The inspiration behind Love Cocoa comes from founder James Cadbury's, great-great-great grandfather John Cadbury, who set up Cadbury chocolate nearly 200 years ago. Bought 5 things and 3 out of 5 were smashed on arrival. Cant see anywhere on their website to contact them. For the price you pay i would expect better packaging for them not to be damaged. Hopefully they taste better than they look.
Tried for the first time today
Tried for the first time today. Nice packaging. However I will have to be honest. I was disappointed in how thin the chocolate bar was for the price.
And for me it tasted abit bitter on my pallet and left an after taste, it feels like it’s missing an ingredient. Could do with making it more milkier tasting for the pallet. Not sure I will buy again at this point. If any changes are made to remove the bitterness then maybe il try again. I also think something should be made that is more affordable. Thanks 🙂
I have ordered 20 mini sea salt bars…
I have ordered 20 mini sea salt bars and limited edition London bars 2 costing about 41 pounds I only received 2 bars of limited edition and they said I will receive refund of remaining of 20 mini bars but it's been almost a week and half but I didn't receive refund really bad experience
What a mess.
What a mess.. I ordered two simple thank you letterbox chocolates for two people. I had to do it in two separate orders because I needed it to go to two separate addresses but there was no way, at least that I could find , to do it in a single order. Anyway no big, I entered the recipient addresses and a personal thank you message but .. one of them ended up at my house, the billing address… and without the thank you note! The other one made it to the correct address and also without the note, and I wouldn’t have known that if I didn’t ask, by then the recipient had no idea why they got chocolate in the mail and disposed of it as it looked suspicious without a note. I did not get a refund or a sorry. They just said I entered my own address (I didn’t ) and oh.. the thank you notes aren’t working at the moment! So why is there an option to write one ??? Anyway .. that was my experience, I didn’t try the chocolate. I’m sure it’s great.

Don’t Bother - will be late, only just in date and not as advertised
Bought a Love Cocoa hamper via a Wowcher deal. Was 6 days late being sent out and when it came contained nothing that had been advertised. Instead it had stuff that was reduced to clear on their website. Billed as a gift for Father's Day, it had stuff branded with hearts left over from Valentines Day, all close to best before date. Really difficult to get any reply from their customer service team too.
The product is nice, tastes good and is responsibly sourced. Customer service, however, is seemingly entirely absent!

What fell short for me unfortunately was the Easter half-egg I'd ordered as a gift (at £19.95) arrived completely smashed up due to a lack of proper packaging. It had simply been put loose into a bigger box with everything else. This in itself was annoying but what's really annoyed me is that I immediately contacted customer services, with photos etc. and have heard nothing. Literally zero from them and it's now been 8 days since I messaged.

I wish I'd read the reviews... still waiting for my order to be shipped!
Do not pay for faster delivery - they do not honour this. I ordered Sunday night and paid extra for 24 hour delivery. According to the website they aim to ship same day if ordered before 3pm so I was expecting this to be shipped on Monday and with me Tuesday/Wednesday. It is Wednesday afternoon and it still hasn't been shipped. It was a gift for someone I am seeing tonight. No contact number that I can find so have had to email. Not the service that was promised and not what I would expect from a luxury brand!
Terrible service and communication
Terrible service, paid for next day delivery as this was a gift for someone, paid the extra for next day delivery pre 3pm, I ordered at 7:40am plenty of time to receive the order and ship it. Still nothing, no communication, sent a few emails and even spoke on Instagram and still no news. Terrible company, shouldn't advertise if you cannot do same day shipping. Don't pay for extra delivery as they won't provide anything. Still haven't received my order or any updated.
Arrived so late, terrible customer service
I ordered a few bars and a card as a gift and paid extra for 1-2 days (24hrs) tracked delivery.
It wasn't until a whole week later that my order was actually delivered.
This was extremely disappointing as I wouldn't have even ordered the gift if it wasn't going to arrive on time. I should have read the reviews before ordering. I emailed multiple times asking where my parcel was and when it would be delivered as the tracking didn't work and nobody responded to my emails.
This was extremely poor customer service. I have seen Love Cocoa reply to previous people's reviews by saying contact our email. But, I have very little hope this will do anything as this was the email is previously used and I was ignored.

Poor value for money
Poor value for money.
The chocolate tastes okay, but definitely not worth the price. I bought a "Happy Birthday" Gift Box and it was just a few bars of chocolate and some truffles in a pretty uninspiring cardboard box. Certainly not the "beautifully packaged" gift that I was led to expect.
I raised my dissatisfaction with them and they thanked me for my feedback.
There is far better quality chocolate out there, at a more reasonable price.

Really bad customer service
Really bad customer service - the worst I’ve had to be honest. I ordered early in the morning of the 25/11, on the website it says dispatched the same day before 3pm. On Saturday 30th I get a dispatch notification. The tracking doesn’t work. It’s very hard to get hold of anyone, despite wanting to cancel it and telling them this via email they still dispatched it. No way of calling by phone either. It’s missed the purpose of me ordering it as a gift for someone. I know the response here will be due to a high volume of orders - that’s just an excuse, this order was placed 4 days before Black Friday. They should take the dispatch details off their website then to prevent disappointment and also stop taking orders if they’re too busy. Plus it doesn’t mean your customer service should be shocking as well just generic copy and paste responses it’s frustrating. I’ve been told it’ll arrive today 2/12. Not sure how they know that as my tracking number still doesn’t work.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying!!! Ordered on 24.11.24 and not heard a thing since the order conformation email. Have sent 2 emails and not heard back, it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't state next day delivery. Understandable it is a busy time of year but some kind of update would be nice.
I am now wondering if I have been scammed? Also concerned about the products having a short BB date as stated in other reviews.

Great products and service
I had ordered an advent calendar for gifting, but when I tried to pay with Apple Pay , it erroneously changed delivery address to the billing address. I raised this with Love Cocoa and they resolved the issue. The recipients received their order today and loved it . My husband and I have been using Love Cocoa for a couple of years now and recipients have always given great feedback about their products!

Arrived late, rubbish customer service
I ordered a gift that was to arrive in time for a birthday, and paid extra for next day delivery. The order was dispatched *four* days later, and was therefore late. I contacted the company to ask for a refund for the extra postage, and received a generic, empty cut-and-paste holding reply. I'm still waiting for an actual response.
