I took my license at LZ Driving School in english. I had an AMAZING driving experience throughout. I passed my theory and practical in the first try. I am deeply grateful to Ivan for his dedication as a teacher and mentor. His guidance and suggestions have been invaluable to me. To top it off, Ivan is really witty and sweet. I wholeheartedly recommend LZ Køreskole. When it comes to preparing for your test with enjoyment and achieving success, there's no better choice.

I had the absolute pleasure of being taught under Jonas Zeraiq, and he was just incredible at his job! From the very first lesson, I had a feeling of being in great company, alongside my fellow students (even though I was clearly the elder among them) whom I just had the best time learning with.

Jonas himself was hilarious to be studying under, and he is really quite sweet and incredibly patient with me throughout the whole process. I never once felt stupid, even though I made mistakes, of which he was very good at subverting into a learning experience and explaining how to improve on all the specifics I was still in doubt over.

By the end of it, I was totally and completely confident in my ability to pass my theoretical test - and I did, first try! Next, I had one hiccup during my first driving test, failed it - but came back even stronger the second time around, passing it! And I can only thank Jonas for his stellar work instructing and teaching!

Thank you so much to the team at LZ, and especially thanks to Jonas for some amazing rides in his company! It really made driving a pleasure for me! I can only recommend a driving school so much... so just GO LZ! Hafla hele vejen ;)

Finally, I got my Danish driving license after numerous of practice, struggling and fails after so long time. When the time of "pass" came, words could not express my mood and feeling. Of course, I would like to give a big thumb-up and gratitude to my instructor Ivan Rostrøm, for his patience, professional, sense of humor, and especially never giving me up.

As a guy from Asia with 0 previous driving experience, and a university professor, I never thought it was so hard to get a driving license. Thanks to Ivan, I made it eventually, especially after experiencing another bad driving school in the first beginning in Odense. Ivan is always trying to find a suitable way to explain driving skills according to the students' needs and personality and he is always patient to endure my complains and some arguments (a bad habit as a university teacher). I really appreciate that.

Overall, a huge recommendation for Ivan from LZ Køreskole, especially for those who have none driving experience before and eagle to have a danish driving license.

Today I passed my driving exam in English. My instructor, Ivan, was exceptionally competent at teaching in English and highly professional. He prepared me very well for both the theory and practical exams. He was very friendly and easygoing, but nonetheless identified the particular areas where I needed most instruction. I can say with confidence that he chose exactly the right number of lessons to be ready for the practical exam, neither too little nor too much. We adapted lesson times to my work schedule as needed.

Though I did not meet many others at the company, it always seems professional and well-organised, and I have no doubt the other staff provide equal levels of professionalism. They provide all the necessary services to pass, including a first aid course, and a translator at the practical exam.

I am very thankful to Ivan for being such a good teacher and a good mentor. He is showing his dedication since starting day in the course till the end. He is the best in Denmark as being Driving instructor in English. And finally I can never stop of his voice in my brain such as " mirror, mirror, shoulder! " :)))

Ivan is a fantastic instructor who willingly puts his heart and soul into each and every student’s tuition.
The English tuition cannot be faulted even though “English is not his first language” ;)
I would go as far as to say he is a role model in his chosen profession.

I'm from England and taking your drivers licence in a different country can be a bit nerve-wracking, but the whole time Ivan managed to do a brilliant job at making me feel comfortable behind the wheel, and on the road. He did an amazing job as a teacher, but the best part is he talks to you like he is your friend, which made me feel a lot more relaxed and able to focus and take in information. If you want to pass your test and have a fun time doing it, then choose LZ Køreskole!

Ivan (Rostrøm) was pretty supportive and kept a really positive attitude through my whole learning journey, always checking if the pace was comfortable or challenging enough.

About my experience:
My journey was a bit lengthier than expected or than I wished, for different reasons including long waiting time for the slippery road surface classes (due to changes in their policies regarding english speaking students), relatively long waiting time for the theory test and due to the severe stress I experienced in the first year that I moved to Denmark. Also I failed the driving test twice for what could be some of the dumbest mistakes in history ever at a driving test haha. But I eventually got my license 🤩 and I cannot be happier.

Pros: Fun and dynamic classes
Can be better: Books or printed material 🤓for us the visual learners. I recomend this book: “Ordinary cars” which covers what is said in the classes and detailed explanations on certain topics. A bit outdated in some things but good for general reference and safe driving.

I am happy to share that I passed my driving test on my second attempt with LZ Køreskole in Odense! As someone originally from Latvia (we have some stories there), finding a trustworthy driving school in Denmark was extremely important to me. And I did find exactly what I was looking for with LZ school and my instructor, Ivan Rostrøm.

Ivan provided a trustworthy and understanding relationship from start to finish.

Some examples:

1. I had taken some lessons in Latvia prior to starting with LZ, so it took me the whole course here in DK plus four extra lessons. When evaluating my skills after the required 8 lessons, Ivan suggested two to four additional lessons but never pushed me to take them. In fact, even when I scheduled four, after the third one, he suggested not taking the fourth (although I took it anyway). This was exactly what I expected from a driving school in Denmark - honest and caring relationships.

2. In the beginning of my practical lessons, I asked Ivan to push me a bit more so that I could be ready after eight lessons. And that's exactly what he did! It was challenging at times, but it was worth it. Ivan's approach saved me a lot of money in the long run, for which I am grateful.

