This is an update to my previous review. I ordered a custom-made suit in March 2025, and as of November 10, 2025, I still haven’t received it.
After I repeatedly asked for my money back and demanded that they finally send my suit, the company blocked me completely and stopped all communication.
I strongly do NOT recommend ordering anything from this store — they take your money and deliver nothing.
We are also contacting the hosting platform where their website is located to request that it be permanently blocked, so no more people fall into the same trap.
If you have experienced something similar, please reach out — we can join together for a collective complaint.
No honest company should be allowed to operate this way.
Fraudulent merchant – takes payment, never delivers, keeps lying for months
I strongly advise everyone to avoid LoveThePain.
I placed and paid for an order several months ago (June 2024), and to this day, nothing has ever been delivered.
After multiple attempts to contact them, they kept responding with the same excuses, “we’re shipping next week”, “your order is ready”, “just a small delay”, over and over for months. None of those promises were true. The product was never sent, and they stopped replying once I asked for a refund.
This is not a one-time issue — after researching, I found many other customers reporting identical experiences. It’s a clear and ongoing pattern of fraudulent behavior: taking payments and never fulfilling orders.
The website is built and hosted on Shopify, and I am reporting this to Shopify’s Trust & Safety team as a fraudulent merchant violating Shopify’s terms.
If you already paid them, contact your bank immediately and dispute the charge as “goods not received”.

I was nervous to order a jersey from these guys because of all the negative reviews but, i really liked the jersey so i risked it. Got an email a week later, saying my kit was in production, then after that, an email saying it had shipped. Then it arrived. 3 weeks-start to finish and the jersey is f’in cool and fits great!

Avoid Love the Pain Store - Terrible Customer Service and Unfulfilled Orders
I placed an order with Love the Pain Store on November 2, 2024, for a kit that I was assured via their LIVE chat was available and could be shipped out quickly. To expedite the process, I paid an additional $40 for rush shipping. Unfortunately, it is now February 2025, and I still have not received the item.
I have attempted to resolve this issue for over three months, contacting the company week after week, only to be met with no response, excuses, or even threats to cut off communication if I continued to ask about my order. It has become clear that this company has no intention of fulfilling my order or providing a refund, effectively stealing my money.
I have every correspondence saved as proof, including screenshots of my payment to the owner’s personal Venmo account. In November, the owner assured me the item would ship promptly with expedited shipping, yet here we are over three months later with no resolution. I’ve even offered compromises, such as accepting a different item, but the company has been entirely unwilling to work with me.
It’s incredibly disappointing that this company operates in such a dishonest and unethical manner. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers or the damage their actions cause. Avoid Love the Pain Store at all costs.

I ordered and paid for two triathlon suits on August 15, 2024. I eventually received my first suit in a panicked delivery in late October, after leaving multiple texts and voicemails reminding the vendor that I needed it for the Ironman World Championships I was flying out for that week! By this point, my patience with owner Ben Haas had entirely run dry, but I was beholden to him and his inept company, since I’d already paid for two suits and needed at least one to take with me for the event.
Roll forward to today, February 2025, and I’m still waiting to receive my second suit. That’s over 24 weeks since I ordered and paid for both suits!!
On top of this, to receive my first suit I was charged an additional $32 for express delivery, despite delivery being included in the original quote.
There’s no denying the trisuit I received is fantastic, but the service and attitude of this company and its owner Ben Haas is mind-blowingly terrible!!! They clearly have no processes in place to manufacture suits the way they promise, and their customer service is literally the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Do not buy a Love The Pain product. The pain isn’t worth it!!!

For them to send it to another address, they want me to pay the delivery fee AGAIN or they can make the refund but 20% less of what I paid.
I believe they should take responsibility of who carries and delivers their products, since we are paying them to make sure we get our product, not the shipper.
Regardless, I would have payed again if their customer service was nice and really tried to find a solution, but they are SO RUDE. They really don't care if you get your order and don't even try to make it happen: "We do not control you, addresses you put, your timeline, or the timeline of the shipper."
I insisted on my refund, so they said they would ask finance to send me the form for me to fill and get my money back, and still nothing...
Apparently de cannot control what their finance department does either... WORST customer service ever.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM
Last time I wrote was Mar 16, 2023. Thought an update may be called for.
This is a SCAM. Plain and simple.
Since my order was placed and PAID for on July 25, 2022 ... still no delivery.
Emails go unanswered.
And still they have the gall to send me promotional emails.
Honestly, STAY AWAY from this unscrupulous company, unless you "love the pain" of losing money.
Scam and fraud company
On Jan 2020 I did an order for my tri suit LTP9980
after long wait I msg LTP to make a 100% refund that they refused to do.
With other scammed members we file a complain on BBB + I went to my bank and Visa to return all my money from this fraud company.
after 6 months with help of my bank, they fully returned money via bank negotiation (not via LTP)
So if you a struggling to get your money for the order from LTP back, please just go to you bank, file a complain regarding fraud and scam transaction, attach all relevant documents and emails from LTP where they telling you that your order is still processed or they will not refund you back, and send it to your bank.
They will take an action.
Unfortunately even after 4 years, I can see that many people still want to buy something from LTP and LTP is still making money from everybody and not giving ordered products in return!
Beware of this scam company!

