Selling and buying a property is a very stressful period but at last we are nearly there with grateful thanks to Abi Gibbs.
Replies to her enquiries were often protracted giving rise to much frustration. It seemed we would never get there.
However, Abi managed to pull it all together to achieve and exchange date acceptable to all parties.

Lyons Bowe team throughout a property purchase and a sale have been great. We found the different dedicated teams who specialise in each stage of the process helpful and, importantly, responsive to queries at all times. Buying and selling property is stressful at the best of times; Lyons Bowe kept the stress to a minimum for us.

Rhea Strawford raised lots of queries related to my property purchase, which took some time to resolve, but everything was resolved in the end.

Our experience with Lyons Bowe was extremely stressful and disappointing as first time buyers. The whole process felt completely standardised, receiving more templated letters and emails than actual human interaction.

Whenever we did request contact from our solicitor we would have to wait for a significant amount of time before receiving a response via email only (at times regarding urgent matters). We could not once get hold of our solicitor on the phone, and were convinced that their direct dial went straight to voicemail regardless of whether they were in the office or not. At times we would attempt to call through reception (to no avail) and more times than not the telephone manner of the receptionist would be absolutely atrocious, and you were left feeling like you were a huge inconvenience for even calling.

Our solicitor would completely forget about the advice that they had already given us, and told us that we would need to take out an indemnity policy when they had already done this for us weeks ago. Granted our sellers solicitor’s were very slow, however there was no effort to chase this and it felt like our solicitor was happy to let things sit to the benefit of their other case load - even when we had tight deadlines to work towards with our ongoing tenancy agreement.

The only time we were actually able to speak to someone on the phone was when we reached the exchange and completion team. Lottie was absolutely brilliant, but has now left the company.