Overall, Ivan was fantastic! He was patient (in moments a bit strict), understanding, and pushed me as I asked. The curriculum covered all aspects of driving, and I felt 100% prepared for the exam. Ivan was always there to answer any questions in chat, even on weekends or late nights.

I also want to highlight the other lectures, which were great too. The First Aid course was amazing, and I felt like I was part of a wonderful theater performance (I won't spoil it for you, but it was on point!).

I highly recommend LZ Køreskole to anyone looking for quality driving instruction, especially with Ivan as their instructor. Thank you, LZ, for giving me the skills and confidence to become a safe and responsible driver!

Not only was he thoroughly professional, but also his sense of humor eased the nerves and the translator provided was of high quality. If you need to convert your existing license to a Danish one, just step in the direction of LZ Køreskole.

Best driving school in denmark. If you get Ivan as a teacher, just know, you will definitely pass, with flying colors. Really funny and cool guy.

My instructor was Ivan Rostrom and I opted for LZ school, and I would like to say that I was fortunate to get him as my instructor. He was very professional and understanding. He helped me understand the common mistakes, rules etiquettes and was very reasonable. I really liked how he maintained his composure throughout the test and continued to be patient. He was able to calm my nerves and helped me stay focused so that I could focus on driving. Questions are always welcome which meant I could just ask about every little or big thing I didn't get during the lessons. Theory lessons were well structured and presented with a sprinkle of jokes and I was looking forward to every driving lesson - they felt as a calming break in the rushed everyday of a parent with small kids.

In the begging I thought Ivan was too rough but he build me to be courageous when the test inspector came, I was full of courage , trust me he knows what he is doing he build you up very well, he doesn’t want a student of his to fail, go for Ivan and you will not regret , listen to him and you will come up with flying colors.

A lovely school in the heart of Odense, where the theory is taught in ideal portions and prepares you just right for the theoretical exam. The lessons are certainly not too dry or make you fall asleep even after a long day at work, in fact, Ivan does a great job at keeping students engaged and participating.

The driving lessons are nice and if you're lucky to get Ivan as your instructor, they're fun as well. Patient (so you can ask any question that crosses your mind about 'car' or 'traffic things') but knows when to push to get the best out of his students.

The missing star is, as others have mentioned before, the time between finishing the lessons in the package and the actual exam has been over a month later, which in turn requires extra money for the additional lessons. The course also does not provide any books or online theory test access, so that will have to come out of your pocket as well - of course, they're not mandatory as you can do just fine with the lessons in-person but practice makes perfect. So, something to keep in mind.

LZ Køreskole is a great place to learn driving, they offer a simplified structure for exam preparation that doesn't overwhelm you with unnecessary information.
I was a transfer student from Copenhagen, took my practical test in Odense and my experience was great. I PASSED!!
My instructor Ivan Rostrøm , is very professional, patient and knowledgeable about all things driving/cars/tips & tricks for test preparation,parking, etc.
I enjoyed our chats on our drives and feel much more confident and competent as a driver.
I would definitely recommend learning with LZ Køreskole & specifically for English speaking Internationals.

When I applied to get a driver's license to LZ Køreskole, I was unsure of my ability to speak English. Besides of that, I felt I am too old to learn anything new. So I was passive and didn't ask anything to Ivan Rostrøm, our instructor, in theory class.

But this did not last long. Ivan's way of teaching and building motivation to be active in class made me no longer think about my mediocre English skills. He tried to understand my questions.

Likewise when practicing driving on the road. Ivan was very patient in guiding me and always reassuring me that everything will be fine, so that I can relax following the technical stages of driving and can achieve driving safety according to the standards given by Ivan.

In the end, I got my driver's license without the slightest problem. I feel very happy and proud. Frankly I am satisfied and recommend LZ Køreskole.

Taking the driving course at LZ Køreskole was a very nice experience. The entire course is very good preparation for driving. Especially practical part, which is always the most stressful for new drivers, prepares very well for driving. It is not only preparation to pass the exam, but is also a great start for future driving on your own.

If you are wondering which driving school to choose, do not hesitate and just choose LZ Køreskole. You will not regret it.

When I joined the Driver's license course, I thought I knew what to expect because I've had several friends do the test here. However, as I learned later, the theoretical test is very much a language test, with particular British English terms I was unfamiliar with. Fortunately, Ivan Rostrøm was ready and updated with the language they would use and did several trial exams in class. As a plus, we could reach Ivan on Facebook messenger if we had any questions while doing our home tests.

I passed the exam with flying colors on my first try.

While driving, we had a few hiccups until we found the learning style that would fit my personality. The great thing here is that Ivan was flexible in his teaching, which was essential for my learning.

Overall, I'm happy with the English course, but I was especially impressed by Ivan's detail preparing for the theoretical test. You may think this is not essential like I did, but I believe that passing that first exam on the first try can boost your motivation for the most challenging part of the license, which is the actual driving.

For all that and for the fun chitchats I could have with Aja, the test's translator, LZ koresole is highly recommended.

A big thank you to my instructor Ivan Rostrøm, he is very patient, understanding, professional and good motivator. Very friendly and good listener. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good driver. He gives different driving techniques and at the end of your course you will feel your confidence on the road, checking of mirrors and speed will become natural to you, he doesn't blame you if you did wrong instead he motivates you and lifts your spirit.
