Luxrest Venice Reviews 

We stayed in the appartment "Calle Sacrestia" for two weeks. It is located super central, very close to vaporetto stop "San Zaccharia" and to San Marco. The communication with luxrest ist always very good, efficient and friendly. We got picked up by a coworker (Valentina) at the vaporetto station. She then showed us the appartement, explained everything. In the appartment, there is a folder with all informations and phone numbers needed. That is most helpful.
The appartment was very nice furnished, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, we slept very well. Our appartment had a big terrasse, that was very nice. WIFI was good - although we sometimes had to switch the router off and on again.
It was the second time, we stayed in an appartment operated by luxrest and it was again a good experience. Thank you.

1st time in Venice and 1st time using air b and b not disappointed had a great time highly recommended

We love this little house in Venice, that is why we have been three times.
The area is great, residential and non-touristic, and excellent for getting around and away (station, buses). On each visit there have been some problems: 1. Dishwasher not functioning, but we were compensated, 2. sofa bed partly broken and vacuum cleaner not working 3. sofa bed really broken, hairdryer not working, coffee machines and iron not working. Agents did fix everything but small annoyances to interrupt our stay. Not enough bowls for instance.
We think it would be a good plan for the owners to stay for a few days to check for themselves. They could see that the fake cyclamen in window box are not attractive!

The Carron family was very professional and the welcome was very nice. They also gave us a lot of useful advices. I recommand Luxrest Venice.

Elsa Apartment is beautifully decorated and lots of natural light. Located in San Polo with great local restaurants and markets. Our only complaint is the apartment could use new bath towels or some fabric softener. Mattresses weren't comfortable.

Corte Zappa is a cozy nest on a quiet dead end. Very restful. Lots of sun. Great kitchen and bathroom. Shopping and food right out the door - and walking distance to the vaporetto. We stayed for 11 nights as a couple with previous multiple stays in Venice. We would stay again in a minute.

Lovely to have an apartment on the grand canal.. set back so theres a wide view.. one minute walk from the rialto mercato vaporetto stop.. cozy eat in kitchen..highly recommend..

My husband and I have been booking our accommodation with Luxrest Venice each year for 10 years. They provide superior accommodation and service with the advantage of being a true Venetian family business so if there are any problems they are available within the hour. Their website accurately describes all apartments they manage with complete photographic proof of furnishings. We would suggest that if you are unsure of what you require for your stay in Venice that you contact Luxrest prior to you booking your apartment, as they are extremely happy to provide and assist you.

Our experience with the Laguna view apartment has been a very disappointing one. The interior was dreary and uncomfortable. Dining chairs are wooden folding garden type, Old sofa beds are used for lounge seating, sagging badly and should be replaced. No place comfortable to sit. Bed was also uncomfortable . All furniture appeared to be purchased at the cheapest available. Kitchen ware broken or chipped. Appliances not workingg or substandard. Keys or locks faulty causing us to take an hour to open the door late one night. WiFi very bad. Promised to fix but did not. More a backpacker style of property obviously set up to accommodate as many people as possible. As very experienced travellers, we do not expect five star for a two star price. This was more two stars for a five star cost. Good point was the heating was very efficient which was important. Could be very good but needs a whole revamp.

Ideally located near the Rialto, we spent ten beautiful days in this apartment. The welcome was friendly and the location was clean and decorated with good taste. We shall come back.

The Luxrest Apartment was a real home from home - great location and great facilities

This apartment is exactly as advertised, and has stunning views of the Grand Canal, and a great bar/restaurant right downstairs.

Luxrest helped me find the right kind of apartment for our week in Venice. It was in a peaceful neighborhood, close to the language school we were attending. They were easy to communicate with via e-mail in advance and by cell phone when we arrived in Venice. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. And we really appreciated having a little food there when we arrived. Lots of good information about nearby stores.

We loved the place.

The restaurant had guests at the well outdoors and served strong drinks as late as 02.30
It was a very high noise and we had difficulties to sleep

We've been renting through Luxrest for many years and have had nothing but very positive experiences. Lovely apartments, and helpful, pleasant and efficient staff. We wouldn't go to anyone else in Venice
