Very disappointing and a rip-off
Very disappointing and a rip-off. Do not waste your money. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before handing over any cash to this company. The venue was a huge letdown as we were moved at the last minute from the church to a Guild Hall. The three ladies on stage played their instruments well but lacked a good understanding of the music they performed. The atmosphere was non-existent, and I paid for gold tickets, which were utterly pointless since everyone was in the same room facing the same stage—there was no preferential seating and no reason to spend the extra money. When I complained, I waited about three weeks for a response, only to receive no explanation and no apology. I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I feel as if I’ve been ripped off, as they will not refund the difference between these more expensive tickets, which were not needed. - Thank you for your response but you have not respond to the rip off issue.

Underwhelming
It was very nice, no more, no less. The candles didn’t really have much of an effect so we were listening to a string trio in a church which was sweet but not something I would choose. The church as a venue was good but I expected a fuller orchestra, more sound and it to be candle-lit.

Jazz evening in the Cathedral
We visited Canterbury Cathedral , an impressive venue in any case. We were shown to our event by some very helpful staff outside. Once inside and seated , the "women who defined jazz " Billie Halliday and Amy Whinehouse tribute began . The 4 piece band were superb . The singer was awesome , she was very quick to compliment her band members but didn't push herself . She needs to appreciate what a superb voice she has and vocal range and realise her talent. A great start to our anniversary evening .

I enjoyed the ABBA concert… However
I enjoyed the ABBA concert… However, the venue was not conducive to be able to see them since it was a flat floor, and they were not high enough to be viewed… If you had it again, I think you should take that into consideration… I much prefer living Waters venue… The staff was wonderful and I have no complaints about that. It’s just that I couldn’t see them… I finally went in the back and stood up… And it didn’t matter where you were unless you were in the first row or second row…

There aren’t enough stars to fill for the incredible evening at the Reformed Church in Shawangunk. The two violinists and one cellist received bravo after bravo for their Queen and Elton John renditions.
It truly was a long awaited evening - and it did not disappoint!

Overall Nice Night Out
The musicians and music were flawless. The Venue could use some improvement. I am always cold but it was actually a little warm given the amount of people that were seated right next to each other. The pews could use some cushion! Check out the pew cushions at Trinity Lutheran, they are very comfortable. Overall, a nice evening of something different. Thanks for offering it.

I purchased tickets to two shows using…
I purchased tickets to two shows using my credit card. One of the shows was canceled by the organizers. Lumos indicated that they could not credit me for that one show due to the fact[that both shows were on the same card and they could not issue a partial credit so I was left to absorb the cost of the canceled event. That excuse does not make any sense by any standard.

Extremely disappointed in the seating…
Extremely disappointed in the seating arrangements. I was technically the first to arrive, but two other couples got seated before me. When I did get seated, the view was blocked. Very cheesy taped greeting and asking for tips beyond the ticket price is beyond tacky.

The musicians are amazing
The musicians are amazing, and we enjoyed the programme of Coldplay classics and lesser known pieces.
The microphone commentary were a little unclear ( that maybe our seating area).
I had expected the music to be a little louder in the church venue
As others have noted, not candlelight. I understand health and dad issues however you could use the flicker electronic candles which give the impression of candlelight

LUMOS money over the Experience sold
We booked Platinum tickets (£99) for Hans Zimmer in a beautiful old Church in Axminster. The venue was changed to a town hall, the seats were pushed so closely each person was touching the next. This may have been unavoidable BUT forking out £99 for the "experience" was not acceptable.
The cheapest tickets were £20. I asked LUMOS to refund us the difference as it definitely was NOT the experience promised. An immediate response came, no refunds as per their terms & conditions. LUMOS can change the experience they sell you at your huge expense. Be very mindful that this Company cares more about the money they take from you than contented customers. Many Patrons commented it was their first and last LUMOS. Don't get caught out! The musicians are brilliant, the experience definately wasn't, and LUMOS is dreadful to deal with.

Lovely music but misleading marketing
The musicians were fantastic! I was however disappointed at how bright the venue was. It’s hard to have a candlelight glow when the room itself is brighter than the candles. I also specifically selected this performance because it stated that there would be a pianist, and there wasn’t one. The quality of the music was great, but ultimately I felt misled.