After reading the negative reviews, I chose to still risk it. Shame on me. First order was great and received my cycling bibs and they were very nice quality at a good price. On the second order, they made a careless mistake on the shipping which opened up the can of worms. After 8 months of sporadic communication and promises they would ship a new order, they settled and gave me a store credit. They refused to give me a cash refund. I then had to put more money in to use up the store credit. They have horrible customer service and business acumen. I am still surprised how they have not been prosecuted based on the other stories.
To my fellow risk takers, I too thought it was worth the gamble…it is not. You might get a good product here and there, but they will eventually get you and make you “love the pain.” (Damn that was a good *mic drop moment)

Last august 2023 I ordered 2 suits from Love the Pain. Only one of them was delivered months later. I contacted several times per mail a person called ben and got always some answers as they were looking for the missing suit, or they were waiting for the chamois from Italy, but the missing suit was never delivered. I tried also with the help of Better Business Bureau to receive the missing suit but Love the Pain did not answer to their request. Nice and expensive stuff but do not order it, there is a high risk that you will never receive your ordered and paied stuff!!!!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I spent over $5000 with this excuse for a company. Ben is a one-man show that has a few part-time workers. After one year I'm still waiting on products. And the products I have are already deteriorating. I am a cyclist and bought a ton of cycling kits. The legs are stretching so they don't even stay, the sizing is totally inconsistent. I wear a medium and some stuff fits, some stuff is way too tight, and other stuff is Way too loose. It will not give you a refund no matter how poorly of a job he does. And he will threaten you. If you ask him why you don't have your stuff yet after six months. I feel he's either an alcoholic or a drug attic, but of course, I don't know this for certain. It's just that the way this business is run it seems like that could be the case. Since this is a "Business" based on Gear for athletics, I highly suggest you run the other direction as fast as possible.

Wish I'd googled reviews before ordering.
I emailed them at the end of August asking them if I ordered 2 suits would they arrive by 21st September for a race I was doing. I was told by someone supposedly called Ben Haas that he would personally make sure it was made and sent straight away. I'm in Australia so I even paid a stupid amount for express postage. 2 weeks later I emailed inquiring how they are going and got no reply. I emailed a few more times with no reply. I messaged through Instagram and was told my emails have all been replied to.
I contacted again through their 'contact us' on website and received a reply saying ' are you receiving our communications '?
They then didn't reply again until I threatened with action.
Their response was, ' what's the issue!!!'
I replied once again and surprise.. no more response.
I have followed this company for a few years and was originally so excited to finally afford a trisuit from them however I am now just greatly disappointed and disgusted in their unprofessional business and attitude.

Wish I had found these reviews earlier! It seems I’m not the only one! I placed two orders at the end of may. It arrived 4 month later after countless emails I sent and they told me they where on holidays I’m missing 3 of the 5 items I ordered and one of the ONLY two items is the wrong size. 🫠 they don’t answer emails, IG messages and they even blocked me. TOTAL SCAM
UPDATE: I sent a threat telling them I was going to report them to federal trade and they answered saying they sent everything and in correct sizes! It seems I am a liar and scam artist myself… I have reported them anyway. To bad they answer only this way.
Also forgot to add that they are VERY rude!

I placed an order Nov 2022 for two jerseys and a pair of bibs. they said they would be shipped within 4-6 weeks. It is now Aug 2023 and still no product. I have been talking with Josh Smith ever since my items had not shown up. Josh kept asking for my order number even though I would reply with the previous email chain with all that information. I requested a refund and they said "it is too late for that. We cannot refund you. We will ship your items in the next week." (told me that 4 times now) And still no items. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM. THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY. Thieves
