Not very water tolerant
Landscaper chose these - we have about 30 lights dotted around the garden in a number of circuits. They look really nice and the light units feel well made.
The problem I have is that EVERY ONE of the Power Supply Units has failed. I started getting replacements from Lumena and they've also all failed.
I've now replaced them all with CNBrighter waterproof units from Amazon which are a lot cheaper than Lumena ones, and none of those have (yet) failed.

We're sorry to hear that you were not happy with our product. We offer up to 2 years' guarantee on all of our Lumena Lights transformers; they have an IP rating of IP68, and we state that they should not be submerged in water.
From our experience, usually when there are multiple failures on one circuit, it is usually down to some sort of compatibility issue. We always do our best to resolve any issues within that time, as well as continue support after this period.

Solar Lighting Bollard
We have their Sol-icon solar light installed along our pathway. We wanted something bright and this does just that. Cannot recommend enough.
It lasts well at night too!

I have received excellent customer service from Lumena
I have received excellent customer service from both Bonnie & Ben but the quality of the product purchased this time has taken a plunge with two defective Contesa Lamps supplied both with spot weld issues and one also had a defective lamp holder.
Purchased 9 of these lamps last year all ok but the same lamp purchased this time had lots of issues and I was very grateful to Ben for sorting out the problem quickly and efficiently at no cost to me.
Given all of the problems that I have had with this particular consignment I would still recommend Lumena to anyone because it's how issues are resolved that matters and from this point of view this company is truly exceptional.
