Kept us waiting on the tarmac for 30mim after landing then a furthe 20min in a bus, all in Barcelona their base.
Then they lost my luggage, didn't deliver it when the squad they would, gave it to a courier who then was apparently uncontactable who had run off with my bags.
What a joke!!
Dishonest, false savings
Our flight was full and they offered us a better alternative time. We accepted. Foolish mistake as this was nothing more than a scam. The alternative flight we chose was full so they moved us to the next day. They admitted this. No consultation or agreement by us.
Regardless, they refused to change our flight to the day we needed without paying €500 - ridiculous and unaffordable.
This put our travel plans in turmoil, and cost us another night’s accommodation, a lost tour booking (no refund) and lots of time and hassle.
They said we had a voucher in our names, but as we don’t live in Europe so that’s useless to us.

Stay a million moles away from this crowd. Booked a flight with this shower of pricks during the summer and just before we were die to go on holidays we found out the flight had been cancelled. We didn't receive any notification and we've now been told that we're not entitled to a refund as the flight wasn't affected by cancellation. What an absolute joke. The flight didn't go, that route is still not going since then. This company and others such as Kiwi are s complete disgrace and need to be held accountable for this behaviour. They must be making a fortune in non return of refunds. Anyone else have similar experiences? Legal action is a serious consideration at this point.

I wouldn’t recommend Vueling
I wouldn’t recommend Vueling. Though initial price was low, additional fees were exorbitant & customer service was not knowledgeable or helpful. For example, I purchased 1 checked bag for myself & my spouse & 1 overhead carry-on, but only 1 appeared when I checked in along with an overhead carry-on. The attendant said that was fine to use the 2 bag tags for our 2 checked bags & that my carry-on didn’t need a tag anyway. So I thought that was all set till I realized I had a pending charge on my boarding pass for excess baggage. I had to pay 204 euros for a 2nd bag whose cost should have been only 35 euros. Even customer service wouldn’t help in resolving the mis-understanding & only said I had to pay or I couldn’t fly. So I paid with no satisfaction from either the attendant when first checking in or the customer service rep when who were both uninformed &/or not helpful. Additionally, charging FastTrack was a joke as there was no added benefit at the time we checked in. And charging for bags purportedly because they wouldn’t fit under the seat in front of you & had to go overhead was both inaccurate as measurements were totally incorrect. We paid for 2 carry-ons to go overhead but both fit fine under the seat in front of us. Bottom line, flight was just ok but totally overpriced, misleading, & bad customer service-do NOT fly Vueling.
Avoid at all costs!!
Our 9.10am flight to Barcelona on 21 August was cancelled at very short notice. We were re-booked for the following day without any consultation (this was the start of a family holiday with our daughter and her family, including two children aged 12 and 7). Absolutely no Vueling staff available at Gatwick airport to talk to, and hardly any communication other than random inaccurate notifications. We were not offered any vouchers by anyone. Ground Handling staff were overwhelmed by angry passengers demanding information - but they said they didn't know what was going on either....
We have lodged compensation claims for flight delay, which in no way mitigates the inconvenience and loss of enjoyment suffered. We have also submitted receipts for expenses incurred. Whilst waiting for our revised flight we noted from the Vueling website that another flight to Barcelona was cancelled the same day, and that all the others were delayed as a knock-on effect.
Our return flight was also delayed, although by less than an hour. The gate was changed without notification, which caused worry for some passengers. One family of 4 with two young children were told the flight had been overbooked and only two of them would be able to take the flight. Again, no Vueling staff were visible and the mother was reduced to walking around the departure area begging people to swop flights with her to allow them to travel home as a family....Unbelievable....
Unreliable Service, Poor Support, and Lost Trust
This airline started with great service, but it has now become a complete disappointment. I booked a round-trip ticket and missed my outbound flight due to incorrect information displayed on their website. Unfortunately, I did not have a screenshot at the time, but I immediately attempted to contact their advertised 24-hour support line. Every call was disconnected. I even asked my partner in Spain to call from abroad, and he experienced the same issue with no successful connection.
Left without support, I had no choice but to return to my accommodation and purchase a new ticket at full cost. During that booking, I encountered another website error, which I was able to document with screenshots. When I reported these issues, the airline denied any fault on their side and dismissed the evidence I provided, which was highly unprofessional.
I have previously been a loyal customer and even used their priority services on multiple occasions. However, after this experience of technical failures, lack of customer support, and refusal to take accountability, I will no longer be flying with this airline.
