Nightmare time with this garage
Their website quoted me about £180 for glow plug replacements and an extra £10 for collection/delivery. Phoned garage direct and my order confirmed. Supposed to be picked up 9am Friday morning. It was gone 9.45am before the guy arrived, so a bad start. The car was promised returned by Saturday. Heard nothing on the Friday! Communication on Saturday to say they'd done checks and confirmed that 4 new glow plugs and a relay were required. Cost had gone up from £190 to £790. (Was later told that their website was showing the wrong price), duh! Was told that they would do the job and I'd have it later Saturday afternoon. Phone call later to say that one glow plug would not come out and that they'd sprayed it with WD 40 and leaving it to soak overnight. He promised to phone me Sunday before 11am with an update, yes you guessed no phone call. (They're closed Sundays). So we are now into Monday, lots of phone calls and eventually my car returned late afternoon. We eventually agreed an amount of £699. Think the original price of £180 was just to lure me in. Another problem was that unknown to me the guy that picked up my car left his car parked for 3 and a half days in my Close. Neighbours complained and one actually parked on my drive as a protest! So a nightmare few days. So won't be using this company again.
