been better. I have used other electronic buy back companies in the past and they have always tried to ding me on the trade in and lower the pay out price. Macback did not do that and they simply paid me the same amount as the quote. Heather at Macback was delightful to converse with and she was quick to respond to my questions via email. I would recommend the company without any reservation. The price they paid for my Macbook was also much higher than other websites too.

I needed an update to my tenderly cared for MacBook Pro mid-2015 model. I decided the MacBook Air with the M1 chip would meet my current needs. As a Costco member I figured I would use their sell-back program to apply the funds to my purchase. I'm told it is worth $505 but upon inspection they tell me $185 with no explanation whatsoever. For that I'll give it away.

Instead I did a bit more online surfing and found Macback. I get an estimate that isn't as high as Phobio but still a fair buyback. I submit and wow! Heather writes me to confirm receipt. I actually have a person to walk me through the process and keep me up to date.

A few days after shipping I'm informed the value estimated is accepted in full. Later that day the money is in my PayPal account.

I sent my Macbook Air for a promised price of $200 and I graded my computer as a B. She emailed me and said she would give me $85..claiming that it had a teeny tiny missing screw and that it needed a new battery and that my solid state drive was just ready to die. Long story but the good news is that she did return it to me. The better news is that I took it straight to a local buyback store and he plugged it in right in front of me (while saying that he couldn't believe that she said it 'had quite a bit of scratches and nicks' as it looked very well cared for to him and he laughed at her comment that my 'solid state drive was going to fail very soon'. He asked for a copy of my email which I gladly provided to him. My computer had NO scratches and certainly no dents...which is why a friend told me to video my computer carefully before mailing it to MacBack. Anyway, he kindly offered me the $200 that MacBack had said that they would give me and I will send everyone I know to see him. Macback was a real disappointment and if you use them, make sure you take good photos before mailing any device to them.

Macback is a great company sold my 2014 MacBook Pro to them. Heather was great to work with lots of emails keeping me updated on things. I highly recommend them if you have a Apple laptop to sell, payment was very fast and I am a happy customer

I just sold my mid-2014 Macbook to Macback. I worked with Heather and the experience was very smooth. They received the laptop on Friday and I got paid on Saturday. I received the full amount estimated by the initial evaluation form. It was much nicer than having to deal with selling on eBay or Craigslist.

This was the easiest process I could have imagined. You don't have to pay shipping; they send your laptop back for free if you don't like the quote. I liked the quote. Had money sent to me within a matter of days. 10/10 would recommend.
