I've been with Lux for a while and everything has been working fine. Their trading rules are sensible and I like the fact they don't have any time limit. Other firms with time limits on their evaluation turns it into a race and forces you to take greater risks. With Lux you can trade your system without modification also during the evaluation phase.
One thing I do find annoying is the sometimes very huge widening of the spreads (eg. in EURAUD from 8 pips to almost 40 pips) during rollover. For a swing trader like myself, this is a major inconvenience especially since this occurs during the night in my time zone.

Fraud company. There are 0 people who have ever proven to have gotten a payout from them. Aslo the funds are not real. They only deposit 5 % of the total amount you are funded and then tell you that you are risking to much and deny you your payout. You have been warned. Dont wast month of your life with them. they are truly evil.

They are the best prop firm in the industry. They are trustworthy and have been good to me the almost 1 year I have worked/ traded with them. Update: this review was made before I was profitable and knew the tricks of the prop industry

Very dishonest company in short a scam
LUX TRADING IS A CONFIRMED SCAM
I bought a $200,000 account with them in February 2024 and started trading very conservatively mostly, with my new strategy, $1 a point mostly with US30 only taking high probability setups, after about five days of trading I just wanted to check their reviews on Trust Pilot. My Jaw dropped when I went through reviews of testimonies of traders who have been scammed, after spending months trading and passing evaluation,
Lux Trading, came up with an unknown specified concept of no stop-loss and consistency rule and denied them a live account. I checked YouTube and even some traders had stopped trading their accounts because they strongly believed they would not be given a live account after trading for a minimum of 29 days. I continued to trade and then made sure I am more consistent with stop loss, I also noticed on my MT5 most of my trades were logged correctly stop losses and all but on my Lux Dash board some of my trades were logged not having stop losses, first red flag, i then finally exceeded my $12,000 6% target and looking forward to continue trading to cover the trades that did not have stop losses when i initially started but on the 29th trading day i got an email saying i will not be allowed to continue due to a bogus consistency rule and no stoploss on some of my trades. i remember there was no rule that stated to the max trading days was 29 and my account was disabled and had to purchase a reset. thus confirming other reviews that Lux Trading is not forthright in hard rules they emphasize draw-down limits and that the trading platform will automatically close trades without a stop loss, which is not the case, waiting for the trader, to trade months on end, and after achieving the 6% target before telling them you missed some stop losses on some of your trades is outright dishonesty.
in my case it took me over 700 trades to achieve the $12,000. target.
if I had gone to Trust Pilot first, I would not have fallen victim to their Shameful scam but on a positive personal note my trading strategy works, Warning to other prospective traders, don't be fooled by the shameful fresh-faced Oliver on You tube Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel comfortable with Lux Trading Firm and their business model looks solid compare to many of these other prop firms that er more like Ponzi Scheme.

I've given them 5 star before, but that is for customer service. now I want to revise it to 1 star because their risk desk.
FTMO has over 11,000 review. and still able to keep their 4.3 Star. Lux Trading has only 613 review but 8% of those is 1 star. that tells you something.
Below is my experience and Lux's reply, feel free to read through them.
Below is why I changed my view on this company. it might not happen to you but if it does, you have been warn.
--
you only allow to trade on their terms, even if you reached the profit target, but if you don't place a stop lost at the very beginning, they will flag you, and not let you pass stage 1.
I am a funded trader on other prop firms. and if you think you can use the same method with Lux Trading Firm, you will be totally wrong.
you have to adept to their trading rules, on their terms. it might not fit your trading style.
"Hello Freddie,
All prop firms have their own rules; you clearly did not read our rules, as you were only focused on getting to the profit target as soon as possible with high-risk trades without any SL!
As we are not like these simulated virtual prop firms you are used to we need to have rules in place that protect our real money investment in our traders. For this reason, we warn all our traders before they sign up and pay to read and confirm that they understand our trading rules. If you ignore this but confirm anyway, then you only lie to yourself and give us now a 1-star bad review for this that shows what type of person and trader you are!
Lux Trading Firm"
All my SL has marked on my TradingView alert, reason for that is i do not want the spread spake during rollover period to stop me out on my trade and I follow my manual SL . I just dont put it on MT5.
none of my trade is high risk, I only risking 1%, ie at most $500 per trade ( normally i can see if i am right or wrong after $100). all in all I have achieve the profit target.
if you want to attack me personally so be it, but i just want to warn other trader to be aware of this WILL happens to you if you don't follow LUX rules.
Email from Lux Trading update 6 June:
Dear Freddie,
We hope this email finds you well.
We noticed that you recently changed your review of our company from a 5-star rating to a 1-star rating, claiming that you were not funded despite reaching the profit target. We need to address this directly, as your statement does not reflect the full situation.
The reason you were not funded is because you broke several of our trading rules. These rules, which you agreed to follow, are designed to maintain a fair trading environment for everyone. It appears that these rules were not fully understood or adhered to in your case.
Despite this, we extended a free reset to you as a gesture of goodwill. This is not something we typically offer, but we do so for traders who work hard and take responsibility for their mistakes. Unfortunately, instead of appreciating this courtesy, you have chosen to publicly blame us and change your review in frustration.
We understand that trading can be challenging and that emotions can run high. However, it's important to handle these situations constructively. Your decision to blame us publicly despite our goodwill gesture is not the way to resolve this issue.
Given these circumstances, we want to remind you that the free reset was a courtesy. If you prefer to make such public statements, that's your choice, but you will need to cover any resets yourself as per our standard policy.
We value your participation in our trading program and hope you can understand our position. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this matter in more detail, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
The Risk Desk Team

So far, performing my evaluation, and hopefully will come back with another great review.
So far, everything is flawless: no slippage, spreads are more than reasonable, both MT5 and TLT at the disposal (TLT offers amazing risk management interface, allowing you to calculate position size and risk per trade precisely in literally 0.1%.
Support team always answered all my enquires quickly and precisely.
Dashboard updates literally in real time.
Most importantly, there are no any time limits to pass the evaluation, letting you trade at your own pace and wait for your setups to form, without the sense of urgency.
Scaling plan looks more than promising, allowing for more than doubling your account size for every 10% profit hit
If you decide to try your skills with Lux, you will find best trading conditions out there, but keep in mind of a strict risk mandate, that needs to be consistent throughout the whole trading period (I didn't like this at first, but came to understand why it is important and it helped me become a better trader that puts focus on preservation of the capital, not on profits - keep your risk tight and managed, and profits will follow :)
Lux literally "forces you" to risk no more than 0.3% of the remaining capital per trade (5% of the remaining risk capital), allowing for a cushion of 20 consecutive losses in a row before account termination, understanding that drawdown is inevitably with even the most profitable strategy.
They are on your side with strict rules, as those rules will allow you to become a better trader, and survive inevitable drawdown.
So far, only praise to this company :)
