A Fantastic specialist
I had put up for years with a deformed jaw and my appearance, eventually knowing what the issue was I did my research and as I got older I began to get a lot of headaches and jaw pain, I went to see various specialist who just said I had to put up with it and refused to help me. Eventually the pain got so severe and due to what I thought was an ear infection, turned out to be arthritis in my jaw due to the deformity, at this point I was referred to Luke Cascarini who gave me a diagnosis for my condition and quickly set up a treatment plan. He is the first surgeon to finally help me and very down to earth which made me feel comfortable and not intimidated unlike previous consultants. Finally I got my double jaw surgery to correct my deformed jaw and joint replacement, he also came to check on me everyday whilst I was in hospital, I felt very looked after and very reassured. He shows empathy and has a sense of humour which has put me at ease throughout this whole journey and still checking how my recovery is going post op and always gets back to me with any concerns i have.
