Very disappointing …

We have been dealing with both M1 Lawyers and ECC. We paid £14000 for their work. We do not think this was justified due to non correspondence with them. We were told from ECC that we could expect at least £60000 compensation from our terrible experience in Tenerife. It seems we have been conned yet again, and lost another pile of money to the Spanish. We were dealing with Sara Moya at M1Lawyers, and unless we phoned, we didn't hear anything. We were told by Sara, in March, that we should hear in about 6 months. To date nothing. We would like to have our£14000 back, as we feel nothing has been done. All this process started in March 2024.

I was contacted by M1 Legal regarding a…

I was contacted by M1 Legal regarding a potential claim against CLC/timeshare issues, and unfortunately, my experience raised numerous red flags, making me seriously question their legitimacy.

Here are the critical points I encountered:

High Upfront Payment: They demanded a significant sum upfront to initiate the process, which is highly unusual for legitimate legal services that often operate on a "no win, no fee" basis or with success-based commissions.

Absolute Guarantees of Success: I was promised the success of the case with a certainty that no legal process can honestly offer, as every outcome is inherently uncertain.

Pressure and Urgency: I felt intense pressure to sign contracts and proceed quickly with payments, with continuous urging implying "limited-time opportunities."

Lack of Transparency: Information regarding total costs, the specific legal strategy, and the professionals who would handle my case was often vague and insufficient.

Unsolicited Contact: The fact that they initiated contact with me, without me having sought them out, and with apparent knowledge of my situation with CLC, fueled my suspicions.

Based on these elements, I strongly advise against entrusting your case to M1 Legal. It appears to be an operation focused on securing upfront payments rather than providing genuine legal assistance. Proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before committing.

Excellent level of customer service.

The phone call was answered promptly by Sara Moyà. Conducted the call with a Friendly and professional approach. We felt we were listened to and all our questions were answered clearly and with patience. She suggested a plan and explained clearly and the steps she would take to fulfil our needs and checked with us that we were happy with it all. This resulted in us feeling confident that we could get a good and satisfactory result. Sara followed through on the plan promptly I received an email within the timescale and it contained answers to each one of our discussed issues. Sara was polite throughout and demonstrated a high level of customer service. This gives us confidence not to hesitate to contact the Company again. Thank you.

Brilliant result, and advice as recently as July 2023

I first came in contact with Ms Stoyanova and M1 Legal over a timeshare claim in 2013 this was complicated and this lasted until 2018 involving the ombudsman. During this time I was kept informed by Ms Stoyanova and her staff who were always happy to help, informative and attentive.
They continued to be so even on several occasions when I needed to ask for advice as recently as 2023.
