Not looking promising, ordered yesterday and still not arrived, sent 2 emails, left one voice message, no response yet. Should have read the TrustPilot
This is the first time I have written a 1 star review. I live in NZ and bought an egift card for my family in the UK on 11th December. They still haven't received it even though the funds have been taken out of my account and I have a confirmation email. I imagine that im not the only person emailing them complaining as my emails are now bouncing back and I am yet to receive a reply. Really gutted as it looks like my family won't be getting the gift card anytime soon
Really Wish I had checked Trustpilot before buying. No voucher sent and no response to the complaint. I will be pursuing them and Marstons
THEY EVENTUALLY RESPONDED AND SENT A VOUCHER. I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL BE HONOURED IN A PUB YET BUT IF ITS OK THEN THIS IS NOT A SCAM, JUST A VERY BADLY MANAGED OPERATION
I bought a voucher for £60 for a friend. I didn’t recieve a confirmation email and my friend didn't recieve the voucher. The money was taken from my bank. Emailed them four times had one response saying they would try to locate the transaction then nothing since. Waiting until I can reclaim my money back through my bank. Will never use again!
No confirmation email no voucher received.
Purchased a Voucher for my Mother's Birthday on the 12/01/25 and then relished it was for the wrong place. Looked to get my money back the next morning 13/01/25. Sent an email, rang and left a message as the phone line is never answered. Have also sent and online request through the website portal "Love my Local" and have had no response from either after 5 days. I finally got a response 7 days later, to say they are "understaffed due to illness and annual leave", and I would get a refund in 7-10days. Wouldn't recommend, poor customer service is always a sign of a badly run business.
Sent for a e voucher for my sisters celebration birthday dinner.
Money was taken out,but voucher didn't have a QR code on it.
Wasn't able to use it for the celebration at the hotel I booked.
Very disappointed as my sister had to pay for the meal.
Voucher is no good to me now
Bought a voucher as a present to be delivered on a specific date. I got an email saying they it had been sent on said date, but my folks didn't receive the email with voucher (yes, they checked Spam/Junk folders!). On trying the 0800 contact number it is CONSTANTLY engaged. Awful
