Just a pleasure to deal with. Posted my necklace literally the next day after ordering despite having a huge amount of orders to get through. Extremely responsive to messages and super friendly. The item itself is really well made and high quality. I've also been in the shop in Carlisle too, and everytime I've gone in staff are super friendly and helpful and love to have a chat with you and even offered sweets! Fantastic small business, I'll be returning.

Absolutely brilliant business both online and in-store. Hand crafted jewellery, crystals and things for the home among other amazing items.
There's always something new to look at when I go in the shop (and that's pretty regular!) The owner and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and it's always a great experience.
Online, I love seeing the new releases of necklaces Korin makes and treating myself occasionally to these too! It's so good she's been able to go back to creating these beautiful things now she has a little help in the shop!
If you order anything online, it comes
packaged beautifully - you can really tell there's a lot of love goes into this wonderful business.
There are other shops that sell crystals in Carlisle, but none with the same authentic vibe, or that sells the great selection of things Luna Amatores has to offer - it's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in town!

Change of direction
The business still continues to have beautiful products however I feel the direction has been focused on less of how it started, with crystals. Showcasing new and individual pieces. The direction at the moment seems to be on one design of a necklace and only that on social media. I feel the original customers of the business and why they first liked it has been forgotten about. We loved pre sale, unboxing and what’s new in the shop for your locals.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I can assure you the business hasn't changed direction and has simply expanded, I just don't show as much online :) Luna Amatores actually began solely as a handcrafted jewellery business 10 years ago which I ran alongside working full time, eventually evolving into stocking a huge range of crystals too, which I think may be the time you discovered it!
Most customers are pleased to see the business get back into it's roots of high quality handcrafted jewellery alongside a huge selection of crystals :) I can assure you there's more than one design too - if you ever come to one of the beautiful markets I attend you'll see there's so many to pick from! Of course I will always make more of a certain design if lots of people want it, I would hate to feel like somebody is missing out!
Before I opened the in-person shop, I had plenty of time to create jewellery and run the pre-sales as I'd quit my full time job to put all of my time and energy into this business. Now as the shop has grown so much in the past couple of years and I welcome hundreds of customers through the door each week which means I don't have as much time to dedicate to social media. Pre-sales take up a solid week of work (photographing, labelling and pricing among other jobs) which at the moment I can't dedicate hours to. I have streamlined the online selling side and often upload new pieces to the website.
I spend my evenings after working in the shop creating jewellery and then catch up on social media, emails and admin (such as sourcing and procurement) when I have a spare minute, often gone midnight. People are often surprised to receive a reply to emails at 2am (though I am actively trying to not reply so late and spend more time with my family!).
In store you can still find an extensive range of crystals, I just don't show as much of it on social media as I'm simply too busy to be online. In fact, customers often comment on the incredible range available and will spend a long time browsing, even saying "there's too much choice!"! I do very often post new crystals to my social media stories as well as keeping the website well stocked, which should really be a full time job in itself (there's a lot of jobs for one person to do within this business)! I'm always happy to do live sales when enough people request them as well as a "personal shopping" experience via direct message or email.
I would absolutely love to do more unboxing videos, but unfortunately I need to respect the privacy of the customers in store and can't film a live video in store during opening hours due to this. It's also a struggle to do this on an evening as I use that time catching up on jobs I couldn't do through the day due to running a busy shop.
